He also gave me a much better warranty on the work he did than anyone else. The team worked fast and efficiently. And once they started, they finished within a week. Our salesman Jay was very easy to deal with, was extremely patient and polite and explained everything in a manner that was easy to understand. Their workers showed up on time, were respectful of our property and our new driveway looks amazing. Joseph, one of the supervisors was terrific and made sure that everything was going as promised and promptly addressed any concerns we had. Honestly, the crew that showed up to do the work was awesome. They worked incredibly hard, were super friendly, and never made us feel bad for asking questions. Our project manager was also great and very involved and helpful at every stage of the project. We went with System Pavers mainly because of their warranty and because we'd seen other work they'd done. Safe to say it did not disappoint. The one thing I'd suggest they improve is the design process. When we met with the design consultant upfront, he put together a rough drawing. We were told it was mostly just to ballpark costs and that the real design would come together closer to install. The issue is we never actually received that drawing, so we ended up having to finalize everything with the construction manager kind of last minute. It really wasn't a big deal, especially since we asked them to hold off on starting for several months while we finished up some other backyard projects. A clearer process there would make an already great experience even better. We would absolutely recommend System Pavers. Great work, great people.

But during my work endeavors I came across GPM / General Pavement Management. I retained them on behalf of my employer for a small scale commercial project. About 35k sf of an R&R - remove and replace of asphalt. Fancy, i know. Despite the fact we delayed awarding, followed up multiple times with questions and generally subjected them to the normal Corporate delays, they were very patient, continued to bid our other projects and were overall a real pleasure to work with. Heck, even my asphalt engineering consultant was impressed, which is difficult to accomplish. And our management team had no issues, whatsoever. WIN! The finished product looks fantastic. I drove it myself a week or so ago. It is one smooth ride, baby! Which is really all you can ask for when it comes to asphalt, no? You want smooth humps, and no bumps and that's what they delivered. They also were certain to make sure the grading and drainage were shot accurately so we don't have issues in the future, for the more technical sect out there. And their crews were professional, swift, kept debris to a minimum, and worked on time. I also have no concerns about future pot holes or dips developing. It was a smooth surface and undisturbed sub grade they relaid asphalt over. I am very happy we went with GPM and am already considering them for future projects.
