Once you do reach someone it is from a collection company - Concord- that only collects fees. You might be referred to a Zen Desk that is anything but Zen, but then they just send you an email with a ticket number. My solar system has been non-operational since at least April of 2025. Numerous contact by messaging (the only way you can contact them) and was told after a long period of time that a repair person would be contacting me within (2) weeks, That was well over a month ago. SunStrong took over my solar panel lease when Sunnova went belly up, and the customer service has been extremely poor. They double charged me in November 2025, I sent messages, emails, all unanswered, I sat on hold for a total of three hours one day (and was hung up on twice) and never reached an actual person to address this, so I turned off my auto-pay. Figured if I couldn't reach them with my concern, I would create a concern that would make them call me. Sure enough, I did not make a payment for January 2026 so they called me today to resolve and I told them they double charged me in November so I wouldn't be paying for January, to which they said they did see the double charge and would apply the second payment to January's bill. Took all of two minutes. While I had them on the phone I asked them how could I reach someone to address my concerns in the future and told them what I'd already tried. A COMPANY REPRESENTATIVE said I had called the right number, but that they are experiencing a high volume of calls/emails related to the transition and if I have a problem like this in the future I should just do exactly what I did this time and turn off auto-pay and they will call me when their system flags a missed payment. It should not take withholding payment to have my concerns addressed! read more

Worst service ever. Been asking for a completion of a ticket for more than 8 months with absolutely nothing but a runaround. You can never speak to a supervisor, none of them apparently have phone numbers, they wont call back, or email back though I consistently contact them every week now. I've been told my ticket will be escalated, that was 5 months ago. Every time I call they say they will work on it but they never do. Now they changed their website so you cant send emails, you only get a chat box but the customer phone line is no good. They cant transfer you to a supervisor either "its impossible". Run from this company. Solar is now not working but they wont allow you to submit a ticket, until they do the transfer work on their end ---again 8+ months. This is a horrible company. It is just a scamming fake business. They purchased our solar app and then threatened it would break our system unless we connected to their updated app and paid their annual fee. Then they didn't even respond to requests to set up the app. Because I have renters in that property I can't even check on the system. I recommend you avoid them. read more

Sunstrong continues to violate the leases of prior Sun Power lease holders. Do not purchase anything from this company and affiliates. Their customer service is extremely poor and will not help you. Purchased my system in 2011 and in November had to have one of their contractors come out to remove so I could replace roof and I have had nothing but GFI problems since, oh and paid 5K to get it removed and replaced. read more

I signed on with Sunpower over 10 years ago They were responsive until they filed for bankruptcy We had a problem with our solar just shutting down, when I called Sunpower they said they were in the middle of turning over the company to Sunstrong management and to call in a month. I started calling, and to this day no one has taken the responsibility to even call me back . I was told I was in line for a repair by a customer service agent, she could only write down my complaint and could not guarantee if someone would reach out. I was still paying my monthly solar lease. One of the agents said they could put the payment on a 3 month hold, and I just got a notice they were again taking the lease amount from my bank account. I called again and was told they would resubmit the request for a 3 month hold but they couldn't tell me if anyone would get back to me to fix my solar. So now I am paying for my electric bill and its not inexpensive here in LA. The entire reason to get solar was to lower my power bill, and it did for 9 years, now I am paying 3 times the amount I paid with solar , we are trying to cut back on all electrical usage. This terrible company just took over my solar power lease from Sunnova, which went bankrupt. Worst customer service ever! I could not set up a customer account using their own link that asked for the account number they assigned me and last 4 digits of my own phone number and SSN, which I certainly know. I just received an email showing my monthly lease charge is $12 more than I was paying to Sunnova, when my contract called for an annual increase in March and the average monthly increase was only about $3/month. In trying to resolve these issues I have been on hold for hours without a human picking up. I fibbed once and used the menu as an existing SunStrong customer rather than a transferred Sunnova customer. I actually got a representative who said she could not help me nor even transfer my call, so no service there. I emailed their supposed help and never got a reply. My computer security system won't even allow me to access their website as it is so poorly secured. At least my system is working and I feel so badly for others who need help in that department as I doubt they will get anywhere with these incompetent crooks. read more

I signed on with SunPower 2 years ago which has now been taken over by SunStrong. They want to start charging for a monitoring sevices that we initially had included as a sun power customer. This is a serviced that was purchased with the system and now they have stolen it from us!!!! When reaching out to them, if you are able to actually reach a live person, they just give you the runaround. The customer service is horrific. They only seem to have information on those that have a leased or PPP system. They were unable to provide me any information on my panels. They tell me that I can still see what my system is generating, which is totally untrue. I am unable to see what my system has generated on a daily basis or what has been used. Complaint has been filed with the Better Business Bureau. Since they are unable to provide me an account number, I am not even able to create a log in with them. They are thieves and ripping everyone off that has paid for the monitoring of their system when it was installed. I am extremely disappointed with SunStrong/Launch Management's handling of my leased solar panels, originally installed through SunPower. According to my contract, SunStrong is responsible for monitoring my solar system -- a service that has *not* been provided for months. Despite countless attempts to resolve this, SunStrong has repeatedly failed to take accountability. I've spoken to multiple supervisors -- some were rude, some hung up on me, and none provided any real help. I have escalated my complaint *three times* with no resolution. I've spent over **six hours on the phone**, exchanged emails with them since **December 2024**, and have sent letters through their portal (at the suggestion of customer service department), yet my solar panels are still not being monitored. What's even more frustrating is that SunStrong continues to take my **monthly lease payments** while offering no clarity, no service, and no answers. They claim they "can't figure out" who is supposed to monitor my system -- even though the information provided states it's *their* responsibility. At this point, I feel ignored, disrespected, and stuck in a contract with a company that fails to uphold even the most basic terms of service. If you're considering leasing solar panels through SunStrong or having them manage your system, I strongly urge you to think twice. We were with sun power and they went bankrupt which now we're stuck with this horrible company. There were many reasons we we went with SunPower. One being we can view our usage on their app FOR FREE! Now besides the 80k we're paying them, in order to look at your panels and usage you have to pay an extra 100 dollars a year. It is extremely hard to get through to a human to get any help and their website is a pain to log on to. This is not what I signed up for and I'm extremely dissapointed about this whole situation. Our panels have not been in full operation in over a year and we have still not been able to get it resolved. It is summer now and if we do not get these panels working we will be receiving a higher power bill this year. I cannot reiterate how disappointing it is that this company took over sunpower. If I could give it zero starts, I would. Also, they will not honor our 25 year warranty and we are now responsible for the costs of the repairs. Our system has been down for several months now. I have had multiple tickets generated to get our system up and running to no avail. Sun Strong has never followed up with us. Every month I send them a new email asking what is happening with them getting someone out to look at our system, and they reply, usually in about a week with a auto generated response that they are aware of the problem and are working on trying to find contractors that will work with them, and then, assign us a new ticket #. I have contacted several contractors that have all said the same thing. SunStrong does not answer phone calls or emails from them. The same contractors all tell us they cant look at our system, because it's leased, and until they are given approval from SunStrong, there hands are tied. We are getting ready to put our home up for sale soon, and cant do so, as long as this nightmare is ongoing. Hopefully there is a class action law suite that we can add our names to, to get this done. We have requested that they come and remove the system from our house, and we can just go our separate ways. They have never replied to our request. This has been an absolute nightmare that we have spent countless hours dealing with, as well as increased power bills due to not having a solar system working. My advise is don't use this company. if I could give this company zero Stars I would! since they took over my solar company's provider it has been an absolute nightmare! customer service is terrible, they barely speak English which isn't a problem if they know what it is that they're doing which they clearly don't. you can never get through on the phone in less than 20 minutes every time you call. sometimes when you call like I have I've gotten hung up on after being on hold for over 20 minutes. and this actually happened I'm more than one occasion! they send you emails with zero information and they admit that they have incorrect information about all of the customers since taking over. my bill was $10 higher in one month after they took over and I had to call 2 days in a row to get it straightened out so they wouldn't charge me the wrong amount! this company has been very disappointed since they bought out the supplier that Trinity solar used to have and it's absolutely horrible. they have terrible reviews online and they've even have lawsuit issues. I don't know how a company like this could take over another one that had a good reputation and it really sucks! if they don't get their act together they're going to lose customers and they're going to go under just as fast. if you can avoid this supplier do it at all costs! absolutely horrible! read more
