In general, I have a tough time with indoor pools (California kid problems) where the heavy chlorine gets trapped and circulating, ha. But, Mack is an interesting one - half deep, half shallow & the shallow side (about 3'6" IIRC) gets pretty shallow for me, and then the bulkhead separating the family/kids pool to the main 25 yd pool has holes in it so I've definitely flipped turned and hit the floor and/or stuck my foot against a hole rather than a wall haha.

He only did this class 3 times, then they suggest he move up already to the independent classes with no parent in the water with them. This made us nervous, as he just turned 3. He moved up, did ok at first, then had a hard time waiting his turn, and would splash around, etc. I asked if it was too soon to move him up classes, they said no. Well after only 3 classes, they banned him from the place for 3 months, and said we would have to start over in the parent/child class after the 3 month leave. The instructors have no patience, so if you have a young child who is not perfect 100% of the time, this place will kick you out. They do not work with you to make things better, or simply just move back a class. I would not recommend this place to anyone. To kick a 3 year old out and refuse to teach them to swim is horrible, for just acting like a newly 3 year old!!

There are many changing rooms, (including changing rooms with infant changing tables in them) and plastic bags for wet items. She truly makes every kid in her class feel so special and you can tell she enjoys her job. My son is very comfortable in the water so thank you Ariah and goldfish! We also had his first birthday party here..the staff and facility truly went over and beyond to make his first birthday perfect. They provide decorations, paper products, cupcakes, juice boxes...you can bring whatever outside food you would like. The staff wouldn't let us lift a finger...would ask where we wanted something and it was done! They helped serve the guest food, packed up for me, even cleaned my son highchair which was full of cake...like I said OVER AND BEYOND what I was expecting. Thank you Valentina and Ariah! As for the facility they keep it clean and if there is any issue in the pool they don't hesitate to shut it down.
