I called Grease Monkey and it was $80 before a coupon. I called Airway Automotive and Tire and was quoted $40, just for the labor. The lobby area was clean and spacious. The shop does appointments and walk-ins. My oil change was done in 40 minutes. I sat in the waiting area. There is a water machine, coffee, tea and television. The business says Grand Opening on the outside. I would come back again for service! The cost was reasonable especially compared to the other shops I called.

This past summer of 2018 my trailer was in the shop for 2 front air bags. 4 days and $1500 later it was done. In the process Leland broke my air scale, broke my welds on my slider, cut the welds on my slider and left them that way, bent a cross member using a cum along to move my slider, didn't fix the air leaks on the new air tank they installed last time, the brake shoe that was slipping out that Leland installed in a prior visit wasn't fixed, and didn't align the trailer after altering components that impacted the alignment. Communication about the progress of the repairs was non-existent and no pre-approval was done for charges/actions beyond the estimate. The trailer came back LATE AND WITH MORE ISSUES THAN IT HAD GOING IN. AFTER YEARS OF USING LELAND I'M GOING SOMEWHERE ELSE.

On 01-15-24 I needed a tow. AAA advised me that Amity would be coming. There was a misunderstanding between AAA and Amity, which was discovered after a male from Amity called me, so the service was cancelled. (I needed a tow not a jump.) I called AAA back to start another tow. While doing so the male from Amity called. I told him the request was cancelled and it was fine. He was nice. AAA texted me another tow was coming and called to tell me it was Amity again. I thought, perfect, use someone local and support small business. I called the male again just to make sure everyone was on the same page. He assured me that I would be taken care of and apologized for the delay. He went on to say there were three tows before me and that another employee called out today because, "They worked too hard the day before". This should have been the first red flag, talking bad about your employees. I commented, "He's the man", as in getting the job done. He replied that he didn't know about that because, "He doesn't wear the pants in the family. She's in the office". Ouch another red flag. I asked if I needed to call the office to make sure everything was confirmed. He told me no and assured me everything was good. AAA text advised the Amity tow would arrive by 2:05pm. After 3:00pm, I called the office and a woman answered the phone. I told her who I was and wanted to make sure they were still able to get my vehicle before closing. She told me they weren't coming. I was shocked! I questioned her. She told me it was cancelled this morning. I tried to tell her the tow was called again. She proceeded to tell me that she told AAA they couldn't do it because they were too busy. Frustrated and in a hurry I said goodbye and hung up. I immediately received a text from Amity saying, "If you were nicer, I could have tried to help you. Fix your attitude". I tried calling back three times, but she blocked my call. I tried calling the male and he wouldn't answer. I returned a text, "Real nice. Whoever took my call, said you were coming. Shame on you". I will never use your business and I'll be sure to tell everyone I know how horrible you are, including AAA.

They towed us and our pickup to their shop in Cheney, gave us a ride to the hotel, and promised to have our repair completed first thing on Tuesday. They replaced the alternator at the expected cost, picked us up at the hotel, and we were on the road again before noon. We were very impressed with their customer service, feeling they went above and beyond to help us get home.

They diagnosed the issue and the engine was bad from Jasper. They handled all the paperwork and warranty repair and got the vehicle back to me in a reasonable amount of time. I drove it 4 times and the drive shaft shredded again. Dan's explanation was that I ordered the part wholesale rather than spending the 700 he quoted me. I returned that driveshaft and bought a second, more expensive model from a wholly different place only to have this one shred again within half a mile of the shop. Again his explanation was cheap parts. I've now purchased this very basic American part twice from 2 separate manufacturers at my own cost and time. It's now almost September and I still don't have my truck. These men are not mechanics. They are con artists.

My very first experience with this shop was on an old Ford Explorer because the A/C wasn't blowing cold. He found the problem, the A/C clutch wouldn't engage. Instead of selling me a new A/C pump as most other garages would do he found out it just needed a shim to work properly and fixed it for a very minimal charge. Now that's an honest guy, he didn't know me from Adam and could have taken advantage of me. This company shows impeccable skill and more so impeccable integrity. My dad left my sister and I 1966 Mustang in great condition. We hired Jason to fix a power steering leak and perform a general tune up on the car. When the car returned to us the power steering was still leaking. Jason told us that he could never get it to stop and blamed it on the new parts he purchased being faulty. Instead of returning the faulty parts to the company he purchased them from, he bought two more new replacements which he claimed also did not work right out of the box. Again, when the car was returned to us, the leak was still present and Jason said he would warranty the work. For this he charged us $2428.50. A year later, we contact Jason to complete the tune up (free of cost) to which he agreed for the work he never completed the first time. Jason then took it upon himself to perform work on the carburetor, kitting it and then removing it from the car and taking it to another shop to look at, without giving us any notice. He informed us of the work and actions after he had performed the work. At this point we told Jason we wanted the car returned and did not want him to perform any further work. When he returned the car, he further took it upon himself to tell me of two other instances where people who met him through the same BNI group I did, were no longer using his services. One of them being a rather large cleaning company in Spokane, who Jason told me was accusing him of burning up a brand new engine on one of their service vehicles. Jason charged us $554.49 for him to perform unauthorized work and not the tune up he was supposed to do. In Washington State there is a duty for repair shops to provide an estimate for repairs over $100 in cost. Jason did not provide an estimate on work performed either time. Nor did he obtain authorization for work done. Further, when Jason did inform us of the carburetor he quoted us at $500-$1500. When another mechanic sourced the part, from the same place Jason said he was familiar with, the quote was $220. Even more, he explained that the engine was flooded and there was 1.5 liters of gas in the carburetor as a result of Jason continually trying to run the car when the engine was flooded. He also informed us that the radiator neck was breaking away, which in the two times Jason had the car he never mentioned. When we expressed our extreme dissatisfaction with Jason's business practices and asked him to right his wrong he agreed to refund the money we had spent on work that still to date is not completed. I drove out to Jason's shop to get the check. At that time he stated he had changed his mind and began to scream at me about how I did not know the difference between a radiator and a carburetor, amongst other things. At this point I told Jason I would not entertain arguing with him or him screaming at me and that I would just leave a review. He offered to rip up the check from the most recent work in response to this before continuing to yell. I have attached the messages from the mechanic who got it the day after Jason returned it to our possession. Jason not only will not complete the work he is hired for, he will blame it on parts and everything other than his own capabilities. Jason is not qualified to work on classic cars and I would highly advise you think twice before allowing him to work on any car of yours. And if you aren't happy with his work, which you won't be, be prepared to be screamed at.
