Took our explorer in to get a new engine installed and they got right on top of it. Had the vehicle back and unfortunately the Jasper engine had an issue. They diagnosed the issue and the engine was bad from Jasper. They handled all the paperwork and warranty repair and got the vehicle back to me in a reasonable amount of time. Brought the vehicle back to life and it's a pleasure to drive. We have gone to AMG for other repairs and these guys ROCK!! They are fast, efficient, honest, great pricing and I will definitely continue to take my vehicles there. read more

Took my 2013 Camry in thinking I had something going on with my transmission but not entirely sure. After about an hour and half, Josh came back and told me he did not find or experience anything wrong while testing it. This reassured me of their integrity as I came essentially asking for them to find something wrong and a reason to charge me, and they did not. Not a penny. Never thought my first review for 2023 would be for our local mechanics, but here are my fingers a-typin'. These guys are great. Danged busy, but great. Been taking all our diverse vehicle fleet here for years. They always fix our issues, and if anything arises post auto repair, they always take care of it non grata. For you California transplants who may not understand, that means they stand by their work. We just had a bad drive train issue on one of our commuting vehicles over the holidays, and while we needed to wait several days before we came up on their schedule, there was no delay on repairs when it was our turn. Always a fair price for quality work, and they will even install parts that you purchase (in our case a trailer hitch assembly). We won't take our vehicles anywhere else... read more

Went to this shop for the first time because my regular mechanic was too busy and all I needed was an oil change. When they called to notify me that my car was ready the technician told me that my car had leaks everywhere. When I asked what the cause of these leaks is the tech answered with, I would have to pay for an diagnostic on my car. The problem was the fact that my car even though it is old does not leak any fluids or burn any oil due to the amount of work I have had done over the 11 years I have owned the car. Furthermore, the car was at my regular mechanic just 3 weeks ago and it checked fine with no noticeable leaks. I am not sure if the technician was lying to me to drum up another repair or if she is just that incompetent. I will not ever let them touch any of my cars from now until the end of time. read more

On our way home from Spokane to Seattle. We had some car trouble. We quickly searched for a local mechanic and found AMG Auto Repair! Thank the Lord we did. It was a blessing from start to finish! I know they were busy but they took us right in. They worked overtime and extra on a Saturday to get our car back on the road. High praises for AMG. Unlike the other review, I have had nothing but good experiences with AMG Auto. First off, I love that they're a locally owned and operated business. I have had both older (2003) and newer (2016) vehicles at AMG for different services from smaller (oil changes) to bigger (timing belt service, intercooler replacement) and I feel that they're always fair and honest about price. Heck, they once even recommended me to another shop, because they knew that the other shop could do it cheaper. My only complaint about AMG is that they're often scheduling more than a week out because they're pretty busy. But then again, would you really want to take your car to a mechanic who is not busy? Keep up the good work y'all. read more

i am not one to complain about a company. as for AMG auto here in Cheney Wa. I took my truck to them for many repairs and unfortunately they didn't get them fixed. I took my 2009 Doge ram 1500 with a cylinder 6 misfire i took it to them and they did a repair and said it would fix it. well it didn't and i took it back and again they did work said it would be fixed nd i have paid well over what i should of it still isn't fixed and now they said bring it back in and they will try again to diagnose it. i don't know how other peoples experience have gone but as for me i really wish they would stand by there work, read more

They were going to replace power steering pump. Lied to me about the status of my repair. Asked to see old power steering pump, was denied because it had "already been shipped out". Asked to see purchase order for new pump. Was unable to "because it was a bookkeeping thing". Turns out the pump hadn't even been replaced yet. They did not charge me for the replacement of the power steering pump. Misrepresenting the status of repair is not cool. read more

I took my car in because it was marking a check engine light. They did a evaluation on my car and somehow it only took 20 minutes to figure out I needed a new water pump and radiator and many other things that came out to 1000 dollars plus. Had a gut feeling they were trying to scam me because I was a college student and knew nothing about cars so I took it in to Subaru where they told me my car was fine my car is in perfect shape there was just a loose hose and charged me 100 dollars instead of 1000 dollars plus. WHATEVER YOU DO DONT GO HERE TO GET YOUR CAR FIXED THEY ARE SCAMMERS THAT LIKE TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE WHO DONT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT CARS. read more

This auto shop is the best and most honest place I've ever been to! The owner and workers are extremely efficient and charge the most reasonable price! They were so quick! My alternator went out this year and last year (two different cars). Last year I was unable to take my car to them and was charged $200 more than AMG charged me this year. The work was done in over half the time! I highly recommend them to anyone! They are a jewel in the Cheney community! read more

The mechanics and owner are the are the best. I have used AMG at least 4 times in the last year and each time they are honest, reliable, and knowledgeable. The owner/mechanic even came out to my house to jump my dead battery and refused payment! Later when the battery finally died completely, he brought a new battery, installed it, and told me to come by the garage whenever I could to make payment! Who does that anymore? When I first started going to Aaron, they were great. Then they got busier and busier, and the quality of their work went downhill, as did their service. The last several times they have had to try to resolve an issue over and over, costing my $$$'s, and the issues still were not fixed. The last time they fixed a problem, they ruined my remotes, basically said, so sorry, and the problem came right back. My truck finally would not start (which they said was fixed), they would not even reply to my requests for help, and I had to pay to get it towed somewhere else. My problem was quickly and correctly diagnosed, corrected,and at far less cost than what I had already paid AMG. I won't be going back to AMG, and I would advise you not to either. read more
