Dr. Pieraccini was highly recommended to me by a dental hygienist. She said that he was a very good dentist and that he really makes you feel really comfortable. She was right! He is terrific. Everyone in the office was nice, warm, helpful, knowledgeable. Also, his dental hygienist was so good. She taught me so much about my teeth and what is going on inside my mouth. I wouldn't think I could be that interested, but I was. She knew so much and was fun. And finally, they didn't sell me on a lot of unnecessary things and they told me the right questions to ask my insurance company so I could figure out what it would cost. This is a true family run practice. Dr. P, and his lovely wife Cara are just fantastic people all around. Dr. P's a Sausalito native, so they know everyone in town, and you get the sort of small town treatment here. Christina, and all the other hygienists are great, and always offer very helpful tips and truly seem concerned that you have the best oral health possible. Cara, always has a friendly smile to greet you, and is very accommodating when you are scheduling your appointments, or need to make a change. Dr. P, has has a truly gentle touch, and is very conservative when it comes to suggesting procedures. I know when he recommends something that its in my best interest and have no doubts that its truly needed. I moved from Sausalito to Novato a few years back and it never even crossed my mind to find a closer dentist, I gladly drive the 20-30 minutes to continue going here. Dr. Vohra made me change my mind about dentists! She is very professional and knowledgeable and also has that human touch that unfortunately is missing in many healthcare professionals. She has been my dentist for 5 years and I appreciate her thorough and holistic approach. She treats not only teeth but also TMJ issues, mandibular Imbalance, bite... Also she doesn't try to over-sell or over-treat and she takes the time to explain the procedures and the options. Her work is of very high quality and she uses top-notch material and equipment. For example I had a deep cavity on the back on a lower molar and before meeting Dr. Vohra I had it treated by 2 other dentists but in both cases the filling fell off few weeks later... with Dr. Vohra my filling is behaving well after 5 years! Today was my first time having work done, two cavities were filled, and it was quite a pleasant experience. Dr. Vohra and her assistant made me feel very comfortable. I've been a patient of Dr. Pieraccini's for around 30 years. For the past few years I have neglected my teeth and was too embarrassed to make an appointment. I should have known better! With a mouth full of problems, I finally made an appointment for x-rays and consultation. Not only was the doctor and his staff nonjudgmental and welcoming to me, but he fixed the most critical problem right then and there and set up a schedule to take care of all the other problems. I'm incredibly grateful! For those who fear shots, Dr. Pieraccini has a magic touch, a very calming demeanor and compassion for his patients. I have been going to Dr Vohra for over 10 years, following her to her great practice in Sausalito. She is not only an amazing dentist but an extremely warm and caring doctor with a very gentle touch. Dr Pieraccini and his lovely wife, Cara, saved my mouth. My previous dentist, Dr C. worked in Kentfield. It was he who discovered three cavities among two teeth and quoted me what I felt was a surprising high price. I've been unemployed since 2007 and haven't had dental insurance in years but there was no wiggling with Dr C on the price which was more than I could afford. With Yelp I found a few dentists closer to where I lived and began by calling the closest, Dr Pieraccini. I spoke with Cara and explained my situation and she gave me a list of names and phone numbers of three clinics* that treat patients in my straights. Unfortunately, for one reason or another, none of them worked out. Fortunately, Cara said if that didn't work out, I should call her back and she would discuss my case with "the doctor"; I found out much later that he was her husband. She came back with a price that I could work with and asked if I could be there that afternoon. Cara asked if I perchance had my x-rays then tried to contact Dr C for them but their answering machine informed her that they were on vacation. Dr Pieraccini's assistant, Malia, prepared the x-ray machine but my concern about an added cost and radiation exposure made me balk. Dr Pieraccini assuaged my fears by explaining that his digital x-ray device uses far less radiation and there would be no additional charge(!) Malia managed to capture it in one small wingbite shot. Dr Pieraccini was the very essence of care throughout the entire procedure periodically checking with me to see if I was comfortable while Malia expertly handled the ancillary tools. I had no complaints. *Marin County Clinic in San Rafael isn't seeing adult patients outside of emergencies; the U of P Dental School was closed for the summer and a dentist in Novato had really mixed reviews on Yelp. read more

Dr. Vohra is excellent. I had a really good experience; the staff that helped me were very pleasant and the hygenist/assistant was nice too. I got X-rays and a cleaning (first after a few years!) and Dr. Vohra was able to complete my cleaning all in one office visit.
