I called the store and spoke to someone in the meat market. They offered to replace them, but that would mean driving over there, picking them up, returning home, and cooking the next batch. They said it must have been a bad batch. I don't buy that. The meatloaf this past week was just as peppered. Management ought to be concerned if an employee is working to lose a lot of loyal customers if they don't get a quality control program in place. I fully entered and was amazed at how nothing's changed since my teenage years. I went to the cooler for a Red Bull but it looks like they don't sell it. There was plenty of beer though. I then went up front to inquire about 5 Hour Energy. There was one case of regular strength for individual sale. That wasn't enough for me so I politely declined and mentioned I was hoping for extra strength. I began to walk out when the cashier gave me unsolicited caution about "taking that stuff." I just said, oh ok." I love boudin just as much as the next person but I highly doubt M&S cautions every customer about the other unnatural products they sell.

Hearing employees raise their voices and argue openly gives a negative impression and makes the environment uncomfortable for shoppers. The cashiers were polite, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and pleasant -- exactly what customers hope to find in their local grocery store.
