They have a surprisingly good selection of ethnic foods and spices and carry a huge array of local craft beer. They also have a bulk section that is much bigger than I would expect for a small hometown market. Their produce is always fresh which is something I can appreciate. Right as you walk into the store, there is deli which also offers a hot section things like fried chicken and corn dogs. If you are in the Stevensville area, this is a great place to pick up any grocery items you may need without having to drive all the way to Missoula or Hamilton.

Super1Foods is being deceptive (and lazy) in that they sell foods with GMO ingredients in their "Natural & Organic" department. This is a company wide problem. I have brought it to the store's attention twice over the years and they have not changed. They have a good selection of USDA Certified Organic and Non-GMO Project Verified foods in their "Natural" food section, but they mix in other packaged and processed foods that are not certified or verified and/or are clearly made with GMO ingredients. See attached photo. Selling GMO foods under a sign that says "Natural & Organic" only adds to consumer confusion, and is dishonest. read more

I have to say I was shocked to see the poor reviews for this store!! Personally I've always had a good experience on my trips there. The manager that is a taller gentleman with a short haircut and seems to be work 24 seven because he's always there when I come and is Working twice as hard as everybody else. I have always respected that in a boss, Hopefully they were able to catch the people slacking off and changes have been made from these people's bad experiences. read more

The next time I go into Super 1 in Stevensville, MT and see an employee not wearing a mask, or wearing a mask hanging down below their nose, I am going to take a photograph and email it to Super 1/BGC COrpoprate headquarters. To the manager (s): Your employees are violating corporate policy, Montana state mandate, and endangering my family. I've been shopping here for years now and I love it! This is the first grocery store I've ever shopped at where the cashiers know you! There is always a smile for me there and very helpful and kind cashiers and other staff as well. I won't shop in other stores because of the atmosphere here! My entire family now shops here. While removing the old cabinets they broke window trim. They didn't mention it, didn't keep the piece that broke and now I'm sticking with needing to match the old trim that has been in place and in the sun for years or replace all the trim so it matches. There is toe kick that was more than an inch short but they just left it with a big gap. They made the decision without any consultation to simply not include a cabinet because it would be in the way of the dryer even though the old cabinet was there and there was no issue with the dryer. Now the wall has an exposed spot that has to be painted which did t need painting and has to be matched to the old paint or the entire room repainted. There are gouge marks on the wall and broken drywall where they pried the old back splash but took zero care to not do damage. The quality of their cabinets is no better than any box store. The quality of their install is no better than any completely unskilled laborer could pull off. Like I said in the beginning, I literally could go on and on. The final word is that refuse to make it good. They defend their shoddy work. I wouldn't recommend them to an enemy.

Might be a good idea to verbalize the price (at least the total overall) to customers when they place an order if you won't be posting accurate pricing information online. We really liked this place but that is borderline theft.
