Opening our the door, we found our room had that old fashioned feeling but with some modern conveniences. The Ace motel is a great break from the "corporate cookie cutter" rooms you find in the big chains. Do yourself a real favor and if you have the chance to stay here, do it! A piece of advice BOOK YOUR ROOM DIRECTLY THRU THE ACE MOTEL SITE OR PHONE! Linoleum floor was so uneven I was afraid I was going to twist an ankle. Got the room because the place is pet friendly, took my dog for a walk and the owner seen us started petting the dog and being friendly to her. Next thing you know he hurling threats at me because I didn't tell him we had a dog. Saying he could charge us $250 extra. I told him all the other hotels I checked into that were pet friendly asked or didn't care if I had a dog. He said it was my responsibility to tell him and someone could die if they went into a room that previously had a dog and they had a severe allergy.
