He was very technically proficient and had good attention to details like making sure that any extra goo that seals the window was clean up with a razor blade and he made sure the windshield wipers were operating properly after he reinstalled them. About an hour later the windshield was replaced. A few months ago on a road trip a tiny pebble flew into my windshield and cracked it a little! I ignored it for months and the crack grew bigger and bigger. Finally had had enough of the jerkiness and shame that comes with not taking care of your car right away and decided to finally file a claim. These guys are great! I had a somewhat complex windshield install with special sacrificial trim pieces as well as 2 sensors and they nailed it. They asked all of the right questions and addressed all of my detailed concerns. The 2 man grew that showed up at my house was prompt, fast, friendly, professional, and detail oriented. They found less costly non-OEM glass for me when the dealer glass was on back order. I was slightly concerned that it wouldn't have the OE screening on it, the dot and blackout patterns around the edges and surrounding the sensors, but honestly, I couldn't tell the difference between OE. Wow!! I called over this past weekend and they were closed but I thought let me try anyhow. They actually reached out to me on Monday 1/29 and I hadn't least a voice mail but did notice that they missed my call. I have a 2017 Lexus NX200T and got a nick on the front shield from something while driving. Of course safety first so I wanted to see if it could be repaired as it was less than 1.5 inches and not all the way through the glass/ I brought it into a place in Daly City and they said no unrepairable and quoted me $400 to replace the front windshield. Lexus dealership quoted me $982 without labor for the windshield without seeing it all. This company asked for pictures, spoke with their technician and reassured me that for now we are ok. It's called "surface putting" and so minute not even something to repair. I got lucky thankfully!! The nick hadn't even broken the plane of the glass therefore it's still safe and unnecessary to do anything at this time. Their communication was excellent and it's refreshing to work with honest people not just trying to make a buck or taking advantage of you! So while I didn't use their service the time, effort, professionalism, and communication that came with this company is undeniable. Thank you for saving me some money!! read more

I have to preface this review by saying at first, I had an appointment at Safelite auto glass in south SF 3 WEEKS prior to get a windshield replacement through my insurance. As soon as I show up, the associates there were complete ASSHOLES. Took two seconds to look at my car and didn't even want to replace the glass because I had changed tires and did a small lift on the car. Gave me a million excuses and said there's an issue with getting the safety features recalibrated blah blah blah. For the following 3 weeks I went back and forth with insurance and going through the dealership to no avail, all while having a huge crack in my windshield. I finally cracked, called the nearest smaller auto glass place (Super Auto) and explained everything. The guy who answered, Ty, was fucking awesome. He understood the issue, worked with me, gave me the warning about recalibration but still did the damn work anyway. Two days later, windshield replaced quick and easy, and they even went to my house and did it right outside. Afterwards sent me to a shop they work with who do the calibrations and the safety cameras PASSED without a single issue. The weight on my shoulders was immediately lifted all because of Super Auto glass in SF. If this ever happens again, I'm going straight back here no questions asked. FUCK Safelite. read more

I called 3 places and they were booked or they only had the Vw branded glass which Geico won't cover. Safelite through Geico was booked for the next 8 days. My rear passenger quarter glass was broken into on Monday night. Emailed Super Auto Glass to get a quote on Tuesday morning. Was able to get a quote and speak with Slava on the phone the same day. He was able to clearly provide both cost and time estimates (my part was OEM so he wanted to be upfront about waiting 24 hours to acquire it). Once it arrived, I was called promptly to book a time (7:30am in the morning so I could head to work immediately after). I paid half up front over the phone and was told the remainder would be charged once service was completed. The gentleman that performed the service was very kind and was done in 20 minutes (note: quarter glass is small so adjust your please adjust your time expectations if you're entire windshield has to be replaced). At the end, I was given written instructions on what to do for the next 48 hours to ensure the glass would cure and settle properly. Great process and well organized. Overall, I'm very happy I chose them. I wish more businesses would follow Super Auto Glass' example. read more
