It's annoying, frustrating and disheartening when we fall victim to a 'smash and grab' in the city. Cars getting broken into on a daily is nothing new, but having something like this happen multiple times to multiple different cars within my circle of family is starting to make me wish evil upon the imbecile that did it. But, I've learned not to return evil with evil. While my crew was out doing roof patches in the mission district, some low-life smashes our company van's window and steals several work tools. Sigh...I've always worked with Safelite Auto Glass, but they were booked out until February. "What to do?" I hopped onto Yelp and started searching for Auto-Glass companies that are willing to service the broken window at a location convenient to me. We don't have the luxury of dropping the van off to a shop and wait for a couple of days for it to be fixed. It's a busy season in the roofing business, our crew needs to be out at different job sites every single day and they need their tools! So that meant I needed to find a place that would offer same-day service and would be willing to get the job done at one of our roofing project location. Superior Auto Glass caught my eye. Why? I honestly don't know. But I called anyway and a nice gentleman named Giovanni picks up. After explaining my situation, he was willing to work around my needs. He took down the van's info, asked me which day was most convenient, gave me a quote and just like that, repair date was scheduled. His quote was pretty attractive and reasonable compared to what I was quoted from Safelite Auto Glass. There were no hidden fees - just labor+parts+tax. It's definitely cheaper than going through my commercial auto-insurance. Deductible is $1000.00. Cray-cray! Fast forward to the day of appointment. - A person named Otto(?) calls when he was 30 minutes out. (1 Star) - He calls upon arrival. (1 Star) - Find out, he brings the wrong window size. I thought we had to reschedule, but that wasn't the case. Otto went out of his way to drive back to his shop to get the right sized window. He was back within 40 minutes. (1 star) - REPAIR DONE SUPER QUICKLY! By the time he got back with the correct window, I'm assuming it's around 12:30ish? I get a call a little after 1pm saying he's done. WOW! As soon as my foreman paid for his services, a receipt was sent via text along with final photos. (1 Star) From start to finish, it was hassle-free. Yes, there was a minor hiccup with the wrong size, but I was impressed how quickly it was rectified. The level of customer service, friendliness, professionalism and the open communication to keep me in the loop was just a wonderful experience overall. Replaced the windshield on my Mazda. Started with quote from the biggest autoglass company Safelite - $491 (includes $50 if you book now discount). Also, received 3 other quotes ranging from $460 to $490. Over the phone quote from Superior Auto Glass was $325 - about a one third savings from the other quotes. Scheduled the replacement for next day. Tech (Carlos) called 20 minutes prior to arriving and said job would take up to 45 min. After 25 minutes, Carlos called and said job is done. New glass looks great. Went over some detail regarding curing time, how long to wait til car can be washed, warranty, etc.... All in all - great experience. I AM SO GRATEFUL! Unfortunately this morning someone broke into my car and caused me a lot of damage in my window that I had to replace it. I haven't done that in my life and I was scared if having to spend too much money and time fixing it. I found them as one of the top 10 places in SF on Google to fix glasses damaged. I called, they came right way, fixed my car in 45 minutes and cleaned all the pieces of glass. The price is fair and affordable! Quality and good customer service. I really recommend it! I called to see about getting the windshield repaired on my 67 Cadillac, the day before it got chipped and then started cracking. They said the crack was to large to repair which I knew already so he gave me a quote on a new windshield. It sounded fair to me and he said it would take a day or 2 to get the windshield but later that day he called me back and was ready. So they came to my garage and installed it there, mind you it's a 67 Cadillac so they had to be skillful on removing and reinstalling all the chrome trim around the window. They got it done and it looks great so I'm happy they took good care of my baby. read more

Our car was broken into at the Golden Gate Bridge. I called several companies and many were closed due to Covid. Some I couldn't even get a person. After calling Superior Auto, I had a person on the phone who was wanting to help us get a same day appointment. He estimated a technician would be there in 2-3 hours. Juan arrived well under 2 hours. Juan did an incredible job cleaning the glass from our vehicle and the parking lot. He was fast yet precise in putting the new window in as well as cleaning it. He made sure the electronics were good on the window and did everything quickly without compromising quality. If I'm ever in the SF area and need services, this will be the company! They provide mobile service where whey came to my house to fix it so I don't have to worry about driving with a broken window (kinda scary!). My car got broken into last night, I called that at 8:45 this morning and my window was perfect and my car was clean by 11:30. Super nice, quick, and professional.
