This place is okay, it just depends on who is working. Some of the workers are really kind and gentle. But others don't ask what you want they just start doing your eyebrows right away. But lately customer service has been a little better. Also, it's difficult when some of the workers don't speak English because I can't talk to them about my eyebrows and I can't ask them questions. Before I went here I got them waxed at a nail salon. OMG the worst experience. Totally messed up my eyebrows. I was scared to try a different place. My friend was great in recommending me this place. She told me to go to Sarah and thank god she did because Sarah made my eyebrows look great. Some people have even asked me if they're real or if it's make up. This is a great threading place! I used to go to House of Beauty, but their customer service and attention to detail failed me the last time I went. I yelped for another threading business, and found Super Brows. It was clean, comfortable and she was extremely friendly. It was such a pleasant surprise, and the prices were better than getting waxed. It was relatively pain free and there was minimal redness afterwards. I was able to use the Yelp $8 for $12 coupon, and checked-in so I could use the $2 coupon for next time. She even told me to check them out online because they regularly send coupons to their customers, a great plus! I literally JUST finished with IZ (pronounced "eye-zee") at Super Brows. I am beyond happy with what he did to my brows. I'm visiting from the LBC and I needed to get my caterpillars done. Let me first say that I had hit my head when I was younger, and I have a scar from the top of my forehead to my eyebrow. That area does not grow hair. He did not try to lecture me about "over plucking" that area, but shaped my brows as if I had hair there because I fill it in with pencil anyways. My normal eyebrow lady ALWAYS tries to tell me not to pluck there. I go to her every other week and she still doesn't listen after every time I tell her it's a scar that doesn't grow hair and to not try to go around it. I always have to fill in more than I want. Anyways! IZ is fantastic! He was super gentle and very meticulous. After a little threading, he'd wipe off the area and make sure everything was even. Will go to him when I'm back in town. read more

Only gave this star because I had to in order to leave a review . I have given this location business even after being displease in the past one of the biggest reasons is because it's in the same plaza as my work and it's so convenient after my experience today I had to go to the BBB with my complaint. I walked in and was greeted the lady began to ask if I wanted a clean up I said yes just clean up I mentioned to her she could take off my eyebrow make up for better results as she was doing it she began to ask me if I wanted them cleaned up and I said yes now for the second time I told her maya was working with me before and working on growing my inner brows out she then started talking to me about the shape of my brows if I wanted them reshape I said no just clean up she then said let me show you and handed me a mirror and talked about my brows not being even I told her the brow she was tAlking about and the the threaders never seen that and explained I liked what maya did and it's an easy fix for me when I do my brows and if she could just clean them up for the forth time now ... she then started arguing saying if I wanted maya to do them I should come back and see her tomorrow when she's here because I her words " I keep talking about maya" at this point I was over it and I got up and asked for her name she then she said no no I'll clean up and I said no it's okay your pretty much refusing me service I'm okay I asked for her name again and she refused to give I to me. I let her know it was not right what she did when I simply asked to just clean up my brows 4 times and she didn't want to do it . After my experience today I'm sure I'll get a message from the a manager or who ever but it's too late I'll never step foot into your establishment and I'm the face of my job I always get asked where I get my brows done and I send them so much business I will find another place to go to because there's so many other places that will treat u with respect . I thought about it after I left and wondered if I was saying something wrong I didn't. I've been there quite a few times. I am allergic to wax so threading is the only option I have left (since in my opinion it hurts less than plucking). The lady noticed I had very sensitive skin without me having to explain it (as I usually have to do) and she went as far as giving me some tips that were really helpful. Besides threading I also buy some sort of oil for my eyelashes which nourish them and help them grow. As for price, it is slightly cheaper than other places I have been to. They also offer threading packages that save you some $$$. They also send you at least 1 coupon per month, which saves you some additional money. If you use your coupon or buy the package you will be getting an incredibly reasonable price, in comparison to other threading places in the Chula Vista/San Diego area. read more
