This was a frustrating experience, but the food was good. This little Chinese restaurant is in a old strip mall. The owners have installed a plexiglass wall at the window, in which the clerk cannot hear through. So you have to talk very loudly to order. And still she got our order wrong. And we did not get the order of rice that came with our meal. They have 6 tables to eat at but did not have napkins or chop sticks. The only utensils were cheesy plastic ware with sharp edges. So we ate our soup soup there and carried the rest home. The food is actually good. The hot and sour sour was very hot and filling. The Shrimp Szechuan Style was also good and hot. Being here for work, I was surprised when I stopped by for dinner. First time here I had the general tsos chicken and it was by far top 3 out of all the general tsos I've had in my travels. So good I came back the following week for the Chicken fried rice and once again, it didn't disappoint. Tonight I choose the beef broccoli and can't wait as I know it will be amazing. Best summary I can give, China Wok would be a hidden gem and worth the detour if traveling between Chicago and Indy. This is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants to eat at. They always have the best service and always have a friendly staff. It's a small building, but the staff isn't noisy and the dishes don't clang around too much which is great. I always come here for lunch and sometimes for dinner. I call my order ahead and it's ready by the time I get there (about ten minutes later). The food is always hot too when I pick it up. The portion size is also very great! I also have leftovers. China Wok is easily the best Chinese restaurant in Lebanon. The food is hot and fresh. After a disappointing visit to a different Chinese restaurant a few weeks prior, I was looking forward to getting some great Chinese food and I was not let down. My personal favorite dish is the General Tso's Chicken. Normally, I like to have chicken or pork fried rice with my General Tso's Chicken, but the chicken pairs perfectly with their white rice that I am more than satisfied to eat the white rice. China Wok is one of my favorite places to get General Tso's chicken. The restaurant is locally run and the owners are very friendly. The inside has a fair amount of seating. I have never seen all of the booths occupied so there is almost always seating inside. The food comes out quickly and is piping hot when it is served. The food is always fresh and delicious. If you are looking for a place to get your Chinese food fix, look no further than China Wok. read more

This is my local go-to when I've done a long run or bike ride and need to replenish lots of carbs. They always have your order ready 10 minutes after you call (15 if they're swamped). Their consistency is their best quality- you always know what to expect. My favorites: moo goo gai pan, teriyaki chicken, garlic chicken, and bean curd w/veggies. The egg rolls and crab rangoon are good appetizers. Their pork fried rice isn't oily/greasy like some places. This is the only acceptable Chinese in town. I've never had any issue with my food being cold, as I've had with every other take out or sit down restaurant in this town. They cook to order, even when I call-in an order it's still hot and, more importantly, fresh. Best Chinese in Lebanon. I've tried the shimp and chicken in garlic sauce and the shrimp in lobster sauce. All three were delish and very hot (temperature). China Wok charged 1.00 extra for mushrooms in vegetable chow mein and did not include rice with the order. My coworker ordered Mongolian beef without vegetables and received a pound of slimy onions garnished with beef strips.
