You can't go wrong with chicken right? Lunch was calling me and I narrowed it down between here and one other place. The plethora of Sauces available led me in! I'm a dipping lady so tenders and fries it was so I can try many flavors. I placed my order and gave my name and waited for my turn. Very friendly staff who happily answered my questions when it came to fey seasoning. Very open space with many tables. Big TVs to watch the game! The tail end of the Clemson Kentucky game was on. But go Gamecocks The sauce station was nice. Fully equipped with containers and lids. I decided on the standby honey Mustard, Ranch, Asian BBQ, and the signature house sauce. The tenders wete of great size and the fries plentiful. Like plentifulllllll. The cajun seasoning I decided on was great. Not too salty at all. Absolutely insane! Occasionally I'll come up to Bozeman for errands. Today after running around I had such a specific craving for buffalo chicken and coleslaw. When I passed the sign of super Chix I went online to check out the menu. These were some of the best chicken strips I've ever had in my life. The chicken was juicy and tender, and perfectly tossed in the buffalo sauce that I have requested. I also requested a side of their signature sauce. The signature sauce is very honey. Mustard inspired. So if you're into honey mustard, you'll definitely enjoy the signature sauce. The coleslaw is made in house, and it is not too runny and it's not too dry. The flavor is perfect. It's tangy And crisp. Now of course I had to try the custard. I mean it's advertised in the sign with the chicken! I really didn't need a pint however, ordering online I couldn't find the option for a smaller size. No complaints. The custard is absolutely out of this world however, I just need to control myself . I was excited to try the food and upon entering the restaurant 1 one of the owners noticed my service dog and immediately told me no ani allowed I asked her if she to look again as she is a clearly marked and well behaved as federal required . she then told me that she doesn't care she owns the trans NO animals are allowed period and was told to leave . I did but decided to return and ask for the corporate contact because they are violating my rights the male owner said he owns the store and he's not giving me the contact information. I ordered the food on Uber priority. It was supposed to take 20 to 35 minutes. It took an hour. And it didn't appear it was because of a lack of drivers, it would appear that my food just simply sat at the restaurant for at least 30 minutes. When my food arrived all of it was cold, the cheese sauce was inedible and hard. I tried to call multiple times to get a status update on my order, but none of the phone numbers they have listed work. I came to Super Chix to try the frozen custard. The frozen custard is pretty good, not as good as can be found in the frozen custard capital of Milwaukee, but when in Bozeman what can you expect? First time we've ever been to Montana, and this place caught our eye, given that we enjoy chicken sandwiches and this was a place we've never tried. We had the chicken sandwich and the chicken tenders, and they were really good. The chicken sandwich was probably the best we've ever had, and the tenders were damn good too. The thing with fried chicken is that it's really easy to end up with chicken that's just super greasy and oily and makes you end up hating yourself after you eat it - like kfc. But the chicken here is not greasy at all and the chicken is still moist and flavorful. On top of all that, the dipping sauces are really tasty. All of them are good, but my favorites are probably the signature sauce and the Korean bbq sauce. The Nashville hot sauce was good, but I know if I ate too much it'd give me firebutt so I didn't have too much of that. Review for those who travel so I'm comparing to other restaurants in other cities. Overall I give them four stars as the staff was able to accommodate my requests easily. They were working hard and their ability to address my request was sincerely appreciated. Had the Simple and the Korean BBQ fried sandwiches. Both sandwiches were tasty. You will need a wash up after the Korean BBQ sandwich as it's drippy. Definitely not a eat in the car sandwich. Ensure you grab napkins while you wait as they do not put them in the bag for you. Overall sandwiches were 3 stars as they were on par with a Chick-Fil-A. They are bigger than a CFA sandwich. Tasty but no serious crunch like Popeyes or Bok A Bok chicken. Edit: I went back as asked to be fried extra crispy. It does improve it but the batter just won't give you that real crunch. I think the toppings on the Korean BBQ did more masking of flavor instead of adding to it. Good but a bit too much. Next visit, I'll see if they can do a longer fry on a Simple to give it more crunch and focus flavor on the chicken. Fries were generous. Edit: skip the fries and get the coleslaw! The custard shakes are the standout here. Made with tasty custard and deep chocolate deliciousness. This is the closest I've gotten to a Wisconsin Culver's style shake or original NYC Shake Shack Madison Park location custard shake on the West Coast. read more
