I ordered three giant subs for pick up from this location and made sure to remove the vinegar and oil from one because that person is picky. They were almost ready when I arrived. I used the restroom and it was clean. There were also a couple of tables outside to sit at but unfortunately they were all in the sun with no shade. When we pulled them out to eat later there was vinegar and oil on all of them so one of them got tossed immediately. The others were ok but the bread was a little soggy and the provelone was a dry and getting hard around the edges. Terrible service waited almost 45 minutes for my hot sub to be made 20 people already got theirs and left. Best thing to come out of Jersey since Bruce Springsteen. Can you believe these people crying about being delivered the wrong variety of chips? Or being ignored for 16 seconds while the 18 yr old college student finishes making a sub over a scalding hot stove? Sounds like Nathan R does not get a lot of Lays in life in general. Anyway these are essentially kids doing a great job making food for clearly the most discerning food critics in the world. My experience was great. My sandwich was perfectly prepared by a very gregarious staff member named Ellie. She greeted me immediately as I walked in and was very helpful in making my menu choice and incredibly well groomed. Oh My God What a pain in aaz Order online which is a crappy app, really horrible Only to find out that the order by numbers on the app DON'T MATCH THE NUMBERS IN THE STORE!! BIG GROUP ordered online to make it easy, ha ha ha and the poor person who went there to pick up the orders did they have to wing it and come up with a sub for each person somewhat close to what they thought they already ordered!! What a dang nightmare No one ended up with what they wanted, online was already paid. Had to pay again for the new numbers and subs at the store, simply a nightmare all the way around. After playing two tough basketball games, my daughter was excited to get a sandwich from Jersey Mike's!!!! As we were walking to the table she dropped hers flat on the floor. She was so sad and felt so dumb. She was afraid I wouldn't buy her another one. I went up to the counter and ordered another and the employee said it was free of charge!!! I was so impressed with the customer service and that the management gives their staff the freedom to offer that to their guests. We went to subway last week and were charged .60 extra for some shredded cheese on a turkey and cheese sub with no vegetables ( my youngest likes a plain sandwich) The employee was afraid he would get in trouble. I don't know what took me so long to try Jersey Mikes but I finally did and then I came here 2 more times the same week. They slice the meat when you order it I don't know if anyone else doing that but it makes for a dang good sandwich. I had a lousy experience there today. I ordered 5 sandwiches and the guy taking the order didn't write everything down, he said "we'll work it out at the end," meaning the additions at the end of the line. However, another guy decided to get involved and he sacked up the sandwiches without asking if I wanted anything on them. When I asked about it, instead of offering to fix things, he blamed me for not telling them how I wanted them. When I said that I had, still no offer to fix things, just an idiotic stare. My expectations were high going into Jersey Mike's because last year I consistently went into the one in Lake Oswego, OR and they did amazing. At the Oregon Jersey Mike's the money you spend on a sandwich at this chain was worth the amount of meat and the exceptional service. At the Jersey Mike's here in Bozeman the sandwiches had paper thin slices of meat and even then you only get a few per sandwich (by the way I've been to this one twice with the same results). It's kind of ridiculous for the price given that you can go to pickle barrel and easily get three times the amount of meat for the same price. The only saving grace was the employees were friendly. We decided to try them out for an office lunch for 12 noon the next day. The person who took our order said they needed 24 hours and it was already 2pm. Even though they made us feel it was a big inconvenience they said we could still call in the order. Upon 12 noon the next day after 15 mins past we called to see if they were on their way and they said they forgot to make the sandwiches. This was a lunch for 15 people. Super disappointed. My kids like to stop here. They usually eat all of their food which is a big bonus for us. Nothing special to the sandwiches, but they're good. We like to watch them make our sandwiches from start to finish and they slice the meat and cheese right in front of you. Only a few little things I have complaints about. 1)The ice machine definitely needs to be cleaned, we always end up with black things in the ice. I have not used ice there the last 2 times because of this. I did tell them the first couple of times we were there. They obviously didn't listen. 2)The root beer is not for us, no one in my family likes it and we are root beer people. 3) Every time we're there the CO2 is not working, so we have flat soda. I grew up in Bay Head, NJ and went to Pt. Pleasant Beach High School and ate at the original Mike's Subs almost every day for lunch. Having moved to Bozeman 16 years ago I was thrilled when I heard a Jersey Mike's opened in Bozeman. By far the BEST and most authentic sub sandwich in town. They cook their own roast beef on the premises and make their own sub rolls, the closest thing to an authentic sub this side of New Jersey. If you have it Mike's Way which is very tasty make sure they don't put on too much vinegar and oil. Simply an experience issue with the new sub makers in town.
