The bagged up seafood boil. (My other pics didn't come out )

First note: this is a completely different company than the other Juicy Seafood. Service was friendly and efficient. The establishment was clean and seating was comfortable. They have various daily combo specials on the menu but we were allowed to pick whatever one we wanted this day. The food was delicious and we'll def be back.

We went here for Valentine's Day. Tried to make reservations but they only were accepting them for 6 or more people today. We waited about 45 mins. The hostess and the wait staff were pleasant and kind. Our waitress was helpful and efficient and appropriately attentive to us. She suggested the Valentine's Day special. It was an excellent choice for us. Plenty of food and a better deal than if we got our own boils plus it included dessert something we don't usually order because we are too full from dinner. The tables are all booth seating so be mindful (except in the very front of the restaurant where everyone waited to be seated) it was extremely busy but once we were seated away from the front the atmosphere was quiet and soothing. They do have TV's placed throughout the restaurant which I didn't feel was necessary but others might enjoy. I did see supplies for each table (the bibs gloves etc) piled up near the bar area which I'm hoping was just for the busy night. The bar area was full. For such a busy night our food was so delicious right amount of seasoning for us. One thing I did appreciate is there were food options for the non seafood lovers and children making it a place most could come and enjoy a meal together. Highly recommend.

This is just my personal thoughts but it was not good. First off previously to arriving we were not informed that tables over 6 have to pay 18% gratuity, only when we had already arrived. Speaking of which out reservation was at 7 and we got seated around 7:30. I have a severe seafood allergy and I got the popcorn chicken and French fries; The fries were hard and frankly just not good, but seeing as how it is a seafood place that part was good for others around me. Our waitress (Amber) was nice up until it got time to pay when we found out that each separate check has an automatic 18% tip, and not what the host told us (that it was added on to the whole bill and separated). When my 15 year old sister complained asking if it was absolute that she would have to pay that, she said "Y'all don't act your age." And when asking what she said she responded "15 and fucked up." It took 15 minutes and asking twice to just get a to go cup and I stopped eating 15 minutes in.

Honestly- this place really over delivered! Reviews are on point! This might have been one of the most flavorful seafood boils I've ever had, and the quality of the seafood was really on point! Highly recommend!

    Week end special

Food was ok but by the time you cracked crab legs your shrimp and rest of your meal was cold and with the exception of the crab legs everything tasted the same. Lobster tail was small and the scallops were a bit over done. The corn was old and chewy the potatoes were ok. Over all it was a bit pricy and I would probably spend my money somewhere else ....

the decor reminds me of an outback steakhouse, it's kinda all sorts of wood. the restaurant team were all. wry friendly. was greeted with a smile by everyone. i came in for dinner on a monday night. not packed and two birthday parties were happening. the birthday song came on twice. i sat down and ordered a beer and a combo boil. garlic bread came out, very dense bread, fresh, properly buttered and garlic-ed.. the boil came out. got the shrimp, alaskan king crab leg, and sausage. the flavor is there. it was also very salty... really Really salty. if i was the ocean i would invade Salty. overall i'm glad i tried but might look for another place if i'm ever in the area.

With at least 4 similarly themed restaurants in the area, I chose SCJS based on Yelp reviews and glad I did. I had never had a seafood boil previously and found it delicious, varied, and a new experience. I chose a make-your-own with no-head shrimp, clams and sausage. It comes with potatoes and corn. Also, got hush puppies as an appetizer and complimentary garlic bread. My daughters had similar combos and paella. We all enjoyed what we had but had far too much food. The portions are by weight and 3 half-pound selections really do add up! I'd go easier the next time. Service was efficient and friendly. Definitely worth a return trip.

    WEEKEND SPECIAL
    Trent T.

Spur of the moment taste for seafood I saw this place was close. There were only a few cars in the parking lot Saturday afternoon. Was greeted and seated immediately. I ordered the Weekend Special - Lobster tail, shrimp, and crab legs. Within 5 minutes of placing my order it was in front of me, and it was amazing! Everything was perfect. The restaurant is clean, the staff is attentive and the food was great. If I wasn't headed back to ATL tomorrow I would definitely be back. This place was awesome.

Stopped again a year later, still delicious with friendly service. Will go back soon.

We got the weekend special, king crab special, 2 lbs of crawfish, Snow Crab/Shrimp salad, side broccoli, kids sweet potato fries and chicken fingers, wine by the glass. Pros: Variety to choose from. Good environment. The veggies that were the cheapest somehow turned out to be the best tasting lol Cons: Crawfish were not fresh and the crabs were too salty as if the salt was used to preserve it. The service was slow: I am not sure if it's on the server as she just got triple sat when we walked in.

    $100 and we'll worth it !

I ordered the pasta and shrimp special, which was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. Unfortunately, my daughter is vegetarian and ordered the Gnocchi Rossi, which was quite disappointing. It lacked flavor and was very bland compared to my meal. The biggest downside of our visit was the service. We were trying to enjoy some quality mother-daughter time together, but our waitress interrupted us constantly--almost every time we took a bite. We repeatedly assured her that everything was fine, yet she continued coming back to the table. At one point, while we were still actively eating, she asked if we were ready for boxes. When I said no, she replied, "Oh, okay, you're just taking your time." It definitely felt like we were being rushed rather than encouraged to relax and enjoy our meal. To top it off, we were never offered dessert or after-meal options. Despite feeling a bit rushed and annoyed by the constant interruptions, we still left a good tip because the waitress was working hard and remained polite. Overall, the food was a mixed experience, the atmosphere was wonderful, but the service made what should have been a relaxing mother-daughter lunch feel hurried.

I'm very forgiving when it comes to a bad experience at a place I go to often. In the last couple of years I've had some really bad experiences where the food is just not good. Last year I door dashed an order that arrived cold. The manager did try to make it right but not without another manager being informed or any kind of log. I had tried the breaded fish. That was mediocre at best. Not memorable. Last night I gave it another chance. I ordered 10 Tullys tenders (because that is the ONLY reason to eat here.,) a potato soup, a peanut butter pie and the monkey strawberry shortcake thing. I got there and waited inside. My food came out, they checked it was right, took a payment and I drive my food 1.5 miles. I got it home and it was barely warm. There is no way my food would cool down that fast in that short amount of time. This isn't the first time I've done this. The chicken was crunchy but lukewarm. The chicken seemed a bit chewy and kind of fatty. Some of them were huge and others were skinny. There was no consistency. The soup was not hot either. There was no cheese or chives on it like I thought there would be. It was kind of water. It just wasn't that good. It wasn't terrible but it wasn't something thought I'd ever want again. I ordered the new strawberry monkey bread shortcake. It came with one little tiny ramekin of strawberries. A huge mound of fried tasteless bread I think and I asked for no ice cream but they forgot the whipped cream. It was 100% awful. It was gross. I'm not going to mince words. The only decent thing was the peanut butter mousse cake which is a sure thing. Three bad experiences in a row is enough to make me decide that I will not be going back.

Unfortunately, this Mother's Day 5/10/26 experience was disappointing enough that I felt compelled to leave a review. We had reservations for 3:30 PM on Mother's Day, and in the special request section of the reservation, I clearly specified that this was a Mother's Day celebration. I also requested a quiet or private booth and mentioned that my daughter is vegetarian. Upon arrival, we were seated upstairs directly next to what appeared to be an employee service area. We could constantly hear employees talking, dishes being washed or thrown around, and overall it was easily the loudest table in the restaurant. What made this more frustrating was that another couple seated next to us complained loudly about their table and caused a scene. Although staff initially explained the restaurant was full, they were eventually moved. Meanwhile, we had politely requested a better table in advance through the reservation system, yet because we were patient and understanding, it felt like we were simply ignored. Service throughout the meal was inconsistent and inattentive. It took quite a while before anyone took our drink order. The wine menu presented to me only included wines by the glass, despite the fact that I later saw servers bringing full bottles of wine and champagne to other tables. I wanted to order a bottle of champagne for the occasion, but by the time our waitress finally arrived, I didn't want to complicate things further. Another detail that stood out was the complete lack of acknowledgment for Mother's Day. I overheard our waitress enthusiastically wishing other tables a "Happy Mother's Day" and asking if they were celebrating anything special, yet she never once acknowledged me or our celebration. My husband ordered a piña colada and was told they could not make one, so he settled for a strawberry martini that was overwhelmingly sweet and unenjoyable. We chose not to complain. The food itself, as always, was excellent and truly the highlight of the evening. However, the service continued to feel rushed and impersonal. I was planning to order my favorite espresso martini after dinner, but instead the bill was simply dropped at the table without anyone asking if we wanted dessert or another drink. One employee who was handling bread and water service also made us feel rushed. While I was literally still chewing my food, she interrupted to ask, "Should I bag that for you?" It made me feel like we were being pushed out. I was also disappointed that despite specifically mentioning my daughter was vegetarian in the reservation notes, our waitress never offered vegetarian suggestions or asked about dietary restrictions. At most upscale restaurants, this level of attentiveness is expected. The most upsetting part of the evening, however, was what felt like dismissive and unprofessional behavior toward us as Latinos. My husband has an accent, and our waitress repeatedly pretended not to understand him. At one point, after commenting on his accent, she laughed and said, "Or maybe I'm deaf." We found this rude, uncomfortable, and inappropriate for a restaurant of this caliber. Ironically, despite the poor experience, I still tipped over 20% -- more than $100 from our table alone -- because I did not want to reinforce unfair stereotypes about Latinos not tipping. Black & Blue has always justified its upscale pricing through excellent food and outstanding hospitality, which is why this experience was so disappointing. While the food remains exceptional, the atmosphere has become extremely loud and chaotic, to the point where it reminded me more of Red Lobster than the elevated dining experience this restaurant once offered. I truly hope management takes customer service more seriously moving forward, because this visit was nowhere near the standard Black & Blue used to represent.

While planning our dinner party months in advance, the communication from Janine was excellent. She helped us develop a 4-course menu that was sure to have something for everyone, including vegan and allergy friendly options. Amy was our server for the evening, and she ensured we had everything we needed to enjoy our evening. The chairs in the Meyer's Den are wide and comfortable, the decor is dark and classy, and being in the basement away from the dining room made it very quiet and easy to converse with family. The room is rather spacious for 12 guests, but could also accommodate a few more people without feeling cramped. Out of the appetizers we selected, the Charred Octopus was very popular and everyone enjoyed it...even those that had never previously eaten octopus. The baby cauliflower dish was also a beautiful presentation, and quite large and enjoyable. The salads, particularly the Charred Hurricane salad, were nice light courses before the entree was served. As for the entrees, the filet mignon was a little on the dry side, but we really enjoyed the light and crispy spinach fritters that accompanied the beef. The salmon was a generous portion of medium rare fish, and there was lot going on with that dish - spicy cauliflower and za'atar potatoes that had some mixed reviews. Chicken wings were nicely spiced and no too saucy For the main we shared 2 steak frites- a bit more well done than the medium rare ordered but tender and tasty, fries are great- bordelaise sauce didn't have the depth of flavor I expected. For dessert we shared the lemon poppyseed cake and chocolate mouse. The cake was light and Lemony with a hint of poppyseed flavor.
