I don't know why, but I always forget about this place. It's absolutely delicious. The fact that it's customizable is actually really nice and the add ons aren't crazy expensive. Their veggie burger is bomb along with a lot of the rest of the stuff. I've been here many times, and I'm likely going to come back many more times lol. The staff is always really nice. I wish I was rich so I could give them all a really hefty tip... maybe one day Today there were fries left over somehow.... And I was offered to take them which I felt oddly bad about doing.... But who wants to say no to free food and dang they were delicious.! so thank you. I wish I got that employee's name for a shout out. I don't like wasting food at all, so the food went into multiple people's bellies: two kids and my sister and myself. Amazing what the small things can do to someone's day. Came here for the second time! It was a Friday night, and there was a lot of seating available since it was past 9pm. The burgers were still so good! They had the pickles stocked, the tables were clean and not sticky at all. It seems like they keep this location super well kept. I'm impressed! Can't wait to come back and try new seasonal menus. read more

Always a fave for me after a burger hiatus. Finally tried the veranda location! Overall great experience - super easy to order, food came out promptly, ambiance was spacious and clean, servers were friendly and helpful with the kiosk when I had questions, and my super burger with cheese and grilled onions was hot flavorful deliciousness! My cookies and cream milkshake and soft serve swirl were refreshing decadence. My one gripe- I usually get the garlic fries and they were good but wish they were served hotter and crispier. Nah. Way overpriced, This is the last time I am coming here. Last time was the end of July and the food was the same quality of today. The fries and burgers are extremely expensive and greasy. No flavor. No salt on the fires. I paid extra for the garlic and cheese and it seemed lacking. $53 for a meal for two is crazy! The soda is just coke a cola so nothing fancy with that. Super Duper is pretty good! Overall I really love the space on the inside but especially the patio, it was very nice to sit outside. Oh and there's iPad ordering if you're feeling anti social. I ordered the Super Burger and it was pretty good. The patties tasted really fresh, same with all of the veggies. A good bun and good house sauce too. I just think the burger could use more seasoning, but it's definitely tasty. My wife and I also split the garlic parmesan fries and, they do not skimp on the parmesan, there was so much cheese they were so good! - Terrible Service, Missing Items & Sketchy Behavior I don't usually write reviews, but after being advised by David at the Berkeley location to leave one so corporate is aware of what's happening at this store, here I am. Let's start at the ordering kiosk. The wait was long, and the employee over the intercom was impatient and short with me from the start. When I placed my somewhat detailed order, she repeated it back incorrectly. I calmly repeated the order slowly -- she got it right the second time, but her attitude made the interaction unnecessarily stressful. I asked for french fries and was told they didn't have any. That's odd for a burger place. What made it even more suspicious is that as I waited at the window, I could clearly see two other employees putting what looked exactly like french fries into a bag. The moment she noticed me watching, she said something to them and they immediately moved to block my view. Draw your own conclusions. At the payment window, she held the card terminal at an angle where I couldn't read the screen. I had to ask her to turn it toward me. Not a huge deal, but combined with everything else, it added to an overall uncomfortable experience. My food then sat on the counter getting cold while she tended to the shake machine. When she finally handed me the bag, it was so soaked in grease that one of the burgers nearly tore through it. When I got home, I discovered: * No bacon on any of the burgers -- despite ordering and being charged for it * My son's avocado burger had only a few tiny slivers of avocado I tried calling the store to speak with a manager. No answer -- it went straight to a voicemail telling me to send an email. Really? I called the Berkeley location instead and spoke with David, who was genuinely helpful, professional, and apologetic. He encouraged me to leave this review so corporate is aware of the problems at this specific location. The food quality, the missing paid-for items, the suspicious behavior around the fries, and the complete lack of accountability at this store are all serious issues. It was my last weekend I will be working alongside my co-worker, so we decided to have our last DoorDash meal together. We spent some time browsing around the available locations and we both settled on Super Duper Burger. I know they have a really good soft serve, but for a delivery type of order, I know this would not be a good idea. Instead, I opted to try out their burgers instead. After browsing more of the menu, I decided on the Veggie Burger. Veggie Burger: This was a rather good burger. With all the basic fixings of lettuce, tomato, onions, and jalapenos, it felt like a decent burger. The veggie patty itself was not too dry and there was a nice mix of corn in it. Everything seemed to work for me and the bun had a fair amount of their house sauce to keep it moist. I forgot to say no cucumbers (i dont like them), so that was on me. I love Super Duper Burger. It's not always easy to score a good veggie burger, so when I find one, I know how to appreciate it. Layered with cucumbers, hummus, tomato, onion (which nope, I'm not ordering, but all the better for those of you who do!), and lettuce on top of a decadent and delicious veggie patty, this veggie burger's got what it takes to lure me in and keep me coming back. The staff at the counter are always sweet, but when you come in, there's plenty of those newfangled kiosk screens for you to place your order at, grab a little beep-beep digital button that alerts you when your order is ready for retrieval, and sit your patootie on down at one of the (ample) available chairs and tables. I've had very few experiences where they've mixed my order up (it's pretty much always involved raw onion being included, which I totally understand when they're in the midst of a busy lunch/early evening/whatever hour rush) and when they have, they've been incredibly apologetic and resolved it quickly. This is probably my #1 favorite burger joint in the area! Their beef and chicken burgers are SO good & packed with flavor. I especially like the spicy aioli in the chicken sandwhich. I just noticed that I haven't written a review for Super Duper and we've been going here for years. Yesterday, we went to superduper and ordered the seasonal truffle burger with garlic fries. We usually order the veggie burgers and garlic fries because the garlic and cheese on top of the fries is just delicious and when you get the dip, it just changes the flavor profile of each of the fries. The truffle burger would have tasted better if it had more truffle flavor like they do at Shake Shack. Unfortunately, this burger was very oily and greasy because of the truffle oil that didn't have enough truffle flavor. And then the portobello mushrooms that were sliced on top. They could've been diced more or just left as an entire shell. I just know that I'm not ordering that again. read more

Such a pretty location, you walk up to the restaurant and it has a nice outdoor area filled with tables if it's a nice sunny day. Which it was for me when I visited. I think it's a shame they don't have a mobile app, but I was able to order from their website and pick up my order at the expected time I was going to be there as my lunch is only an hour. My main purpose for this visit was to grab that new Sherryeatsworld burger which had chilli crisps, fried onions and pickled cucumbers. A big deal too as I've never heard a food influencer get their own burger. It's also rare to see asian inspired ingredients in your everyday burger. With every bite you could taste all these flavors and I feel like the chili crisps really brought out a unique heat that wasn't too much. In addition to the burger I also got fries and I had no idea they were this crispy, honestly these might be my new favorite. My friends were telling me about this place so we went there for dinner one night. It's funny because I always parked near it but never went inside. What was "Super Duper" ? Well now I found out that it's an awesome place. Love the smashburger style and how everything is focused on cleaned eating. The buns were light and soft. Their ketchup and mustard tasted different, but in a food way. And I love how they make it OK for adults to order kid-sized milkshakes. I got the coffee milkshake and it was really good. It's a fairly simple menu, but I like that. It's not overwhelming and you can easily decide what you want to order. While waiting for our order, I munched on some pickles. I placed a big order via door dash for my job, as we do a birthday luncheon every month. Super duper was the choice because they usually are really good and have great options. I experienced an abundance of issuers while there and I know that I for sure will not be returning. 1. They do not answer their phone- I tried to call and speak to someone regarding my order to make sure that everyone's order was separate and that it all made sense. They never answered for the two days I tried to call them. When I went it, it was not busy at all and it was prime lunch time. It doesn't make sense. 2. I ordered through DoorDash because they have the option for everyone to order separate and for you to put your name in so that the restaurant is aware and the person picking up the order. So as with most burger places, everyone ordered something different and had modifications which is another reason we went with DoorDash, because of the split. THEY PUT EVERYTHING TOGETHER. How am I supposed to know what a burger with jack cheese and a burger with cheddar are supposed to look like? They did not even make the burgers, which was the LEAST they could do. This was a $400 order mind you. 3. The store was extremely uncooperative, combative AND took not ounce of responsibility. I spent 30 minutes correcting their mistakes. My orders were missing paid condiments. I had to get my own to go pickles that were ordered. It was all a very stressful situation The manager was extremely unhelpful and had no empathy or couth. I first was introduced to Super Duper in San Francisco. I was pleasantly surprised when they came out to Concord cause it's closer to home. The wait is to be expected however I wish the burgers were a little bit better made. I'm used to that juicy fresh still pink in the center meat and the last time I came, I got a mini burger with cheese, it just didn't seem like there was any love that was put into it. The avocado which I pay extra for was not really ample and the garlic fries had a small piece of garlic, which didn't really cover all of the fries. I went through the drive-through and didn't see all of this until. Of course I get home and start eating, but I did put a sour taste in my mouth for next time. Visited this location after trying super duper in the emeryville location. This one is convenient because it has a drive through. However, it was not as good as the other location. The food was good, but lacking a bit of flavor. The homemade pickles need a little bit more tang for my taste. Their special sauce is not so special, tasted like plain mayo. We much prefer a charbroiled burger over grilled for better flavor but still, a very good burger. Fries $4 are ok. The star of the show for us was the Straus soft serve cones dipped in chocolate, they knocked it out of the park! What a finish!
