The restaurant is huge! There are a few outdoor tables on the side of the restaurant and a massive space indoors. When it's crowded, it can get noisy. Service was good. No complaints - fast and efficient. The menu was okay. It was a challenge to find something for someone with dietary restrictions though.

I didn't know quite what to expect from Gott's Roadside, but I certainly did not expect them to be so allergen friendly. I was able to order my hot dog with a lettuce wrap instead of a bun, as well as veggies with hummus and remove the bell pepper. The fries were extremely tasty and about a step up in my opinion, from In and Out, and the smoothie was quite tasty. I also loved how well everything was packaged. Overall I'd say it's not the highest quality out there (I'd like to see them move to a better of a hot dog vendor), but I really liked the ability to accommodate and customize for allergies, so I'll absolutely be coming back.

I've been to a few of Gott's Roadside location. Sentimental fav is the original Taylor's Refresher in St Helena. My most visited is the Napa one. Tried Larkspur and this was my first visit to the Walnut Creek one. The food was delicious and ready in an appropriate time. The counter was friendly and helpful while the other staff members kept the tables and grounds clean. It ought it was a bit loud but maybe I'm just getting more ornery LOL! Good experience.

I did a pick up order for sweet potato fries and it was kind of a long wait just for fries. It was busy inside of Gott's Roadside. On the other side of the restaurant there's a place you can pick up your order near the condiments and bar area. I would eat their sweet potato fries again.

Came here for a quick bite to eat after work! Gott's Roadside delivers California comfort food done right. The ahi burger was the standout -- seared rare, fresh, and not overpowered by the bun. Fish tacos were light and well-balanced, nothing greasy or heavy about them. The Brussels sprouts were a nice surprise (crispy, slightly charred, addictive), and the garlic fries were generously seasoned, but some soggy bottoms. Finished with the soft serve swirl, classic and satisfying. Lines can be long at peak times but the food moves fast and is worth the wait. Great spot for a casual, quality bite.

We chose this spot over others in the area for our 31st anniversary dinner because it had easy seating with no long wait -- and it turned out to be a great choice! I had the veggie burger while my husband and daughter enjoyed the chicken burger and fish tacos with garlic and cheese fries. Everything was fresh and flavorful, especially the garlic fries and margarita refresher. Service was friendly even during a busy dinner rush, and the cozy wooden tables with soft music made the ambiance feel warm and relaxing. Only downside was the cheese fries were a bit soggy. Loved that they also offer small ice cream scoops for dessert. Definitely coming back to try more vegetarian options!

Unfortunately, I have no photos to show for our meal. That's because I never got my salad and the waffle fries took 30 minutes and were not as described. The mangers were very nice and accommodating given the poor service. They normally have the best chicken kale Caesar salad. Today may have just been an off day. I will return- maybe not on a weekend until the season is over

I've been to a few locations now, but this one was really good. The food was yummy. I got the Gruyère and Onion burger with sweet potato fries and fried Brussels sprouts. The sides are so good and the burger was perfect! We got our food after 15 minutes even with busy restaurant. The inside was spacious and bathrooms clean. Parking is difficult.

Got takeout from Gott's on a Friday night and was really satisfied with it! The crispy chicken sandwich really hit the spot. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The quality of the ingredients really stands out you can taste the difference. Service was quick and friendly, even during a Friday rush, and the space was clean and comfortable with plenty of seating inside and out. Parking can get a bit tricky depending on the time of day, but it's worth it. Gott's continues to deliver that elevated roadside experience delicious food, thoughtful service, and a fun, California-casual vibe. Definitely a solid go-to in downtown Walnut Creek!

I thought Gotts was delicious. The patty on my burger was thick and good quality ground beef (I wish it would have had a bit more seasoning). The bun was nice. The shake was decently thick. Noah, at the register, was very pleasant and recommended adding PB to the cookies and cream shake - the Mister loved it. My aunt ordered a salad. The lettuce looked really fresh and the portion size was nice. There was a decent amount of seating available inside and outside. Its a family friend place so it was a bit loud. The food came out quickly. I like this place for group meetings so everyone can pay separately and there was more than adequate parking on a busy Saturday. I will definitely return.

big fan of Gott's, so i knew i had to try the walnut creek location! FOOD we tried the gruyère and carmelized onion burger as well as the garlic and regular fries. the burger had decent flavor just felt like it was missing something! would've been nice to have some lettuce or produce to accompany the patty, cheese, and onions. the garlic fries were amazing and the regular fries had the perfect crunch! SERVICE you order at the registers and pick up your food; just like at any regular Gott's! AMBIANCE super chill vibes, open seating with picnic style seating for the larger parties. PARKING huge adjacent parking garage and minimal street parking. will definitely be back in the future and excited to try something new the next time i visit!

Didn't eat the food there, but it was very busy. We decided to get dessert and a soft serve dip cone. It was really good. Service was fast and the cone was good.. can't comment on the food quality and how it taste, but the soft serve was good in my book.

Gott's in Walnut Creek is bustling on Friday evenings! I met up with a few friends for dinner, and we eagerly joined the line that stretched out the door. The line moved quickly, and the cashier even offered me a glass of ice water while I waited for my food. (Pro Tip: you can order your dessert ahead of time and get a voucher to pick it up later, or you can order dessert later at the pickup window.) There was still plenty of seating, so I sat at a booth while I waited for my order to be prepared. After about 15 minutes, my order was ready. I got the fried avocado tacos because they sounded intriguing, but I'll admit that I wasn't a fan. The blue corn tortillas were already soggy by the time I got back to my table, and they tore through as soon as I picked them up. There was way too much cabbage, and I ended up digging in with a fork and knife and leaving behind much of the soggy tortilla and cabbage. On a positive note, I enjoyed the fried avocado, which was both crispy and creamy - and it paired well with the chipotle mayo sauce. I think the taco was meant to resemble a fish taco, and I'll admit that it was a creative dish. I saved room for dessert and could not pass up the Strauss Creamery vanilla soft serve. To spruce things up, I ordered my soft serve with the butterscotch shell (similar to Magic Shell). The soft serve was simple yet decadent - and the line to order dessert was much shorter!

I got a gluten free bun but I think the fries must have cross contamination because I had a pretty severe reaction after eating there and I rarely have problems eating out.

The fries are thin-cut and crispy, the kind you keep picking at after you're full. Staff was attentive and actually helpful, not just going through the motions. Came in on a weekday and it wasn't crowded, so service was quick. They've got 80s music playing, which set a nice low-key mood for lunch. There's outdoor seating if you want it, and they take Apple Pay, which is handy. The drink selection is better than you'd expect for a burger place. Decent beer list plus a few whites and reds, so it works for a casual dinner too, not only a quick lunch. Nothing here blew me away enough for five stars, but nothing went wrong either. It's a reliable spot to grab a good burger without much fuss. Go on a weekday if you want it quiet, and get the Classic. The fries are worth adding.

The Mona burger tasted okay, the onion and meat and bun were all soft and mushy, so it was nice to have the spicy curly fries to complement the texture of the food. The milkshake was the best part! I ordered via the Kiosk, but the fries had me scan a QR code and answer some questions. After that, I waited for about 10 ish minutes before I got my food. The ladies were very nice and helpful, and they took care into preparing my food. Garden Burger: I enjoy the impossible meat when I can and this burger was huge. Besides the patty, I also got avocado, the other standard fixings and a fried eggplant. They also had mayo and bbq sauce as my spread. I don't know how, but I was able to eat the whole thing in one setting. It was juicy (as juicy an impossible burger can be) and delicious. The sauce held everything together and the extra spicy mayo I used for dipping brought the extra heat I needed. Overall, a delicious burger. Bulgogi Fries: This was complementary due to their promo and this was a huge portion. They made the bulgogi meat fresh to order and the same with my fries. Their plating was phenomenal. Overall, the fries were crispy and the sauce and meat were delicious. Overall, I can see myself coming here again. I should try a normal burger or I can try their chicken burger next time.

What I don't understand is why I'm charged an additional $2.50 for the lettuce wrap when I'm not even getting the bun. If you're taking something away, what's the justification for adding an extra charge? I could understand a modest upcharge, but $2.50 for a few leaves of lettuce is hard to justify. I can buy an entire head of lettuce for about that price. What bothered me even more was that no one mentioned the charge when I placed my order. It wasn't until I picked up my food and saw the receipt that I realized I had been charged extra. Customers deserve to know about additional charges before they order, not after the fact. When I politely asked why there was a $2.50 charge, the employee simply looked at me and said, "I don't know." There was no explanation, no offer to ask someone else, and no attempt to address a perfectly reasonable question. That level of customer service was just as disappointing as the surprise charge. The burger was excellent, but this experience left a bad taste in my mouth. At this point, I don't plan on coming back. Or maybe I'll just bring my own lettuce next time. Better yet, just give me the burger without the bun, and I'll wrap the damn thing myself when I get home.
