Unless you're an important  VIP executive and have a well versed knowledge of the limo industry, steer clear of this company. I contacted them to get a quote for a limo for my kids prom. Everything was fine, the price seemed fair and we moved forward. When the day arrived, a black SUV pulls up instead of a limo. When i contacted them to ask the reason there wasn't a limo there, i was told that i don't understand the definition of what a limo is these days and i should have known from the price what kind of car i was getting. I'm not a frequent limo rider but when i think limo for prom, I'm not picturing a black SUV.  The rest of the unprofessional interaction played out through text (pictures attached). I asked why would i pay for a limo when a SUV showed up, and i was told the miscommunication was my fault. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect a limo when i called a limo service.  For anyone thinking of using this company, just know they don't even have any limos available. It is only SUVs so if you're not an important doctor, lawyer,  or executive then don't expect anything else from them.  I truly feel i was ripped off with the old bait and switch. The plan was to give my kid and their friends a memorable experience for this once in a lifetime senior prom. The service was provided and i was willing to pay an adjusted amount for the lack of a limo since at that point, we had no other options. However, when we texted about it the next day, Dave the owner was a wittle crabby from his trip to Europe (which he had to mention as if it pertained to the conversation what so ever). He was completely unreasonable, and accusatory. He called me cheap and went on and on about his important clients and demanded full payment because i was dumb to expect a limo from a limo service.  I'll let the pictures speak for themselves but if you're just normal folk, don't bother with fireman's LIMO service. We also used them for airport transportation and I was glad to hear that they also serve Summit County and Akron Canton Airport (CAK). I had a few questions and the owner responded to my emails directly. Our driver sent us a text message when she was on her way and arrived 20 minutes early. We had a clean Lincoln MKT and water bottles were provided. Upon our return to CLE, we received a text from our driver and we're told which door to use. Quick and easy! We were returning from a long trip in Europe and so it was great to have a ride waiting for us. Thanks Renee for the friendly service to and from the airport! We will be using Cleveland Taxi Limo for all of our future transportation needs in the Cleveland area.

After spending over a thousand dollars for wedding party hair and makeup, it did not even last until the pre-ceremony pictures because of how hot and sweaty everyone on the bus was. It was so uncomfortable, and was a horrible experience. To try to fix the air, the bus driver tried to call the company, who did not help at all, and we were instructed to call back after the wedding to request a refund. After the wedding, we did call and were not granted a refund after lots of back and forth with the company. If you value your wedding day look (hair, makeup, etc) DO NOT book Cleveland Taxi Limo. If something goes wrong, they will do nothing to fix it.

Instead, the driver arrived in a Sprinter van that seated only about 10 people max--far short of what we'd reserved and paid for. The company admitted they "sent the wrong vehicle" and apologized, but made zero effort to fix the problem--no replacement bus, no partial refund on the spot, nothing. This ruined our plans, forcing half the group to scramble for alternative rides (Ubers, etc.) and splitting everyone up. To make matters worse, we expected at least a discount or comp given the major inconvenience. Instead, they charged us $770--$70 over the agreed $700 price. When we questioned the overcharge and rude responses, they refused to negotiate or refund anything, just saying "we'll get you a deal next time." There won't be a next time. Strongly avoid this company--plenty of better options in Cleveland that actually deliver what you book. I'd actually prefer walking to a destination in a Cleveland December than using this company again. 0/5 stars - Save yourself the headache.

The driver showed up 45 MINUTES late and it nearly ruined our carefully-timed arrival at the surprise party. The second time we used them (DUMB, JULIA. So. Dumb.) -- they drove us to a wedding. I agreed upon the return pick-up time as 12:30am about a week in advance. The dispatch had the order. Then, the driver and I agreed verbally when he dropped us off. "See you at 12:30a.m." Welp. 12:30 a.m. came and went. I had the driver's cell number. He said "You called and said to come get you at midnight. I was there and you weren't." Umm... NO I DIDN'T. Then I called dispatch - which provided little to no help. We eventually had to call a cab to come get us an hour away from home. UNACCEPTABLE. Truly I have never in my life received such terrible customer service. Your job is to drive people and pick them up. THAT'S ALL YOUR COMPANY DOES. And you cannot even do that successfully. Fail. Epic fail.

This was by far the most friendly, thorough, and best priced of all the limo services I called in Akron. And I called most of them. And when I did call, I was walked through each step of the process, everything was priced up front (and he even told me the recommended tip range), and the quote was far and away better than every other service I contacted. Pat showed up a half hour early, was friendly and cordial, even all the way until 2am when he dropped us off after the bachelor party, in which he took us to three different places and waited nearby while we ate dinner and trotted around Cleveland. When they say their service sets them apart, they mean it. I will unquestionably use these guys again if I need a limo in the Akron/Canton/Cleveland area. Total five stars.
