The Northtowne store is five stars (see my recent review). The Reynolds Corners store rates only about 4. There is still a tremendous selection of equipment, but it is not as extensive as the other store. Almost anybody could get a great workout here. If one equipment manufacturers, say, shoulder press, machine doesn't quite fit your bio mechanics, there are five or six others to choose from! The dumbbells only go up to about 75 pounds, but there are at least four pairs at any given weight. You should never have to wait to get the pair that you need. Why 4 instead of five stars? I will say, that compared to the other store, this one is not as clean or well-maintained. It's not so dirty that it grosses you out, but, it's noticeable. The equipment, albeit fewer choices and fewer free weights, is still very usable. One membership gets you access to both the Northtowne store and the Reynold's Corners store. This, is a damned good deal. read more

The Reynolds location is more low key but still has great variety of equipment and spaces. I do have a lot of complaints regarding their maintenance and cleanliness. Lots of dust everywhere, and its particularly the thickest inside the ventilation grates of their ceilings. Their vent shafts in the bathrooms/locker rooms are SO clogged with dust That the room remains humid and musty. The carpet flooring in the aerobic room is gross and due for either a deep cleaning or flooring remodel. many pieces of Equipment are out of service with long down times. Lastly, the turnstile is slower than molasses and needs like 5-10 seconds to process you through. read more

I wouldn't even give this disgusting place 1 star if I had the choice. The memberships are ridiculous, it's filled with old people, it is disgustingly filthy, stinks, nothing inside is taken care of, locker rooms have roaches in them all the time, they let homeless people in to use locker rooms, putting members at risk, the pool will make you sick as well as the hot tub, enter at your own risk. The owners, management staff and employees do not care about any of it and will avoid complaints. Avoid this nasty place like the plague. read more

I have been a member for about six months. There are not a lot of friendly people here including staff members. There is always equipment or the pool that is under repair or malfunctioning. The weekend hours are terrible. Much needed cleaning is neglected. On the other hand, it is cheap and close to my house and usually not crowded. People come and go as they try out other facilities so you know get to know many of them. The tanning and nutrition bar (protein drinks) is a real plus. read more

The atmosphere at this gym is friendly, more so than Planet Fitness. It is a locally operated gym; pick this over a big chain any day. The unique features are the walking track, pool, and sauna. They also have a shake bar and tanning. Look your best feal your best at super fitness. read more

Despite amazing options of workouts in this gym, I so not have the time to use it. Had a baby and husband works full time. I also moved 9 miles out of the way and it's pretty much a 20-minute drive. Do not sign a contract with them!!!!! I somehow agreed to a 3-yr contract for $20/mo. (I KNOW I signed for TWO years!!!). So 7 months after I signed the contract, I talked to the manager to cease those monthly payments and signed a suspension on my account. 3 months later, I noticed there were still charges on my credit card account. I then called them to complain and they said: only way to get out of the contract is to either 1) show proof of address living 50 miles away from the gym or 2) have a doctor's written note that prohibits me from using their facility. Regardless of not able to use the gym and I don't plan to in the near future, I am still being sucked dry $20 a month until my contract is up (July 2012 to July 2015). I don't have any complaints about this gym. They have tons of weights and cardio equipment. They offer a variety of cardio classes including Yoga. And they have a pool and sauna. What else can you ask for? Ok Since you ased. They offer FREE personal training and the gym is super clean. There is always a staff person at the door to welcome you in and plenty of maintenance staff around, keeping the place clean. read more

I have been a member for about 1 1/2 years. I love going to workout but, I get irritated when I cannot sync my phone to the tv's. There are radio station call numbers on each tv yet it won't work...very frustrating.... Also the showers.....out of 6-7 showers. ... Only one of them have good pressure and when more than one person uses the shower. The water temperature drops....yuk. Cold showers.... read more

Contracts are ridiculously long and they won't let you cancel they charge you a maintenance fee on top of your monthly payments and they throw on a auto renew feature even when you state you don't want it to auto renew so make sure you get that they turned it off in writing read more

Gym has gone down hill since I started going here, not even a year ago. Pool and hot tub are gross and never cleaned. Management doesn't seem to care and just spends most of their fine hiding in the office. Most of the staff is young and do not know how to train people properly yet they are set up as trainers. Bathrooms are gross, the worst one is in the kids zone. The equipment is falling apart or breaking because it is second hand and old. read more

My sister has been a member of Super Fitness for years. When I came to town to visit for the holidays I asked her if she could get a pass to Super Fitness since it was closer to where I was staying than Anytime Fitness, which I am a member of. The gym graciously extended me a pass for the entire time I was here. I'm very thankful they did. I found the staff at this gym to be friendly and accommodating. I had absolutely no hassles. As was previously stated there are "amazing options" for working out here. It is a comprehensive gym complete with pools, showers, locker rooms, and shops. I worked out on machines that I've never worked out on before. I was even able to target some areas of my body that are challenging to get to at my gym. In fact, I've already put in requests at my gym to bring in a few of the machines I worked out on. I don't know about their contract policies but I do know that if you can't find a machine or service here to do what you need to do, it probably doesn't exist. read more

I've been a member for a few years, primarily to use the pool. I stopped going due to personal reasons for a few months. She I went back, the personnel had changed. The gym was not as inviting and the facility just didn't seem as well maintained. But the pool. What a mess! There was dirt and "stuff" laying on the bottom. The walls had a green tinge to them. And no way was I getting into the whirlpool. I called the manager a few days later and complained. He told me that the pool was cleaned weekly and that if I didn't like it, don't use it. I formally complained to the headquarters requesting my contract be cancelled and was told, in so many words, that they upheld their end of the contract and was obligated to pay. I have never set foot in the place again and have since joined a local facility that costs only a few dollars more a month and cleans their pool nightly. read more

They have so much equipment! It gives you so many options for whatever workout works best for you. The staff is always friendly. Paying a year at once is a convenient option and saves money too. Very happy with this gym. read more

I've been attending this gym for 3 years now and I can honestly say a lot of things have changed and not for the good. The customer service is piss poor, every time I walk in the workers at the counter just ignore me and they are constantly on their cell phones. The locker room smells horrific almost like they don't even put in a effort to clean them. Unfortunately it seems like the staff doesn't care anymore. This gym is filthy dirty. It smells like dirty locker rooms and the pool smells heavily of bleach not chlorine and it will fry your hair. The hot tub will make your skin smell like old wet towels after getting out. It is spacious and has some equipment that is very old. Some of the machines look as though they are about to break and are not smooth in there function. I regret joining and will be happy when I can pay more for a quality gym experience elsewhere. read more

Stopped in Super Fitness for an orientation tour a few weeks ago and was given a 3 day guest pass to try out the facilities. My partner and I are currently paying a abnormally high amount for our current gym membership and decided to try Super Fitness out. The most annoying part is having to go thru the high pressure sales tactics with one of their membership reps. After finally getting thru this process we completed a workout. They do have lots of machinery in both the cardio and weight side but unfortunately being someone who does a lot of cardio during their workouts I was highly disappointed. I stepped onto numerous pieces of cardio equipment that had maintenance issues or needed maintenance. The free weight section and the overall weight section was great but when it comes to high pressure tactics, poorly maintained cardio equipment and overall feel of clealiness I don't recommend Super Fitness. read more

I worked out at this gym for a month without paying the gym@ least 3 times a week. You can workout here with a member for free any time for as long as you want. They allow independent personal trainers to bring their clients in as guests and use the gym to make a side profit. Why would I pay join this gym while everyone else is getting the same access for free? The restroom near the filthy pool smells like urine. The pool looks and smells deadly. read more
