A girlfriend and I are always looking for fun and different ways to move our body. She found this place that does the bungee workouts in Toledo. We found a class, paid via Venmo before the class and we were signed up. When we got there we checked in, got a cubby to put our things and got in line to receive all the instructions on how to get started. We got sized for the harness (which I will say when it's your first time, it's trial and error for sure) and then we're ready to go. It was a pretty intense workout and man was it fun! I can't remember the name of our instructor but it was the 1pm class on 3/9 and she was awesome! I wanted to like this place as I followed them on social media prior to purchasing classes. This gym is run down & not maintained & low class. Equipment is very old & some is beyond it's useful/safe life. The flooring is a trip hazard at the very least. The owner requested "secret santa" gifts from members to gift her gym equipment and more. My first visit was a busy holiday class. The employee I encountered on arrival was very rude & abrupt. I later found out this was the owner! I had registered & paid for the class ahead of attending. I was questioned immediately by the owner to "prove it". Though I arrived early as it was my first class I was not allowed to start on-time until I could retrieve the proof of the payment made directly to the gym. The gym owner refused to validate it in their system & instead required me to retrieve my phone to show her the payment made to her directly! Class was absolutely chaotic. I chalked it up to it being a high attendance class that they were not prepared for. I attended another class In Jan. Much to my disappointment it was the same chaotic unorganized & unsafe class. The owner was the instructor, however she was taking her own class & not attending to leading the class. Bizarre & unprofessional. I retrieved a physical gift certificate at the gym for a previous purchase. The balance remaining is $140. The gym owner is now refusing to honor the gift certificate. read more

Moving to Toledo from Florida was no easy task but through LBs I've managed to make more friends than I could ever hope for! I was in town visiting family and wanted to get a workout. I had done some research prior and found LB's via yelp & Facebook. I saw they offered classes in the morning and then not again until the evening. The classes were $5 which is a steal. I showed up for the 10am class on a Friday. I got there early to sign the waiver and pay for the class. The 9am class was finishing up so I got a little preview of the class. Once my class started I was a little confused on the set up but looked around to follow other people. You start with a warm up which is written on the wall in the front. The music was super loud and I could barely hear the instructor. When we started the class after the warm up, the instructor came to each group and told us what we would do first at our station. Apparently I was suppose to know all the stations because you do a station and move to the next one when you hear the buzzard. Nothing was labeled and the instructor wasn't close enough to ask what the next station was. I had people in my row asking me what to do next, ummm this is my first time. A lot of confusion.... Another issue was the bag work during the circuit. The instructor used the number system and if you didn't know it you won't know what to do. Example: 1 is a jab and a 2 is a cross. I train in Muay Thai, kickboxing and boxing so I was fine but I could see a newbie being completely lost. When I wasn't sure what to do on the bags during the circuit I would do my own combos. Also don't get my started on people with no proper form... Another thing to note is the shower situation. They do have showers but if you take the 10am class and need a shower afterwards you are screwed. I begged the front desk person and luckily she gave me about 20 mins to shower and dress. I was annoyed since I was rushed and there was no way I could go back to my mom's house to shower in time to meet up with a friend for lunch. In summary, you can get a good workout for $5. If you don't know what to do either ask or follow someone in group. Worst case, you just do your own thing. read more

I am a fan of LB's :) I've struggled with other gyms in the past feeling unwelcome and out of place but not here. I have only made it to a handful of classes thus far but they have a wide spread schedule with many different class options. My only wish is that the schedule changed a bit because for example low impact class may be at 7pm M-TH and it will remain that way...so if you cant make the 7pm class those days then you'll never be able to attend low impact. All in all though the classes are fun (so so fun) and you really get a workout. You are more than welcome to go at your own pace (and you honestly wont be judged for it). The classes and memberships are affordable. I love that they have drop in options meaning you can pay just 5-10 dollars at a time and buy individual classes if you don't want the membership. If I could I would take a class everyday at LB's - definitely recommend coming to check it out! read more

I worked out here twice while visiting my family in Toledo. If I still lived in town, I would take a class here EVERY DAY! Lindsay is so motivating and encouraging - everyone can work out at their own pace, but she also holds her classes accountable and pushes everyone to do their best. The classes here offer a 600+ calorie workout in just an hour for, at most, $5. The community aspect here is pretty great too - I felt welcome and supported right away. I'll definitely visit LB's on future trips to Toledo, and you should too. read more
