This place serves its purpose. Not that they're doing anything wrong, I just hate doing my laundry, but the familiar setting helps. The ladies that work there are very nice. They'll help you if you ask, but they're busy and not psychic so they won't know if you don't ask. It's usually clean but if you catch it right after a big rush, it only takes the guy a minute to get it back in order. We all can do better by cleaning up behind ourselves. The bathroom is clean, it could also be better if people were more respectful. You can use a card or cash. Machines aren't difficult to operate, just read the directions. If there's people around talking, it's because they're waiting, not loitering. If you want quiet, sit in your car. It's a laundromat for goodness sake? Great hours. Prices are comparable. This whole laundromat needs a serious deep clean. Almost every washer has mold build up inside of it. There is no AC and you have to fight for carts. This is the WORST laundromat in the city of Philadelphia! Their drop-off wash and fold services are highly unprofessional. I've given this establishment 3 chances before I decided to no longer give them my money. The very first time I used their drop-off service, I'm more than sure that they did not use any of the laundry detergent I gave them for my loads of clothing. I provided them with a scented Gain laundry detergent, and as we all know, Gain has a strong fragrance after washing your clothing. When I received my folded loads of clothing back, my clothing smelled like it hadn't even been washed. I made a complaint then and they offered to give me a discount the next time I used their services. Hesitated, I gave them a second chance and this time I had a bathroom rug that was destroyed in the dryer while using their drop-off device and the material from inside the bath mat came out through a hole and got on all of my other washed items. They failed to mention to me what had happened and just handed me back my items like nothing ever happened. They failed to mention that my rug had been damaged. Just this morning I tried going to them one final time for the sake of a last minute need to do laundry. I specifically was told by the staff Maggie, to drop off with her and that she'd ensure that my loads of laundry would be handled properly by her. I got to the laundromat at 8:00am this morning to find that the laundromat was COMPLETELY EMPTY. The laundromat was open, however, there was not any staff there. The drop-off counter had been locked up and completely left unoccupied. There was no manager or staff there to assist any guests. I waited for a half hour for someone to come and no one ever came to the counter/register. What blew my mind was the fact that customer's folded and bagged laundry and detergent was just out and in the open, not secured or locked away. So anyone could've came stole other customer's belongings without a laundromat staff being there. Highly unprofessional and just wrong. DO NOT USE THIS LAUNDROMAT!!! read more

I am so impressed with this laundromat! We needed to use a laundromat because my grandfathers washer machine isn't working properly. We came in to do a quick load and found out that they provide wash and fold services. You pay depending on the weight which is reasonably priced. The clothes were ready the same day (small load). The staff was attentive and showed great customer service. They did not skimp on detergent and softener either! We could smell it through the bag. My grandfather doesn't even care to have the washer replaced. He will be using this laundromat for everything that needs to be washed! You have gained a loyal customer. He's been getting his clothes dry cleaned for 40 years! read more

One of the better laundromats I have ever been to: The staff always keeps the room clean and is responsive to any request. The washers and dryers are filthy. They don't clean well at al! The attendants seems to spend their time behind the desk sitting in the back as if they're trying to hide. The attendant Fatima has a nasty attitude and very poor customer service! I put my clothes in a washer that had bleach already in it!! When I went to address the issue, I was met with resistance and not accountability on the part of the business! Her comment to me was "there's 65 washers in here and you expect us to watch them all? Yup! I sure do! Esp when they're sitting behind the desk on their laptops looking at videos instead of keeping the washers cleaned and checking to see if ppl removed their clothes, etc. there was a washer I needed to use but there was a dirty maxi pad in there. I wish I could give them a negative star. This place has gone absolutely downhill since they first opened. The bathrooms in a gas station are cleaner and they seem to be OK with this. I had my clothing damaged by one of their faulty machines, the manager had nothing but a nasty attitude to give me. The machine was obviously still open because it leaked water everywhere but she refused to acknowledge that something was wrong with the machine. It shouldn't have even started with water leaking the way it did because my shirt was caught in the door. I'm not giving them another dime of my money for them to tear my clothes to shreds. The people who work there don't wear masks. They pull them below their chins or take them off and yell to each other over various laundries. It is amazingly unsafe for them and everyone there. Then I noticed one of the unmasked workers went and hit their hand on maybe 10 machines; either they were bored or checking for temperature. Most customers wear their masks, but some don't. Was recently in the Philadelphia area and was in need of a laundry. Found this location, on City Avenue. They're open 24 hours which is super convenient. The facilities and machines were very clean. It was a little confusing at first, but was easy to figure out. There are multiple sized machines. The cost was very reasonable too. Definitely would recommend them. FILTHY!! There is trash, hair, carts, etc all over the place. The last time I went, the majority of the machines were either out of order or being used by staff (who spend a great deal of time in the corner behind the counter). Washing machines aren't cleaned, old or discarded clothes are left sitting in carts and folding tables aren't cleaned. I have continued to give it a chance over the last 2 years due to the proximity to my home, even coming at different times but this is more the norm then the exception. read more

This place is so dirty & filthy & it even has a foul smell. I went in & searched for a jumbo washer & there were 10 washers filled & done. They only have 3 Jumbo washers. I did find 1 open but the other 2 & about 8 other washers were all finished & no one was there to move their their laundry. So after a good amount of time surpassed & the people never returned to get their laundry I asked the girl behind the counter if she could remove the clothes from one washer. She said, "No", I said but there's a sign stating that if a customer leaves their laundry unintended after 30 minutes that the attendant would remove it for a waiting customer. She said, "I don't do that" & I said But there's a sign! She said, "The owner put that up, not me, I don't do that". Finally, about 6 or 7 women come in (all together, this is after they have been gone for like 1 hour & 45 minutes, they start unloading all these washers. I said to the one woman, "I'm so glad you are back, I been waiting a long time for a washer", she gives me a dirty look & only removes half the clothes & goes to a dryer, she knew I was standing there waiting. She just wanted me to wait longer because of what I said. Every machine I used I sprayed down the whole thing with lysol & disinfected what I was using. The Bathroom is beyond SCUM. They never put toilet paper in the bathroom. Ever. So I bring my own toilet paper, try to use the bathroom, but, they misplaced or lost the bathroom key! I cannot express how dirty this place is. The trash cans are overflowing, The tables are never cleaned, that's why I bring my own lysol & paper towels, the floor is never swept or mopped & the floor is disgusting, dirt, hair, fabric sheets, open washers with clothes left behind that have that smell of mold. The dryers are in poor shape, the handles falling off. The Staff do nothing. They hide in this back corner & sleep. They are never helpful, in fact, they are rude & completely apathetic. I am going to call Licenses & Inspections & see if they must abide by a cleanliness standard, I am shocked with Covid that it's like this. There's no customer service in any way. I even swept the floor near the dryers I was using for fear of my clothes falling onto the filth & the sticky floor. The tv's were broke or off. It was just so horrible. No masks on in filthy dirty environment. I am so scared that I am going to get covid from exposing myself into this germ, bacteria filled, virus of a place. Do not wash on the overnight hours, I was the only person in there one night & the guy working there slept in the back corner out of sight & some dude came in who was on drugs & started hassling me. If you are a female you understand how dangerous that is when the employee would never know if you were getting assaulted because he's asleep. It is a cold uncaring dirty rude place. I think the owner stopped caring a long time ago. Wish he's sell it to someone would care about that business. He obviously doesn't care about it. Most places give you as much as 80% free drying when you spend a certain amount of money, not here. It's great! Opened very recently, and I decided to try it out because the laundromat we normally go to isn't very good. I will definitely be coming here now. It's open 24 hours, has a decent sized parking lot, and is very clean. They have free WiFi and seven flat screen TVs. There are vending machines and even massage chairs. They have a variety of washing machine sizes, ranging in price from $2.75 for a regular sized machine to $8.75 for one that fits about 4 loads. The dryers are $0.30 for 8 minutes for smaller machines and $0.50 for bigger ones. They use a laundry card system, so you load money onto a card to use with the machines. The machines only take these, so don't bring change. You also can only use cash to load the cards, but they have an ATM inside ($2.00 ATM fee, so not bad). They also have a drop off service for $0.99/lb ($10.00 minimum) with flat rates for comforters. They sell detergent, fabric softener, and dryer sheets in case you forget yours. There's a sign outside advertising free soap if you wash on Wednesdays and Thursdays. I'm not sure if this is a promotion for their grand opening or something that's going to stick around. This place has horrible customer service. I accidentally placed an amount on to another washer, and when noticed after one minute into the cycle I alerted the employee. She stopped the other washer but told me that I would have to pay full price for another cycle. In addition, she was in knowledgeable and very bad mannered. I wouldn't normally take time to review a laundromat, but I really do like this place. I just moved to this neighborhood, and while my complex does have laundry facilities, I prefer laundromats because it's generally faster. I've gone during the day (morning) and at night (late evening). This place is 24 hours, and I was unsure about the crowd, but it was always easy to get a machine and parking. There are a variety of capacities in washers, with prices starting at $2.75. There are only two dryer capacities, but they both are huge, and they start at $0.30/8 minutes. I was concerned that the dryers would take forever, but I often only need 24 minutes to fully dry most loads. The place has a ton of rolling carts to move laundry from place to place (including to and from your car) as well as ample tables to fold. They sell soap, fabric softener, dryer sheets, etc., and they have vending machines. There are TVs and massage chairs, but I don't partake and can't speak to the quality; I just know they are there. I like that it's clean and has an attendant on duty at all times. I get all my laundry done in a little over an hour. I will go back until it closes or I move. **NOTE: You need to use their laundry card, which is easily loaded at the kiosk and takes both cash and credit/debit cards. read more
