I called Low Price Auto Glass on May 14th 2016, to get a price on how much it would cost to replace the driver side window regulator, and to see if they could do that. The girl I spoke to told me they could & gave me a price. I went there and spoke to a young guy about my issue, explaining I didn't think they could replace the Regulator without replacing the Window also. He said that they could replace the Regulator without having to replace the window. I said ok, lets do it. about 30 mins into them working on my 02 Pontiac Grand Am GT, the girl at the desk came to me and told me that they decided to go ahead and replace the Driver side window, "At NO ADDITIONAL COST" Who was I to argue with that. They only took about 40 mins to fix my car, Customer Service was top notch..Very happy with the service done to my car. On January 6, 2021 @ 8:25am, I went to this business to get my windshield replaced. When I arrived in the parking lot I saw my brother-in-law who was also waiting to get his replaced too. The receptionist inside advised us that we were a little early and we would have to wait till 8:30am. We told him no problem and patiently waited outside catching up in conversation. While waiting, a small blue pickup truck pulled up aggressively and an Hispanic male got out and appeared not to be in a good mood. My brother in law spoke to him "good morning" , he looked at him very unpleasant and barely spoke back and when into the building. Thirty seconds later, the same male came out of the door and disrespectfully told my brother in law "we don't have your glass, go somewhere else!" I immediately asked him "What is your problem, why are you disrespectful?" He states "This is South Side, I'm not going to kiss you ass!" I immediately advised my brother in law that we were going somewhere else and will never come here again. read more

I definitely recommend this place for all your auto glass repair needs. I've been here twice and on both occasions, I was very pleased with the quality of the glass and price. The first time, I had to have my windshield replaced. The second time I needed a new motor on the driver's-side automatic window, as it would go down but would not go up. They quickly fixed them both. Hopefully I won't need to use the auto glass service again, but if I do, I will gladly return here! read more

I went to Low Price Auto Glass on 3/30/12 because my window regulator was not working right. Mike, the owner, diagnosed the problem as shotty regulator and said that it would take an hour and he would fix the problem for $110. 45 minutes later he approaches me and says the clamps on the window are broken but he would do me a favor and replace it for free. Thanks Mike. 1.5 hours later the car is ready but with one caveat - do not roll down window for 72 hours. (Strange request for a fixed window but okay) 5 days later I roll up to ATM - roll down my window - and sure enough the window does not roll up properly. AFter getting the window in place I go back to LPAG. Mike says he will fix the problem the next day. The next day Mike "repairs" the window but says do not roll it up for 48 hours. Huh? I thought the window was fixed. "The glue has to dry and it is the best ever, it will only take 24 hours now." Huh? Mike shuffled and made 60 milllion excuses why it was not his fault he did not fix the problem properly the first time. I don't usually pen reviews but wanted to make sure this shop is exposed. Very reasonable prices, but you get what you pay for. Mike's work speaks for itself - incompetent with lack of regard for customer service. Along with the threat of court action, he said that's why he doesn't do favors for "my people." I wouldn't recommend this shop to anyone - not even my mother in law - and would advise all to avoid the slick talk and "free favors" of this terrible business. read more

Setup an appointment 4-10-15 for the next morning. When i got there they said they already sold the glass they had there and they would gladly set me an appointment for that Monday coming up. First, why would i set another appointment when you couldn't follow thru on the original one that had been set. Second i work on during the week which is why i initially set it up on Saturday. SMFH!!! So today 4-17-15, i try to setup another appointment in hopes they would keep their word this time, only to be told that they will set an appointment but they wouldn't order the glass until i actually get there tomorrow 4-18-15, and proceeded to tell me that the glass wouldn't be there until 1 so i would be without my car all day. I've used this place before in the past and the service was never like this. Dont know what happened, don't really care at this point. I highly suggest you call around before going to this place.They must get so much business they don't need my measly $150 cash. There are a lot of glass shops around here and im sure they'll be glad to take my money. I found another shop down the street which cost a few dollars more, but at least they keep their word. read more
