I looked for a mechanic that worked on Volvos, and I found Thomas Auto Service. They were great! They were able to get me in that day, a Friday, diagnosis the problem, and get me running again. They did not have one of the computer chips on hand and could not get it till Monday - it was a Friday afternoon mind you - but they fixed me up enough, let me know what warning lights would stay on, and got me on my way. I feel I was treated very fairly and honestly. As an out of towner, who would probably never be back again, you worry about being taken advantage of by an unscrupulous mechanic. That was not the case here, at all. They were very honest, and the prices were very good (less than I was expecting, honestly), and it was quality work that allowed me to continue on my journey that day. Unfortunately the towing company (not Advanced Auto Repair) did an awful job towing and actually damaged my van. I came to Advanced Auto Repair to get it fixed. The van was making an awful noise that made it uncomfortable to drive. Even worse, I had plans to move across the country to Oregon for a new job in just two weeks. Troy made a spot available for me on short notice and he was able to fix my van in a short time frame. He went out of his way for me as a customer and it really showed. I recommend this place for anyone with car troubles. You will be treated well and the prices are fair. They will not try to take extra money from you.

I've gone here on on a couple occasions and the last time I went the guy asked if he could give me his "membership spiel so he wouldn't get in trouble with management" And of course, I said that's fine I had already picked my car wash, so he gave me the membership spiel proceeded by saying for the same price that you're gonna pay for the single membership. You can get the rest of the 30 days for free with no commitment to a membership. So I asked him TWO clarifying questions, first being, so after the 30 days, it won't auto renew and charge my card ? To which he replied "no, it won't". My second question just to double verify was, if I come back through in the next 30 days does that trigger the membership to auto renew? Which he said no it won't, you have to go on make your account, and THEN set up your membership to auto renewal if you want to do that. Seems pretty clear to me... Except to my surprise 30 days later, my membership auto renewed And when I called tidal wave about it and mentioned this whole interaction, they told me "sorry we don't refund for non-usage of a membership" well if I had known I had a membership I would've used it... The entrance signage was confusing, and the pricing tiers weren't clearly explained, which made it hard to know what I was paying for versus what I was actually getting. The line management was chaotic. Cars were stacking up with no staff directing traffic, so people were cutting in and others were backing up into the street. It felt unsafe and disorganized, which is not what you want when you're trapped in a narrow lane. At the pay kiosk, the screen lagged and the options weren't clear. I selected a mid-tier wash that supposedly included a wheel scrub and spot-free rinse, but the receipt didn't list those features, and there was no attendant around to verify or adjust anything. Inside the tunnel, several brushes didn't seem to make proper contact with my car, especially along the lower panels and rear hatch. The pre-soak was brief, and the wheel cleaner barely sprayed the passenger side, which defeats the purpose of a premium add-on. By the time I exited, the car was still visibly dirty. There were soap residue streaks on the windows, bug splatter on the front bumper, and a dusty film left on the rear. The wheels looked untouched, and the tires had uneven shine like the applicator skipped sections. The vacuums and self-serve area didn't make up for it. Several vacuum stations had weak suction, a few hoses were torn, and trash bins were overflowing. The microfiber towels were either out of stock or damp and grimy, which is not sanitary. Customer service was the most frustrating part. I tried to find someone to ask about a rewash guarantee, but the lone attendant seemed rushed and dismissive. I was told to "go through again if you want," but the line was long and no one offered a code or any assistance. For the price, the value just isn't there. I can get a better wash at smaller, locally run places where the equipment is maintained and staff actually check results. Paying extra for "spot-free" and "wheel scrub" means nothing if those steps aren't performed properly. Facilities upkeep needs serious attention. The lot had puddles and slick spots, the mat cleaners were out of order, and several signs were faded or peeling. These details add up and reflect a lack of care in the overall operation. I won't be returning based on this visit. If Super Clean Tunnel Wash wants to earn back customers, they need clearer pricing, working equipment, attentive staff, and a straightforward rewash policy that's actually honored. Until then, I can't recommend this location.
