Stopped by Super Pizza on a night when I was traveling through Rome but I needed to get work done in my hotel. The wait times to go were longer than I would have liked but the food was amazing! We walked past this place on the way from the train station to our hotel. I didn't think anything of it because it looked like the hundreds of other "pizza &..." store fronts seen all over Italy. After getting settled in to our hotel and realizing it's 10pm the night before Easter in Rome, our options were quite limited and decided to walk back to Super Pizza. We are pretty happy we did! I decided to try out the chicken and broccoli pizza while my fiancé got Margherita pizza and we ordered a chicken kabob. We thought we had ordered the one to share but the guy put two up and we went with it. We walked back to our hotel and dove in to the pizza first. The chicken and broccoli was a welcomed surprise to the taste buds. I was able to taste the broccoli flavor and even though I could see the broccoli, I never actually tasted the broccoli itself (think broccoli and beer cheese soup sans ever touching actual broccoli but it's there). I enjoyed it and my fiancé was surprised he liked it, too. The Margherita pizza was good, heavy on the onion but after being cooked in the oven for a few mins, it was delicious. Now the chicken wraps. We ordered with a little bit of spice and glad we did because the "spicy" sauce added more flavor to the wrap, but not necessarily heat but it was good. The meat was very flavorful and off the core right in front of us. The wrap is also BIG for a wrap (when we read "wrap" and n the menu we were thinking the traditional wraps from chain restaurants or everyone's favorite buffalo chicken wrap at the local joint size). The wrap looks like a long burrito and one is definitely big enough to share. We kept our 2nd wrap in our hotel room fridge for the next morning. We have now gone back twice and will some more before we leave in 3 days. Definitely recommend for some good pizza and random giant chicken kabob wrap! read more

It's great it's open until 1 am. This street is pretty lit around the am. A lot of locals come to get food to go. The food smelled good & fresh. The service is good & staff is attentive. Ask about the menu they will answer with a smile which you don't see much in this Rome , place. read more

My friend and I stumbled upon this little gem while trying to find another pizzeria altogether. Thank goodness the one we wanted to go to was closed, so we could try this place instead. The pizza was cheesy and delicious and crispy, but what takes the cake is the spaghetti. Very very simple, just sauce and noodles, but damn! There is an art to making something delicious out of something simple, and they succeeded. I think it's the subtle seasoning, or the fact that it was light on the sauce but still very flavorful...I don't know but I was very happy. As a Californian, this place kind of reminded me of local Mexican restaurants and taco shops. They have a small menu of very decently priced items, and everything is good but not extravagant. Plus, I loved how the owners and cooks of the pizzeria were so friendly and lively and fun! One more thing: I am now a fan of Italian beer! read more

Super authentic spot to grab quick bite of pizza or pasta. We tried the Margherita pizza and my favorite, the sausage with broccoli. We enjoyed every bite. Everyone was very friendly and the food came out really fast. There's also a great selection of bottled beer. I would have given five stars but the beer was lukewarm and they didn't accept credit cards so I'm giving four. Still a great place to try. read more

While walking around site seeing in Rome we stopped at Super Pizza for a quick lunch in between destinations. We ordered 4 cheese, and pepperoni pizza. One bite in and we both knew we had made a great choice. The pizza had great flavor and the mix of sauce, dough and cheese was balanced. We both enjoyed the 4 cheese the most but the pepperoni was also very good. Pepperoni were a bit spicy which I loved but if it's something you not into I would stay away from it. The pizza was already made all we had to do was order and wait for it to be warmed. We also ordered what i can only describe as rice balls as I am unaware of their proper name. These were fairly good but I have nothing I can compare the taste to. I'd order them again but the pizza itself is really all you need for a satisfying meal. I'm not quite sure if this is the same place, but somewhere on the right side of this street, as you walked north from Via Solferino to Via Ternaia, was one of the most appetizingly disgusting kebab places I've ever found. When you looked into the place, you saw the little rotating kebab in the back, and arrayed under the glass, rows of ready-to-go kebabs that looked to have been sitting there a bit too long. A young guy in a tight t-shirt was standing in front of the counter, chatting with a friend of his. After I ordered, he took one of the pre-assembled kebabs and put it into a pizza oven for about 30 seconds or so. Then he handed it to me, with what I remember was one of the most intense expressions of boredom I'd ever seen. Deadened, seemingly the pinnacle of apathetic, but also just barely suppressing some sort of rage. I sympathized, to be sure, since I couldn't have played anything more than a microscopic part in it. I walked out with my reheated kebab, a little afraid of what it might do to me. I disliked every other kebab I tried in Italy, which always had too much slippery, fatty chicken; so how could this one be any better? But it was immensely surprising. The heat had added a nice crunch to the slightly oily, pizza-style bread, and most importantly, it had removed a good part of the meat's slipperiness. Under the meat lay the lettuce, tomato, and sauce, all of which had a strange texture from being cooked, but they added a further unusual quality to the whole thing. Objectively this was probably the most questionable kebab in Rome. But it was the only one I liked, precisely because of all the things they did wrong. Highly recommended. read more

Super pizza is a cool, small place that's great if you're traveling on a budget. The pizza is good, not great. The staff is very nice and helpful. We went with the prosciutto pizza, which was pretty good. Be careful though, the pizza is priced by weight. read more

I stayed in Rome for about 5 days and the first day I passed by I didnt pay to much attention to it, but later on I got hungry and went to check it out. I grabbed a slice of pizza and I was hooked. I went back the second day and tried their chicken wrap and it was THE BEST wrap I have ever had. Also the food was inexpensive, best bang for the buck if you ask me. I had dinner here for 5 days straight thats how good the food was! They also have a lot of VEGETARIAN options. Yes I did try other pizza places but the quality vs price ratio just was never as good as Super Pizza. The food and drinks were great and the customer service was just as good. The main server/host Mohammed was the absolute best. He always had a smile on his face, always cracking jokes, talking to you just the right amount, and always serving you as if you were family. Mohammed is the true MVP of Super Pizza. I would definitely go again 10/10. read more

Great place to stop for pizza. It's pizza by the gram so we paid 16 euro for three big slices of pizza, a beer, and two drinks. It was DELICIOUS. We had the meat pizza, the mushroom pizza, and the spicy pizza. All were amazing and covered in toppings. For a quick stop after the Declecian Baths, this cannot be beat. read more
