I had such a yummy lunch today which consisted of a brisket sandwich with cheddar cheese and jalapenos. The order also can with a side and I decided to try the red potato salad. The brisket was tender melt in your mouth and well seasoned. The jalapenos had a sweet taste rather than spicy which was a bit of a surprise. In addition the potato salad was really good. It tasted homemade with not to much mayonnaise and well cooked but not mushy. Basically it was perfect. The price for a sandwich was $11.00 which seemed a bit high for a food truck however if I'm going to spend this much money I will definitely spend it on Super Q. If you have the opportunity you should definitely check it out.

trio of sliders: brisket (with added mac&cheese, aka "super slider") pulled pork (slaw on side) and chicken in back

3 sliders, 3 ways...im a sucker for an option that allows me to sample and feed my indecisiveness. Brisket with added mac & cheese ( 50¢ extra, i believe). i enjoyed thoroughly but thought the mac&cheese was a bit bland and lacked any distinguishing cheesy flavor. not worth the extra charge and DEF not worth paying $2 for a full side. Pulled pork. good, not great...very sweet. request the slaw on the side to prevent it from getting soggy! also because its nice to control the amount desired along with the already sweet pulled pork Chicken. not sure why but this was my least favorite. 1 of 3 or all reasons: flavor was slightly strange, the bun was completely soggy due to being the last i ate, and / or i was no longer starving and realized the flavors were mediocre. that, combined with the fact that like most of these trucks, the food is around $2 too high, made it just eh. adding the mac & cheese to one brought my 3 sliders (no side) to a $10 meal. ...i am told (and witnessed by looks) that the BBQ chicken salad is awesome. i may give that a go some time in the future.

As part of the rill 'Em All + Other Food Trucks + Beer + Music + Benefit @ Sound Bites A Benefit for Monique event I ordered the Knock Out Pork sandwich with pulled BBQ pork smothered with homemade BBQ sauce, topped with homemade coleslaw served on a warm Kaiser bun. (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/NiYEU10gNTrCSbIfzcUW-w?userid=WG3w_73scm_JUWJ_3Lgn0Q) This is one of those sandwiches that you have to roll up your sleeves, lean forward with your elbows up, and then take a bite. As I accomplished my first bite, the BBQ sauce dripped and the coleslaw wanted to follow, so my bite was big and quick to minimize loosing all the goodness inside. (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/NiYEU10gNTrCSbIfzcUW-w?select=gfQZUkDOhh2Eww1XknW_Xg) The pull pork on its own was a little dry, do to the smoking, but the amazing BBQ sauce was there to step in and save the day. The pork was nice and smokey and with bits of outside pieces that were nice and crunchy. Good stuff. The coleslaw added a nice sourness to the rich and tangy BBQ sauce. They went well together. The kaiser bun was excellent: moist and warm and a perfect nestle for all the pulled pork. After about a half dozen napkins and a couple of those moist packaged towelettes, I have to say this Knock Out Pork sandwich was a great success! Here little piggy..........

If you've looked at Super Q's food pictures, I'm sure you started salivating right when you saw the pulled pork sandwich that has mac & cheese inside. I looove this combination. The BBQ sauce is great, the bread is toasted to buttery perfection and the meat is tender. I'm also a fan of their sweet potato fries! Super Q can be found on the Green Flash Brewery rotation. They are super friendly and also accept credit cards.

    Super Q in Torrey Pines

I live in Charlotte, so like many North Carolinians, I like to think that I know the difference between good barbecue and bad barbecue. Rule number one: Avoid chains. Rule number two: Food trucks get bonus points. Rule number three: Mac and cheese on the menu is another bonus point. So here's a *new* green truck (that isn't Green Truck) at the Tuesday food truck lunch in Torrey Pines. Well, it sure smells good. And the truck looks nice and clean. Let's give them a try.... Verdict: Very good. I got three BBQ slider sandwiches with the mac & cheese. The pulled pork was tender, the sauce was tangy and the bread rolls were nicely toasted without being mushy. As for the mac and cheese, it was good and creamy, but being mixed in with the rolls (see picture) made eating this lunch a bit of a messy challenge. All good. Can't wait for them to return.

Got to try out Super Q at a local dealership's event. Bright green truck, you'd never miss it. The lines were long as was the wait but the staff pushed through getting orders out to the crowd. Because of the nature of the event as well as the volume of customers, the menu was limited to certain plates and sides, but the options still offered variety. We ordered the Super Q Brisket Sandwich (they were nice enough to let me sub the sourdough for Kaiser) and the Sliders Trio. The food was really rich. Mac n Cheese in a BBQ sandwich? That's indulgence. They made it work, though. The meat was tender and the sauce was thick. For the sliders, I ranked the tastes in this order: Brisket, Pulled Pork, Chicken. Despite the wait, the gastro-BBQ coming out of a truck was decent. Thanks for getting your food out to Murrieta, Super Q!

    Good food & people!

Hired these guys for my Employee Appreciation event and they were a hit! On time, efficient with the orders, super easy to arrange and the guys on the truck were great as well! Super friendly and the bonus--THE FOOD! Best BBQ I think I've ever had. My guys were pumped and thoroughly enjoyed the menu! Thx Super Q

This food truck stops by my office and their plates fill you up so much! The food is consistently good, though I do love their sandwiches, I wish they had options of half sandwich and a salad coz the portions are a little too much for lunch. The knock out brisket was really good as well , flavorful and tender. I've tried the carne asada fries which are realllyyyy good. Also tried just a plate of half brisket- half pulled pork with a side of slaw. This is my go to order from this truck as it allows you to taste both meats! Also wish they had a couple of different rub/sauce options as they tend to feel a bit repetitive in terms of flavor when you visit the truck a couple of times. I did feel that the options on this truck were on the pricier side but as an occasional indulgence , it's definitely worth it !

Super Q is one of the food trucks that you have to try once, but probably shouldn't go back for a month. The food is really good, but so good that you know it's bad for you! I had the Super Q pork melt and love that mac-n-cheese is right in the sandwich. I just couldn't finish the sandwich though because I could feel my arteries clogging. The wait wasn't too bad for lunch, but still a bit longer than I preferred (15 min). The pricing seems to be a little more than other food trucks I've tried but I'd probably go back (in a month) and try their fries. I'd give them 3.5 stars if I could.

WOW! Amazing! I saw them at the 2nd annual valley center food truck festival. I am so happy that I got to try their food. I had the BBQ brisket sandwich on sourdough, with mac and cheese mixed in to the Sandwich, $9.99. Outstanding and delicious. Some good BBQ Brisket, and who doesn't like macaroni and cheese. I also tried the wedge cut fries about $3.49. They were also delicious. If you are looking for BBQ or mac and cheese, I highly recommend that you try it

We tried several and they were all good. The Super Q brisket with Mac and Cheese was the bomb.

What's up SD Yelpers, only 7 reviews? The food is great. SUPER Q BRISKET MELT WITH FRIES. SUPER Q BRISKET MELT WITH FRIES. SUPER Q BRISKET MELT WITH FRIES. Had to recommend it 3 times because it was that good. We had several of the other sandwiches which were also good as well as the other sides. Yes, it is a real gut bomb and a heart attack in a box, but as long as you eat it no more than once a week, and exercise for 30 minutes every day, you should be ok. Ha ha Just kidding. Definitely check it out.

First time at this food truck. I got a pulled chicken slider with coleslaw. The slider was a good size and the chicken was well seasoned. Not bad for a snack.

This truck is amazing! Great quality food and good customer service. The fries are amazing! Real old school thick cut. Potato wedges with fresh jalapeños and all the yummy fixings on top. The BBQ sauce is good and not too sweet. Highly recommend trying anything in their menu. I've visited them a couple times now, and look forward to seeing them for food truck Wednesday's downtown.

It had a balanced amount of sauces and ingredients without being too overpowering. The meat tasted fresh and not overly salted. However, they are both on a pricier side for a burger that does not come with any sides. They are like fancy burgers without the fancy location. I enjoyed the OG burger's simplicity and its melted cheese but the Classic helped balancing out the greasiness with the lettuce and onions. They used thinly sliced lettuces instead of full leaves.
