After an oil change at a local shop, my oil light was flickering and the acceleration was becoming difficult on hills. I fretted, I cried, I panicked, I called Paul's. The staff here is exemplary, with special shout outs to the angel who works at the front desk, whose name I unfortunately neglected to get in my rush to deal with my car woes, and Alex (who helpfully had his name on his shirt). Despite moving to Colchester, H&P is still my auto mechanic. I don't trust anyone else. Whenever I go, they always tell me what needs to be fixed immediately vs what can wait longer, and for how much longer. They're always honest and I never feel taken advantage of or ripped off - so important when dealing with an auto mechanic. Whenever I've compared prices, H&P always has the best value. This place has been around for decades and Paul continues to carry on the legacy of his father.
