I've been to a few Super Star car washes with no issues and everyone is pretty polite and helpful. I needed a car wash and was near this location so I pulled in. I had a free car wash on my receipt from a previous wash I wanted to use before it expired on May 9. The receipt was a little faded which made the bar code hard to read. The car wash attendant even tried to help me by looking at it and entering it for me. But unfortunately after a two attempts he was like sorry I just can't read it, it's too faded. That's not my fault though. You could still read the part on the receipt where it says Super Star Car Wash Coupon Redeem for your FREE Clean Wash. He said sorry that's too bad, I can't read the code to enter so you have to pay. Now it's not like I couldn't pay. I just wanted my free car wash honored and it wasn't my fault the receipt was faded. That's how it printed out for me. Anyway he got annoyed, frustrated and was a little rude about it and then tried to sell me their monthly plan for unlimited washes. Like I'd buy that after his rudeness. I bought a basic wash and went on my way. Just honor the free car wash I clearly had the receipt for. Is it so hard to say, oh that's hard to read but I'll honor the free wash for you. Why be a butthead about it? Needless to say I won't be back at this location anytime soon. Week ago I traveled down a dusty rode on Castle Hot springs rd. When I returned, I went into Super Star car wash on Waddell and selected $11 carwash to clean my pickup. I was in a hurry to get home and I did not wipe down my truck. When I got out I notice muddy water dripping down my tires and my end gate. I realizing that the truck look like it need to be rewashed again. After forty-five minutes I return to Super Star car wash to ask for an adjustment to rewash my truck. Immediately the manager proceeded to explain to me that it was my fault for purchasing a lower quality carwash. Yes, there is a lower quality $8 wash but that's not what I paid for because of the dust. When I said, I needed service and not salesmanship the manager accused me of being rude. Thats his opinion not my. I just wanted service! He refused to help and told me told me to back my truck out of his lane because he was not going to help me. Whatever happen to customer service? Again, my truck was dusty, not muddy. Your managers aggressive behavior is unprofessional and is not customer friendly. Quick to blame me for choosing $11 carwash. If $11 carwash won't wash off dust then what price do I need to pay? As you know there are many carwashes other than Superstar carwash who will be eager to help their customers. The car wash itself is FINE, I guess. I do always go with the cheapest option so maybe that's why my car is never "spotless" when I'm done here. You'd get the same or better results honestly through a gas station car wash. Even though this location is closest to me, I'll usually opt for the other one up the street a bit because this location always has multiple vacuums that don't work, no towels or smelly towels. My main complaint for ALL of them however, is the pushy sales tactics! Look, I get it- you make it part of these kids job to harass and stress the customer out to the point either finding a new car wash or (your actual goal) making the customer cave a buy a stupid car wash package they don't actually want. The poor kids you have doing this don't WANT to agitate and aggravate the customer into having a negative experience. Seriously I would get my car washed probably MORE than I would if I had the subscription (which I did have in the past and wasn't worth the $60 or whatever it is for 2 cars) if I felt like I could just go and get it done and move on with my life. But I can't.i have to sit there and battle with myself if the 10 minute prolog of telling a kid 1/2 my age that no means no and 90% of the time that answer is "no". I don't want to fight "Dylan" or "Justin" or "Bradley" with a polite smile all the while I'm fighting the urge to scream "just open the GD gate and let me finish my errands for the love of Christ!" Don't use superstar. They don't allow you to manage your account at the local location to you. You have to email and call multiple people to cancel a membership or switch plans. Over priced as well, I was paying $10 a month at first for my carwash and I noticed the other day I'm now being charge $30. DO NOT GO THROUGH SUPER STAR CARWASH. read more

I got my oil changed. A couple hours later I had oild spilling out everywhere my engine over heating. Looked under oil filter was gone. I fixed it my self showed them the pictures and receipts all I wanted was a refund since I did it myself. Said they don't do refunds. Went back and fourth and said said they will send a check in the mail. Terrible customer service on managements part and put everything on their corporate department. They wanted to hold the money for 3 weeks because the longer they hold the money the more they make so instead of doing the right thing they are holding it. Real shady stuff. WARNING: Avoid Super Star Car Wash (SSCW) WARNING: Avoid Super Star Car Wash (SSCW) I'm sharing my experience to warn others about SSCW's poor handling of claims and discriminatory behavior. After my vehicle was damaged at SSCW, I agreed to a settlement with the understanding that any additional damage (like brake light and wiring issues) would be addressed. The estimator even mentioned possible extra costs. I asked for clarification on repair coverage and a rental car during repairs but received no response it has been more over a month. The repair shop is ready to proceed, but SSCW refuses to communicate or authorize the $300 deposit. To make matters worse, the damage was done October 2024. The associates refused to sign the damage form until General Manager returned from vacation 3 days later. They never completed the form. After finally getting the General Manager, he was very dismissive and treated me rudely, speaking down to me as a young Black woman, while I witnessed respectful treatment toward other races and age groups. Returned in November to be told that the form was not filled out completely by their associate who refused to sign. The assistant manager was helpful. I had to go to another location to seek assistance. After being told by the General Manager who had never SUMBITTED MY DAMAGE FORM for repairs. That he was told from corporate that my 2020 vehichle was old and they wouldn't cover damages. I requested it in writing and never received it. I even challenged him as to why is it they reached out to him but no one has replied to me although my contact information was requested. He said he didn't have signal. I asked to contact Regional Manager no one was able to help. Fast forward to January, after speaking to another manager at another location. Thank you 83rd and McDowell for all your assistance in helping me further my claim. Thinking the issue would be resolved after speaking to corporate a lady name Patricia. No communication after requesting clarification for damage repairs. Only pressure for me to sign a final settlement knowing the estimate could increase and ignored my rental car request. This lack of professionalism has caused unnecessary stress and anxiety. I'm now filing formal complaints with the Arizona Attorney General, BBB, and the Arizona Department of Insurance and Financial Institutions. Consumers deserve better. They may as well charge everyone the same price and don't even offer full service. I told 3 workers each what I wanted which was the Superstar wash, no vacuum, and wipe down my rims. They did a piss poor job wiping my truck down after the wash. They didn't touch my rims, and they used compressed air and sprayed tire shine all over my rims and tire. To top it off? We've come to this location a few times before. It was definitely time for our "Echo" to get a car wash. That's her name. Not her model type LoL It was an easy decision to come by this location. Even though it is out of our way, and always very busy. But the decision was made because of the great deals they always offer. Specially right before the weekend. I know that on Friday afternoon I will always have a txt or an email from them waiting on my phone with an amazing discounted special. This Friday was no different. I was in able to get to the car wash on Friday or Saturday. However, Sunday even though it wasn't as busy, which was actually a good thing for us, I was able to use my discount at coupon. They are really good deals to be had. Depending on what type of wash you would like, there is a dis-counted percentage for every level of washed or you would like. We opted for the mid-level wash including the watermelon color scented triangle. They also had dry. The only reason to use it is convenience, but if there is another close by.. I would suggest you try that! Also had issues with changing a credit card that was compromised. Decided to save myself some time and effort and take my car for a wash. I paid for the highest option they have. $40 later and my car is still dirty. They "made an attempt" at the outside but the inside was still dirty and looked worse than when I went in. They semi wiped down the interior so you could see streaks through the dust.
