Top spot for Ham and Cheese Croissants with or without Jalapenos. They do a bomb job and it's pretty similar to the famous Seaside Bakery of Newport Beach. Other things you have to try... +++ The iced coffee. For $2 it is an excellent deal and tastes DELIICIOUS. I also liked the orange honey wheat... it was fresh outta the fryer so I dunno if that had anything to do with it. Ultimately must try the croissants! This place is a joke!!! From the owner to the management they are very unprofessional. I've gotten donuts here before usually pretty fresh lately they've been horrible and today the donuts tasted at least one day old. For this reason I do not recommend this place to anyone anytime soon. I went to get my money back and they give me unnecessary hassle and the owner couldn't even look in my face when he was talking to me he looks at the floor not professional at all. My advice is more of a suggestive request, please do not disturb the poor older Latina that works there, the only thing she despises more than her job is serving you! The donuts here are not fresh at all. The least they can do is lower their price for their "stale" donuts that have been sitting on the shelves for so long, but they don't. It's still full price. Wouldn't recommend this place, unless you're up for stale donuts at full price. They don't always prepare a new batch early in the morning sometimes they do it at midnight and let it stay there all night. Not going back here again. Not risking getting stale donuts. I gave this place a few chances and yet, stale donuts is what I got every time. And to mention, the Asian lady that works there is extremely rude to the customers and has no manners, it's quite unprofessional. Love the people that work here. Some of them have been working here since the beginning, when the shop opened up 25+ years ago! Kinda dig that it's a bit divey and dodgy looking. If you can get here early enough when the donuts are fresh, you're in luck! The ham and cheese croissants with jalapenos (yup jalapenos!) are bombdigs. So are the egg rolls (but only if you take them home and put them in a toaster oven yourself). read more

The worst customer service. The lady at the drive threw was extremely rude. Every time I asked for a donut she would roll her eyes and get upset. After she told me the price of a dozen vs a half dozen I asked her just to give me a dozen. She got upset and told me I should've said that at the beginning. WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!!!!!! I just to go and get coffe bcz was close to my house than, I got there not suffiecient coffee, next day no coffee please wait, Right I have to go to work, 3rd time half Decaf and half regular I said ok, Next time walk in and out no coffee, 4 time no coffee stop going all together. I've been here a few times, mainly for national donut day. Though they don't have any deals on this day their doughnuts are good. They are cash only with an ATM inside but I recommend having cash beforehand. They make solid doughnuts and are close enough to my work for me to stop in and grab some for my office. Not a bad place and the folks there are friendly. They seem to have regulars each time I go there too so that's a plus. read more

Read the sign it says "DONT" not "DONUT" So they make Ham & Cheese croissants but don't make just cheese croissants I asked for a cheese croissant no ham. At 1:30 in the morning I had a pretty good experience, being that's it's 1 am my expectations weren't too high. The donuts taste average but the selection is always lacking. The lady that helps seems like she doesn't want to be there but sounds like it's a common occurrence. If I could give this place -5 starts I would totally do it!! Just picked up some donuts since my daughter wanted some and the Mexican lady servicing the shop did something that I would never imagine nobody in their right kind doing, especially when your providing service to the community (selling donuts). An older Mexican lady (in her 70s/80s) picked out 3 donuts and her total was $2.83! After the old lady was counting her penny's and nickels. Literally (penny's and nickels) this cashier has the nerves to tell her In Spanish "next time being dollars or larger cents to add up faster since I don't have time to be counting your change" I then asked the cashier was she said was wrong and paid for the old lady's donuts. The cashier returned all her change and the old lady walked out. I told the cashier in Spanish that it was her job and her duties to count ALL money, whether it be all penny's, or change in general. I ordered my donuts and she gave me my total. I replied, I should pay in penny's since you like to count. And she replied back, go ahead and use penny's so I can help the next person in line. So I threw my money at her and said "use your expertise and count that" BAM!!! Never again!!! STAY AWAY!! read more

Tried this out last week on Sunday about 6:30am. A very small store but they have a drive thru window too. The selection is average to maybe a little small. The taste in general is OK, about average independent donut shop type. The staff is fairly attentive. At that time of day the customer line was about 3 deep with more after me and a few thru the drive thru. I ordered 2 raspberry filled, 1 lemon filled, one maple bar and one bear claw. The raspberry and lemon filled were tasty to me and my son, rate a 4. The maple bar was eaten a day or two later so a taste test would not be fair. The bear claw was a little on the small side and had only a little pocket of apple filling, maybe a 2+. I don't know if my taste has changed or dulled over the years, but I am having a problem finding a really delicious donut shop in the Riverside/Fontana area. Of the ones I have tried so far, the taste on some items is above average, but nothing really "Zings". I have been here twice if that is any comment in favor of this store above the 2 or 3 other locals I have tried. Cost for the above donuts seemed a little above average, somewhere around $7. read more
