I paid for a premium wash, gave a tip and the inside of the car was not even touched. Very disappointing.

Paid for a detail. Waited. Car was not vacuumed in the back. Dash not wiped off. Console still dirty. Etc. after sitting inside with no air conditioning, I wanted to come back the next day so they could finish the job I paid for. "We don't do that. ". I'm not sure what got into the other reviewers - but this car wash has been nothing but courteous and timely with our cars. Usually, I like the do-it-yourself vacuum places in advance of the fee-based car wash tunnel but here, one is regaled with what Jules Winnfield himself may have characterized as "Le Treatment Royale" during one of his many bantering a with Vincent Vega. Here, at the Super Suds, you may opt to dispense with the abundance of waste and trash adorning the confines of your cabin by visiting the Marpan dumpster conveniently located at the NE corner of the lot. Then, it's a swift jaunt westerly to bid your package (there's no bidding, really. Just opting...) and say sayonara to your sled as its left in the vacuum station. Once freed from the accumulated detritus, your ride is conveyed to the conveyor and through the ensuing conveyance enjoys various automotive tonics and pomades - all meant to produce a gleam and sheen as seen in magazines. While waiting in the waiting area, enjoy perusing through kitsch tchotchkes for sale - or do as I sometimes do and catch up on your yelp reviews. ;) Seriously - this place is great. read more

The young, clean cut gentleman who greeted me at the menu display was friendly, and asked what kind of service I required. Remarking that I'd already noticed the sign requiring an additional charge for excessive pet hair, I explained that my son's car required vacuuming of inordinate pet hair and cleaning of sand and dirt, specifically on the doors, since he had rushed his wet Siberian Husky from the dog park to the veterinarian, following a heat stroke, which he sadly did not survive. Opening the back door and inspecting the interior, the young man retorted, "You'll need our $24.95 package, with a $5 up-charge for the pet hair." "Perfect," I replied, and paid with a debit card, designating an 18% tip, expecting the same kind of workmanship and service with which I had already received. After waiting 45 minutes to be called out, I observed that the car was appropriately washed on the exterior, though not dried - but poorly cleaned on the inside. Pet hair still lined the sides of the driver and front passenger's seats, and sand and mud were still caked on the rear door handles and paneling. While it was clear an attempt had been made to dust the dash and console, that work was haphazardly attempted. I stepped out to ask the taller, long haired, slovenly dressed gentleman, whose name I unfortunately did not learn, to examine the interior and complete the work. He replied, "Doors aren't included." He rambled off a list of sections that are included from the dash to the door jambs, and said, "You shoulda read the sign." I didn't read the sign, because I received personal attention upon my arrival, with an attendant asking me what service I required, to which I responded with a specific explanation, and he replied with a fair and clear price. I asked to see the manager please, and the man said, "I am the manager." I said, "I've never been to a car wash that markets themselves as a detailer, and charges clients for washing the interior, but doesn't include doors. The doors are 90% of the interior." Again, he said, "Read the sign." He was very rude and condescending. I said, "I would like for you to wash everything inside my son's car and then tell me what I owe you, since I've already left an 18% tip for quality workmanship and customer service." He said, "The doors will be an extra $10." He reluctantly did the work, and it was moderately acceptable, as the vacuuming was still incomplete. However, by then, I was already delayed and ready to leave. After delivering the car to my son, he immediately noticed the driver's side KC Chief's floor mat was missing, and was certain it was in the car when I left his apartment for Super Suds. My wife and I returned to Super Suds, where I spoke to the Manager, and inquired about the missing floor mat. He went to the back of the facility to ask "the dude who rinses floor mats" if he left it out, but returned stating there were only three in the car. We are confident the mat was misplaced or taken. The manager's demeanor with myself and other customers was disrespectful, rude, and condescending, and the organization is incompetent to provide customers with an effective and consistent quote for services. Besides performing mediocre and incomplete work, they are slow, and untrustworthy. I will never return to this place of business and would urge others to avoid it as well. read more

Second time here and after the first I swore I'd come here from now on. They were slow and I went right through and they were super nice. Second time this little lady running around was very rude to me. I had no idea where I was supposed to go since they were busy and I just needed a wash and no vacuum. The lady could have been so much more polite and exhibited some more people skills but she acted like that wasn't her thing. Hope the car wash isn't as abrasive as her attitude. Anyways, I'll take my $10 business elsewhere where employees are very happy to have a job during this economy. read more

Other reviewers aren't lying. These guys suck. Half assed job all the way around, many areas not wiped down, and I got a bigger package and left a good tip. Lazy and don't care workers is their problem. Don't wasted your money. There are other car washers in town that must be better. read more

I have used super suds for 20 years or more but they have gone so far down in service I will not be back. I took my car in today and with only 2 cars ahead it took them 45 min to even get my car in the wash. In that time I watched a car sit till it was dry with water spots and a nother come out with soap all over it, in the end I left with out getting the wax job I paid for (had to get a refund from a manager). During this time there were a bunch of guys just hanging out in the wax Bay killing time & the counter girl was just as rude a could be. Ugh never going back, I will find a new detailer read more

We are visiting Tallahassee, and wanted a full service wash to clean up our baby before we hit the road again. We were pleased to find Super Suds near our hotel. And further pleased to see it was a part of Goodwill's community service...happy to help a good cause. Prices were very reasonable, and the service was at/above our admittedly picky expectations. Our Lexus is shiny and clean again, with a typical wait time. The waiting room is a little tired and cramped, but it was clean and the AC was comfortable on a 95° day, so no complaints in that regard. read more

$35 and my rubber car mats still full of beach sand in both the front and back, seats still had sand in them, my inside doors still have makeup from my fingertips on them, cupholder compartment not cleaned. There wasnt that much sand to start with, but damn ya'll made no real effort to do anything but dry the car and that's after it sat in the sun for 15 mins spotting up while other cars were being detailed. The makeup comes off with wipes...again, no real effort $10 worth of services but charged 3x that much. read more

Don't think I've been to any car wash places that deserve any star rating beyond 3 stars. This place never disappoints me in that regard. I've been here several times and that's because I haven't found any other decent car wash places in town. It's not super expensive but the people here are pretty gloomy. They try washing and cleaning your car but you have to be really demanding to get a clean that satisfies your soul. Typically I find about 8-10 areas where they've not paid attention and point it out. They clean those spots most of the times and expect some tips for that. I think that's not acceptable given we are paying a lot for the services already. But I keep coming back every 4-6 months and can't seem to find a better place. If the readers find any other car wash places better than this, please let me know. read more

The staff are extremely attentive and dedicated. They do a very very good job. The reason they get 4 stars is because I dropped my car off at 8 AM and was told it would be ready in a couple of hours. There was only one other car there and it was being left for the entire day I told them I had an 11:30 AM meeting I would pick the car up at 11. At 11 I went to pick it up and it was nowhere near ready. The girl behind the counter was not very nice, but the guy that was cleaning my car and the supervisor were exceptionally nice and apologetic. They offered to let me take it to my meeting and bring it back so they can finish it. But I was getting ready to leave town and didn't have two more hours to leave it. They very generously gave me a refund. I will likely bring it back next week when I can leave it all day. The work they did do was very detailed and done very well. I think I would've been extremely happy with the work done had it been completed. read more

Since being acquired by Goodwill this place has hit rock bottom. My car wash was not "GOOD" nor "WILL" I be returning. You would think after I purposely open the trunk they would take the time to vacuum it right? WRONG! Only one car ahead mine and it took almost 55 minutes. Lots of employees moving at a very SLOW pace, cars out drying in the sun getting spots. After my car exited the wash the guy took about 1 minute to "somewhat" dry my car before holding up his hand signaling me that it was ready. The attendant stood at attention as if waiting for me to place money in his had, but I decided to look my car over first, which is when he took off like a bat out of hell. I opened all the doors and none of the frames were dry. The inside glass had not been touched, and when opening the trunk, there were still soap suds running down the track. After standing around for a few minutes trying to get one of the sloths to come take a look, I finally had to go inside and ask for the manage. She came out to take a look all the while trying to come up with excuses as to why my car was not finished completely, saying "it depends on the service you purchased". Well I told her I paid for the Bumper to Bumper, and asked if that included wiping down the door frames, inside windows, vacuuming the trunk and any running soapy areas she said "yes, it does, but they have been real busy so it must have been overlooked". She grabbed a dirty rag from the pile, took a swipe at my tires, then used the same rag to start wiping the inside door frames and windows. At this point I should have asked for a refund, but since I had used a Gift Certificate and had no plans to return, I just told her to forget it, went home and rewashed the car myself. Stay away unless you like to pay $16.00 or more for water spots, sudsy reside and don't mind if your windows don't get cleaned. read more

I am new to Tallahassee and this was the only detail place I could find to wash and clean the inside out. I would not recommend this place, there were spots like something had been sprayed on my car and left brownish spots. Not a place to take a NICE car. They tried to convenience me it was in the paint already and clearly i could see something had been sprayed to cause the spots. I'm very particular about my car and would have noticed the spots. I REALLY need to find a different location that hand spray and wash. read more

Do NOT go if you have a nice car. the Owner/GM is nice but the staff is horrible. Young kids who have no clue how to care for expensive vehicles. Most often they are talking on the cell phone with one hand and doing a half-ass job with the other. Leather treating on the seats was almost criminal. My beautiful car had a thick greasy mess slathered all over the seats in patches. The dash has some kind of Armour All product smeared in random areas, across half my radio, splashed onto my GPS. If something was sitting on the seat or an arm rest was down, they'd just slop around it and skip that area. Worst part was the water damage. They soaked the passenger side of my floor so badly that it took over a week to dry and caused my new vehicle to smell horrible. Went back to the owner who was upset and said he'd make sure they took care of it. All I received was more sloppy work by young kids who just don't know better. If you have an old truck covered in mud then perhaps this is the place to go. If you have a newer vehicle then you need to avoid this business. I will not be back. read more

I just got my car washed and am very pleased. I just bought the cheapest service, the bumper to bumper and went in to pay. I was planning on adding a tip to the bill, but that is not an option and they no longer give cash back. So I scrounged my golf bag and found 2 dollars. I wanted to tip 5. So I went out to the guy that was doing the detail work and gave him the 2.00. I told him I didn't have any more and was sorry. He smiled and said that it was ok and thanks for the tip I gave him and for thinking I needed to apologize. He then proceeded to do a great job on my car and went above and beyond by going inside to get a solvent to remove a couple of small pine sapp spots on my bumper. All with a smile on a very hot Tallahassee morning. His name was Chris, and that guy is worth his weight in gold for work ethic. I'll be back, and bring more money next time. Thanks Chris. read more

Super nice employees and they mean well but cleaning ability could be a lot better.

The staff is obviously doing minimal. I wont return. I got a super-works service and was not impressed. They missed many of my windows. had smudges all over them. They also didn't armor all my doors and only did the dashboard. My car wasn't vacuumed out very well either. I wont be returning! read more

Wow, has this place gone down hill. They haven't maintained their equipment so they have to drive your car through. It seems like they have lost enough business that they don't have fallen below a critical level where they have staff to drive a car through and dry it. I took my car in about a week ago to have the seats and floors shampooed. These guys did a TERRIBLE job! My car smells moldy, the windows are covered in condensation inside because the car won't dry out no matter how much I park it in the sun, leave the windows down, etc. I went back to complain and was told I shouldn't have had my car cleaned on a cloudy day and to go out and buy something to put inside to suck up all the moisture. In my two visits to this location I didn't encounter an employee over the age of 25...DO NOT GO HERE! read more

Two years of taking corporate truck here for detailing. They have all the modern necessities but do not clean much of anything well if at all. Truck had gotten so built up with missed interior etc that I found a place with no running water, just a portable tank and pressure washer. They cared and performed old school customer service and detail. I can only say I was amazed at what this low overhead place was able to do. I will return and leave SuperSuds for good. read more

I am not a person to leave bad reviews, as I am understanding on bad days being in the customer service Industry. But today was down right awful experience. An hour and a half wait only having four cars in front of me for a standard car wash. During that time I noticed many employees on their phones, joking around carelessly, while the "manager" was inside sitting down talking and not doing anything. I got my truck back after an hour and a half and I have no clue what they did besides run it through the machine and wipe it down with a dirty rag. All the extra details I paid for were done half way. Corners were cut from the minuet I walked in, from service to delivery. I Will no longer patron this business I have given $100s of dollars to in the past. But reading the other reviews, I can see it wasn't just me. Poor management of employees and service. read more

Got the bumper to bumper wash today. The employees move in slow motion. Car was mostly OK but not great. It needs a manager present that supervises the employees. Price not bad but people don't go there to sit for 30-45 minutes while employees move with no hurry. If the employees worked fast and hard the tips would greatly increase and the revenue for the business would increase.I will go to a cheap car wash and spend 10 minutes doing the inside of the car myself. Employees are nice but they need to get to work with a lot more speed! read more

Took my daughters car there on a sunday at 1103 am. At 1213 the car had still not gone through. I asked the employee working the register why it was taking so long. She got off her phone for three seconds said " we are short on staff" and went back to phone. 15 minutes later the car came out of the wash. The employee began to clean and dry the outside. His transmission must have been broken because he was so slow that after another 10 minutes i got fed up and told him i was taking my car. 1 and a half hour for a dirty car. The inside had been vacuumed but thats it. The outside and interior were dirty as before. The worst spent 20 bucks in my life. Got me once, never again!! If this is how they do business, ill wait till they go under and buy a business cheap!! I had to drive home that day and my daughter is in school all day so no way to go back to complain. And i thinks its a waste of time anyways if the cashier is any indication and no management on site!! Run your car through a puddle. Its cheaper and the same result!! read more

I have an annual pass here and the kids are great. I avg 1-2 times each week and am treated like a king. They dont even have to ask what I want. I have it detailed twice a year, my car is 5 years old and looks new! To the guy with a smell, you have to let the vehicle dry when you pick it up. The carpets are still damp from the shampoo. I left my mats in the trunk once, same thing happened. They cleaned them for me. I would recommend the annual pass....no brainer. read more

Have been to many detail centers in other states. Have never had as bad of service as I had today.After my car finished the washing process and was moved for the detailing, it continued to be overlooked. I watched 3 other cars get detailed before mine even though they were washed after mine. When they began working on the 4th and 5th car, I had enough. I told the young lady inside what had happened and that I was leaving, she didn't seem surprised and offered no compensation. The problem was my car was not the BMW, Camaro, Volvo, Cadillac or Lexus, I guess a Honda Accord doesn't tip as well. read more

I have been to this place three times and have been disappointed every time, slow learner. The last was with a certificate for the poor quality service I recieved the second time. These guys take no pride in what they do, used a dirty rag that they used on the outside of my vehicle to wipe down the inside. Grit and grim all over my dash and panels, I had to ask for a clean towel to wipe it down myself. Super-Suds in not a full service car wash, but a no service car wash. This is used to be a decent place to get your car cleaned. Not so any longer. I paid approximately $75 for a car detail, and the work was very poor. Moreover, the staff is rude, and the owner, Richard Gardner, couldn't care less if his customers are satisfied. You are better off at one of the other facilities in town. Beware. read more

This will be the last time I come here to get a car wash. Last time went for the works w the wax and left it overnight so they would have pleanty of time to do a good job. Came back the next day and they never did anything w the interior so I had to wait for them to do it. Time before that paid for the full package including the tire dressing and they forgot to do that part. When I spoke to the lady at the counter she was very nice but offered nothing for my trouble despite back to back issues. Today I gave it one last shot. I told the girl at the check in about my past experiences and she didn't seem to care. So I watched every step this time. They never opened the back (it's a suv) to vacuum. Then they attempted to do he tire dressing this time but didn't clean the wheels themselves. All this despite the check in girl assuring me that they would put the best people on it this time do I wouldn't have any issues. I never saw her leave her check in post to talk to anyone. All lip service. Quick search online revealed several mobile fetal services that come to your house for only a feed pillars more. Never again super suds. read more

After working 14 hours today and being on the road to Troy, AL and Fort Rucker, AL I found that my pickup had gotten covered with a very thick concrete substance from the Concrete Plant on Weems Road. I mentioned my dirty car to my Boss and she said that The Concrete place had some kind of dust from their plant that had covered all of the vehicles in our parking lot and the Concrete Company had given my Boss a complimentary car detail at Super Suds Detail for our troubles. I arrived at Super Suds a little after 6:00p and I kind of knew that the place was closing. I met Rod Nelson and asked were they going to be closing soon and he advised me that they were already closed. To my surprise Rod told me that my pick-up really did need to get the Concrete Substance off my pick-up so it would not harden. Rod volunteered to run my pick-up through the wash bay to get product off of my truck. Rod went over and beyond what he had to do and his help was greatly appreciated. Rod asked for me to come back tomorrow and they would do a complete job on detailing my truck and today's wash was at no charge. read more
