This place is still awesome. We're still going here. I love the people that run the place, and everything comes out fresh. Even if you order it to go, they still make it fresh. Great prices and a great restaurant. It really feels like our sushi spot.

Looking from the outside, you would never guess that super sushi is a high-quality, family run business, but that's exactly what it is. The owner is super friendly and all the staff our family members. They use high-quality ingredients to give the customer the best experience possible. And they're very transparent with the quality of their ingredients. We asked the waiter what he recommended and he told us the ichiban, Seattle's best, and the dragon roll. The first two rolls were amazingly fresh and so good. I didn't even need soy sauce to complement the roll. The decor inside feels very authentic Japanese. The service was super friendly and very quick. I will definitely be back for a date night.

This is a small, neighborhood sushi restaurant. It's conveniently located at the corner of the intersection and has plenty of parking. On this particular weekday dinner hour, there were very few customers and the service was very quick and attentive. The menu is straight-forward, see my menu pic. We started with their egg rolls. As you can see in my pic, there are 5 and their dipping sauce. The dipping sauce was mildly sweet and had a somewhat cool temperature. The cool temp complimented the hot freshly deep fried egg rolls. As you can see, the rolls were very consistently made. There was a fair amount of wrappings to the amount of inside veggies. These rolls were mildly flavored and so the ginger, wasabi and dipping sauce enhanced the flavor greatly. We shared their Super Sushi roll. This roll had a good combination of tempura and raw components. The prominent item was the Spicy Tuna. While there was a kick, it didn't overpower the eel or other items. The dark sweetened drizzle was a good contrast to the Spicy Tuna. We particularly liked that the roll was cut into thinner slices than usual thicker cuts. This made eat bite an appropriate size.

The interior was very cute and clean. The wallpaper was very nicely done and authentic. The lunch was incredibly fresh and delicious, and the server was so kind and welcoming. But then my mom suddenly got really hungry, so we looked for a nearby place to have lunch. My brother found this restaurant and said it had high Yelp ratings, and since my mom likes sushi, he suggested this place and we tried it. We ordered the lunch specials: three sushi combos and one sushi & sashimi combo. All of the combos came with miso soup and california rolls. All of the sushi here was really delicious, and the California rolls that came with the sushi were also very tasty. The wasabi was shaped like a flower, which looked very pretty and was a nice touch. The staff were also very friendly and kind. The cucumber pickles and ginger were extremely fresh and delicious as well. Everything we had was tasty, and the service was friendly, so I really liked this Japanese restaurant. If it were closer to home, this would definitely be a place I would come to often. FYI: My brother asked whether the owner of this restaurant was Korean, but we were told the owner is Chinese.

The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked right in front of us, which made it even better for the kids and the whole table. The hibachi chef kept everyone entertained, and the energy at the table was great. We ended up splitting the table with six other people, and by the end of the meal my dad was doing sake bombs with them like they had all known each other for years. That honestly made the night. It felt less like just going out to eat and more like a fun little dinner event. Good food, good service, good atmosphere, and a random shared table moment that turned into a great memory. Definitely a spot I'd recommend for family dinner, hibachi, or when you want something more fun than a regular sit-down meal.

We really enjoy the happy hour at Shiki and my favorite drink there is the Mai Tai, but otherwise I'm a tequila girl. We usually sit at the bar for our date nights before watching a movie. Two weeks ago I ordered a tequila soda water and a baked salmon roll. My hubby ordered a teriyaki entrée that comes with miso soup, salad and white rice too, but we upgraded to the house fried rice to share. We love us some fried rice and I normally eat the miso soup lol. Other than long wait times when having a large party, service has always been good in all of our experiences there. We've done all the dining experiences they have to offer too! When they're busy it may take a little longer for the food to come out, but it's worth the wait. I love their ramen as well. I will update with another visit soon!

My party of 10 was very grateful to have gotten a reservation the day of for a birthday…read morecelebration. The hostess noted that reservations could be made at least three hours in advance. For a Saturday at 4:30pm, we were seated and waited on immediately. The menu was expansive and I was surprised with the amount of vegetarian options for a Chinese restaurant. Our server was helpful in suggesting various fish options and knew their wait times. Some notable dishes were the sizzling beef with black pepper, beef scallion rolls, honey walnut chicken, mapo tofu, and fried chicken. The dishes that could be improved for flavor were the vegetarian steamed dumplings, steamed whole fish, and beef chow fun. We probably ordered around 8-10 plates (all dishes came with rice) and many arrived at the same time. The prices were very reasonable for the portions and it was just enough for everyone. Since we had a birthday celebrant, they were able to put our personal cake in the fridge. Our server provided a complimentary matcha cheesecake and candle towards the end of our meal. His robot server sidekick also sang happy birthday! I did feel like they were understaffed because the lobby hostess had to find the server for me several times when I asked for our cake and the check. Overall, it's a great place for large groups and celebrations.

When we arrived, the hostess attempted to seat us at a table that would not have comfortably accommodated our group. I politely asked if we could be seated at a nearby table that had more space. In response, she rolled her eyes and let out an audible sigh, which felt unprofessional and dismissive. When we were eventually seated at the requested table, she placed the menus down abruptly and did not hand one to me directly, instead leaving it at the end of the table. The interaction came across as unnecessarily rude and, frankly, not in line with the level of service I would expect from a hostess. That said, I want to note that the rest of our experience was positive. Our server was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout our meal. The food itself was also very good (I would not recommend the orange chicken though) and something I would return for. I hope management takes the opportunity to address the front-of-house experience, as first impressions matter and can significantly impact a guest's overall perception. (She was white and had unique, colorful, round glasses)

The fish tasted fresh, portions were good, and everything came out pretty quick even though they were busy. All you can eat is the way to go n We ordered a mix of rolls, plus some appetizers, and nothing missed. The sushi had a good balance--not too much rice, not overloaded with sauce, just clean flavors. Service was friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. The place itself is pretty casual, but that actually adds to the vibe. If you're in the area and want reliable sushi without overpaying, this is definitely a spot worth checking out. I'd come back.

It was…read morea nice touch that we received dessert on the house, which was a matcha ice cream! 6/5 - Sexy Salmon (back) - Savory and delicious, and the star of our meal. The sear was perfect, and the green onion topping and sauce, along with the small slice portions made this easy and fun to eat. Definitely try this in your first round! 5/5 - Shooting Star (front) - Very savory and delicious! If you like the cajun flavor with the spicy aioli sauce, this won't disappoint. The crunch from the tempura shrimp with the texture profile of the crab and rice makes this a very satisfying roll! 5/5 - Carpaccio - This was actually one of the best carpaccio dishes I had gotten, and I think it is due to the seasoning. You only get one order per person which is typical of other AYCE sushi places, but definitely something to savor! 5/5 - Bluefin Tuna - This is limited to one order per customer, but it was the first time I had eaten a bluefin tuna at an AYCE restaurant that tasted like bluefin tuna from Japan. This is more toro than chutoro/otoro, however it did have that distinct bluefin tuna taste. Impressed! 4/5 - Dynamite - Interesting baked roll dish. Served under a small flame that dies out, it was a very savory, easy-to-eat dish with chopsticks. However, it felt a bit overcooked by the end of the flame, which understandably can be hit-or-miss. Definitely try it out, as this kind of dish is typically rare in AYCE restaurants. 5/5 - Del Rosa and East Highland - These are both the same No Rice Roll just with different wraps. The fish serving was generous and we were impressed! The sauce complemented both perfectly. 4/5 - X-Girlfriend and X-Boyfriend - Pretty much the same No Rice Roll but with different fish. Kind of tastes the same from the other No Rice Rolls so I would just get one order to try it out. 3/5 - O.M.G., Pizza, and SBD Hill - About the same flavor profile with the creamy sauce with the seafood that is placed on top of California rolls. You can probably do with just one of these rolls whichever appeals to you. Of course, it is not exactly the same, but we didn't really care to figure out which was which as we were eating it. 2/5 - Flying Dragon - Was not particularly impressed with this dish. There was a lot of rice served for a thin slice of eel and white fish. The sliced onion was OK, and it did not seem to complement the dish significantly. It seemed more like a separate item placed on top of the roll. 3/5 - Cajun Tuna Nigiri - Decent tuna nigiri. I thought the slices were very thin, so the sear actually went through the whole fish rather than just at the surface which would have made a two-texture profile bite. However, it just seemed dry due to the seared thin slice. 3/5 - Cajun Salmon Nigiri - Same issue with the cajun tuna nigiri. It was seasoned well with the cajun, but the thin slice of the salmon made the sear more of a "cook" rather than a seared surface. 4/5 - Regular Salmon Nigiri - Typical salmon nigiri flavor with regular portion of rice. I think it is beaten out my other AYCE sushi restaurants that are generous with their fish portion and provide minimal rice. 1/5 - Shrimp Boat - This dish was very disappointing. While it is advertised as shrimp with crab meat, our whole group found that it was an overwhelming amount of crab meat and could barely pick out the shrimp. Difficult to finish especially in the 2nd half of our meal. Granted due to being a tempura roll, it was served later. 1/5 - Lobster Ball - This dish was also disappointing. While it is advertised as lobster with crab meat, we barely found a difference between this and the shrimp boat aside from shape. Even with the pictures, the size was larger than we expected. Difficult to finish especially in the 2nd half of our meal. Granted due to being a tempura roll, it was served later. 3/5 - Calamari - Huge portions but could have been salted more. Good crunch but I would hesitate on finishing this portion because you might get full! 3/5 - Shrimp Tempura - We ordered 4 orders of this and only received one order (2 pieces). Decent fry and could also be salted a bit more.
