This place is still awesome. We're still going here. I love the people that run the place, and everything comes out fresh. Even if you order it to go, they still make it fresh. Great prices and a great restaurant. It really feels like our sushi spot.

Looking from the outside, you would never guess that super sushi is a high-quality, family run business, but that's exactly what it is. The owner is super friendly and all the staff our family members. They use high-quality ingredients to give the customer the best experience possible. And they're very transparent with the quality of their ingredients. We asked the waiter what he recommended and he told us the ichiban, Seattle's best, and the dragon roll. The first two rolls were amazingly fresh and so good. I didn't even need soy sauce to complement the roll. The decor inside feels very authentic Japanese. The service was super friendly and very quick. I will definitely be back for a date night.

This is a small, neighborhood sushi restaurant. It's conveniently located at the corner of the intersection and has plenty of parking. On this particular weekday dinner hour, there were very few customers and the service was very quick and attentive. The menu is straight-forward, see my menu pic. We started with their egg rolls. As you can see in my pic, there are 5 and their dipping sauce. The dipping sauce was mildly sweet and had a somewhat cool temperature. The cool temp complimented the hot freshly deep fried egg rolls. As you can see, the rolls were very consistently made. There was a fair amount of wrappings to the amount of inside veggies. These rolls were mildly flavored and so the ginger, wasabi and dipping sauce enhanced the flavor greatly. We shared their Super Sushi roll. This roll had a good combination of tempura and raw components. The prominent item was the Spicy Tuna. While there was a kick, it didn't overpower the eel or other items. The dark sweetened drizzle was a good contrast to the Spicy Tuna. We particularly liked that the roll was cut into thinner slices than usual thicker cuts. This made eat bite an appropriate size.

My family loves coming here to this quiet restaurant. We usually get sushi rolls as my parents are new to eating raw fish. However, what keeps us coming back is the staff. I thought it was closed. Nope! Its very much open and impressive inside. The prices and flavor are so good, getting sushi at the Stater Bros in this plaza feels like ordering vending machine Pepsi when you have a MacDonalds Coke machine a door down. Unbeatable value no matter what you're in the mood for. Gems like Super Sushi are remnants from a kinder age. read more

We dined her for lunch today and upon entering, we were impressed by the cleanliness cordial greeting. Our sushi selections were fresh and excellent. The suonomo was crisp, refreshing and the dressing had the perfect balance of sweet and sour taste. The highlight, menu wise was the unagi sushi. The perfect "dessert" to our meal. Our lovely waitress took the time to explain how everything "except the shoyu) are made in house and the taste reflects that. Best eel sauce is have ever tasted. Went here with a group of friends for our girls night and it was delicious and the perfect spot for our group. Their spicy garlic edamame was a favorite. Our server Sean was so cordial, and accommodating with all our requests and questions about the menu. Genuinely seemed like a nice guy. The owner came out and greeted us as well. My mom goes here every time she gets a chance when she travels down the hill for her VA appointments. And so after trying the sushi my mom brought back, I was impressed. I was moreso impressed upon walking in the door. The staff were friendly, the food was amazing, and the overall ambiance was relaxed. The staff always make it a point to remember their customers which goes a long way in the service industry. read more

I have past by this sushi restaurant and finally went to try it. The service was amazing! everyone was so kind and attentive. It was nice and clean. It is very relaxing place to go to. I decided to go on my lunch and had such a great experience. I tried the spicy garlic edamame it was delicious and I tried the Golden tiger roll also delicious! This sushi place is our favorite place by far of any sushi place in Redlands. The rolls are perfectly made and the ingredients seem fresh and delicious. The service is outstanding and the workers are friendly, kind, welcoming, and very helpful. Not only is the sushi good, but they have a wide variety of rolls to select from. So glad Super Sushi is finally open for indoor dining! Its been about 2.5 years since my wife and I have eaten inside the restaurant and we were excited to come back. Even after that time, David and Andy still recognized us and we spent a few minutes catching up on life and introducing them to our 15 month old son. David and Andy never fail to provide quality food and customer service. We arrived around 5:45 which was perfect since it was just before the dinner rush. We were seated quickly and we ordered a Super Philadelphia Roll, Super Sushi Roll, California Roll and 2 orders of Cajun Seared Ono. The Super Rolls were so good that we forgot to take pictures haha. The portions were generous and so delicious. The California Roll is an excellent value under $5 if you want a filler roll. The Cajun Seared Ono is a must try custom order! read more

My family and I really enjoy going here my wife has gone here since she was kid. The owner of this place is very friendly and loving she and her family really make great food and have great costumer service. I highly recommend coming here for cheap rolls and great food if you want a family friendly place to eat come here. It is a pretty quiet area but it is great place to talk and just hang out after you eat. read more

Great sushi experience every time! The quality of the fish is always FRESH and flavorful. What keeps us coming back is the SPICY TUNA. It's like no other that I have had. Heron has become our friend. I love how she takes the time to connect with the customers and makes sure that they feel welcomed and have everything they need. We appreciate the staffs politeness and attention to detail. First off, I've been a Redlands native for 8 years and I've been on a hunt for great sushi. After driving/walking past Super Sushi hundreds of times, I finally decided to give it a try. When I say I was blown away, I truly mean that. 5/5 service, 5/5 sushi (everything is so fresh), and you can really tell that they care about providing an excellent experience. A special shout out to Sia, who greets regulars like family and will help you get exactly what you need. Hi to Wendy and the new young lady, all keeping a close eye on customer happiness. There are several restaurants in the area, while Niko Niko is tucked away near the water fountains out front. As I arrived, they quickly sat me at the bar area and my typical rainbow roll and I tried their snow cone roll. The rolls were so good and the fish was fresh! I loved the sweet sauce that was added to the snow cone roll. After about 20 mins, the chef, who's name is Yaser, started asking me what my favorite fish is and why I like it. I told him Albacore and he instantly makes me some concoction with ponzu sauce which was fire. He then asked me if I like salmon and I told him yes and he makes me a seared salmon roll with orange sauce and pepper. By this time I'm stuffed but enjoying this experience. He made going to a sushi restaurant interesting again like when I first tried sushi. We start talking about Japan and he ask me if I ever had salmon skin. The staff were nice and it was neat seeing everything prepared right in front of us. I also enjoyed seeing the omakase that the couple next to us had ordered. The space feels pretty underground (because it is), with small windows coverings that I think lend to the ambience. It is a bit tricky to find because it appears closed from the outside, so maybe better signage to slide the door open would be helpful. I'd be interested to try the special rolls that are to-go only. They looked amazing as they were being packed!

I told him Albacore and he instantly makes me some concoction with ponzu sauce which was fire. He then asked me if I like salmon and I told him yes and he makes me a seared salmon roll with orange sauce and pepper. By this time I'm stuffed but enjoying this experience. He made going to a sushi restaurant interesting again like when I first tried sushi. We start talking about Japan and he ask me if I ever had salmon skin. I tell him absolutely not and that when I bake salmon I usually take the skin off. He then tells me that I HAVE to try a salmon skin handroll so I figured I should just go with it. I had the chai latte (so good), a cheese danish (dangerous), and an Everlasting Ferments kombucha...the Habanero Ginger is a sleeper hit. You can also snag breakfast burritos if you're lucky (they sell out), or freshly made stuffed waffles from a vendor outside, which somehow makes the whole experience feel extra charming. There are cute little café tables all around and a tucked-away, walled patio in the back that's perfect for bigger groups. Already planning future coffee dates. I just read Joe Y's review. Joe, your heading says "it takes a big man to cry, and it takes a bigger man to laugh at that man". You are no man at all. You write a ridiculous review filled with bogus accusations about a new place that is fantastic. As I read your comments I was disgusted at the things you said. So let me comment back on some of those things you said. You think the young guy got better service because he is Japanese and so are the chefs. The chefs are Korean you idiot. The fish never smells fishy. When the salmon skin is baked it smells like cooked fish. It's not the sushi. I have seen them cut up the fish as well. So tell me something genius....how do you get blood from an already gutted and cleaned fish fillet? All they do is take the large fillet and cut it down to smaller pieces to serve. And there is nowhere to cut the fillet with their back towards you. So where were you sitting, in the restroom??? Or maybe you were on the floor since you examined it BEHIND THE BAR so closely you saw rice and a hair? Give me a freakin break you moron. I also looked at your profile. After hearing about an all u can eat sushi around loma linda i was on it. I luv sushi. However, Japanese can be racist in a not so obvious way. A japanese kid, maybe 21 years old, sat across from us and his service was just better than what we got. The fish smelled fishy. Now if your sushi is fresh, it would not make a strong fishy odor. Unless u get mackeral or something that is supposed to smell. But what really turned me off was the yelling the staff was doing to each other, our chef seemed intoxicated, and I made a complant with the health dept after literally watching a sushi chef gut a fish with all the blood on the board, than picked up some of the loose guts that fell on the floor and than didn't wash his hands! He gut the fish rite in front of us, his back was towards us so maybe he thought nobody was watching, but there was hair, old rice, oil, just nasty stuff on the ground. And to watch him gut a fish with blood on his hands than go rite to slicing salmon we were eating really took the cake. If u wan't food poisoning, and a chef who's always intoxicated with sake, this place is great for you read more

I haven't been in Redlands for too long, only a couple of months. I've searched around for good sushi places and found a few. But teh one I like the most is Super Sushi on Barton Rd and Alabama in the Stater Bros shopping center. Really good food. Fresh sushi, good service, great prices, nice atmosphere. It all fit into one nice little package and I am very happy with it. Won't go looking anywhere else. This is my new sushi fix place. Go. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did and do. read more

Wow! My husband and I had an incredible lunch here. We both ordered the box lunch special $8.95, hubby got sushi & sashimi which he raved were both incredibly fresh & nice variety. Compared to the other ayce this place sucks . Redlands has good selection including maki Yaki just up the street and their service is better . They watch you like a hawk when you order the Ayce which makes for uncomfortable dining . You also get the sense they don't want you to actually use your three rounds of sushi you pay for. read more

Overall I had a great experience the food was great got there early so there wasn't a lot of people so the atmosphere was great too

Very fresh! Offers all you can eat lunch and dinner options and 1/2 off all sushi rolls all day if you don't want all you can eat!

One of my favorite spots in town, simple menu with a wonderful and welcoming staff. This will always be my go-to sushi spot.
