Amazing!! Actually so delicious, SO much food and reasonable prices. Their birria tacos were spectacular, and their queso was really good and creamy as well. The service was super quick and friendly. If you're craving Mexican in Glenwood Springs, this should be a go-to. Lots of great authentic food.

Most family Mexican restaurants have a similar menu but different levels of execution. Eat here with confidence, the food is incredible, at least my go to dish, the carne asade plate, was extremely high tier. Perfectly cooked beans and delicious rice, then perfectly tender and lightly charred skirt steak. I cleaned my plate.

Honestly this place rocked. We got into town late and this place was able to seat us immediately. Took a little bit to get the food out but it was hot, fresh, authentic, and delicious. Well, was in the area and I was craving Mexican food. Found this spot, conveniently not too far from a business that I had stopped at in this area. Ordered the hardshell taco combo with rice and beans, and my counterpart ordered the Birria plate. The taco plate was ok, flavor could be better for the shredded beef but the taco shells were nice and crispy. The birria on the other hand was very flavorful and not too salty with a plentiful amount of consommé. One odd thing though was the portion sizing, I just thought it would be a little more rice and beans (like other Mexican food places that like it on), but that's ok, just a little odd to me. Great food, Cooked not only perfectly but with love behind it. Few will understand that statement. For those who do not understand this is no ordinary Mexican food restaurant. We went simple with chicken enchiladas and a chicken burrito. The enchiladas were cooked to perfection. Tortillas fried spectacularly then sauced, the chicken was grilled to perfection. The burrito was magnificent, chicken was grilled to perfection and then rolled into the burrito, with the proper fixings. And then sauced. Every bite melted in your mouth properly seasoned and delicious. The staff was/is amazing and accommodatingly bi-lingual my wife and I never felt uncomfortable and felt very at home with the entire dining experience. The layout was magnificent with a fully open, fully lighted and well organized seating. There were a few vibrant tables with much creativity and one maybe two televisions. Sorry I wasn't paying attention to how many televisions there due to enjoying the entire experience. I highly recommend Super Taco as an enjoyable and delicious experience for traditional Mexican food in Glenwood Springs. read more

Was looking for a place to grab some lunch when I happened across this place. I was very pleased I stopped. When they bring out the chips and salsa they also bring out a hot bean and cheese dip which was delicious. The chips are so nice and fresh, I bet they make their own. The place is very small, seats maybe a couple of dozen indoors but there is also outdoor seating. Service was very friendly.

First, the pricing transparency on modifications is frustrating. My son ordered the $12 mac and cheese (which includes a drink). Upon ordering the server offered broccoli or chicken as an option. He chose broccoli, assuming it was a standard side swap or inclusion. Instead, we were charged $1 for the broccoli and an extra $3 for the fruit. Second, drink pricing was a letdown. -For $14 the frosted coconut margarita was served in a short highball glass rather than premium glassware. -I was charged $17.57 for a double Malibu Pineapple, (they added an extra $1 charge just for the pineapple juice mixer). -To top it off, the drink took 12 minutes to arrive because our server was preoccupied with a recently seated large party. Finally, be aware that they add an automatic 3% "Kitchen and Brewer Appreciation" surcharge to the bill, on top of normal tax and tip. While the food was great, the unbundled charges for standard mixers, deceptive side options, and extra surcharges leave a bad taste. Food: Rueben was great. Husband wished for more sauce but I thought it was the perfect balance. Kiddo loved the broccoli and mac. Pro tip: Check your receipt (which we didn't get until *after* we cashed out). Server (who was great, by the way) came to our table in a break from his large table and announced our total so we didn't see the breakdown until the text receipt arrived.
