I came here for lunch because I was craving tacos and this place had really good reviews. There is plenty of parking and plenty of seating inside of the restaurant with your typical hole in the wall/bar atmosphere. I initially placed my order on GrubHub, but found out once I arrived at the establishment that they do not partner or work with GrubHub, which is unfortunate because you're still able to order from them on GrubHub. It was easy to cancel my order so I could get a refund and I just ordered with the gentleman at the bar. The service was quick and friendly hence two stars. I ordered the flautas which are rolled chicken tacos that are fried and topped with lettuce, cheese, crema, pickled jalapeños, and pickled red onions as well as an order of guacamole that comes with chips. The flautas were just ok as most of their flavor came from the pickled vegetables as the chicken tasted unseasoned. The guacamole was old with a lot of brown on top with very soft onions and tomatoes, which tells me that it wasn't made today, even though their menu states that it's made fresh daily. I scraped the brown part off to try and salvage the parts that were fresh as I really wanted to try it and I was starving. The guacamole was very underseasoned as the only thing I could taste in it was the avocado. The chips were stale. My meal came to a total of $28.62 with tax. $14 for the guacamole and $13 for the flautas. Needless to say I won't be back. read more

The ambiance inside was so cute clean and decorative for the Valentines Day season. Lots of balloons, lights and hearts. I love the white booths. They are large and roomie. Bathrooms smelled great and were very clean. We ordered birria quesadillas, the taco combo and bacon wrapped jalapeños . I recommend all the dishes 10/10!!!! The restaurant itself is clean and has a nice ambiance, and the staff and servers are friendly and pleasant. That said, service could definitely be more attentive. On multiple occasions, we had to ask for basic things like utensils because they were forgotten, and servers didn't check on the table as often as they should have. The food also took longer than expected to come out, which felt unnecessary given the type of restaurant. My main issue, though, is the pricing. The food is very expensive for what you get, and the prices don't feel reasonable or justified. On the plus side, the drinks are actually really good. Decided to come here for lunch last Sunday, since we were near BWI airport and wanted to try something new. The booth seating area almost looks like the headboard of a bed (cushiony). Definitely interesting and comfortable, so we liked that. The food was pretty good! I liked that they had complimentary chips and salsa (very good salsa). We had Mexican style tacos (carne asada, al pastor, carnitas, birria, and chicharron). I got a combo, which came with rice and black beans. We really enjoyed all the tacos, except for the chicharron. Although it had good flavor, it was soft and I like my chicharron crispy. We also tried the guacamole, which was really good too. We got seated and a very kind lady approached as our server giving us the menu. Suddenly, a guy with a colored hair came from behind the counter and said out loud, "hey, don't seat them, if they want to eat tell them to order to go not to dine in" (no les sirvas ni los sientes, diles que si quieren que pidan para llevar) Despite the fact, we got seated to a not cleaned booth. Thanks to Larry M. review I decided to give this spot a try... I ordered a "special" which is not apart of the regular menu options. It was Salmon topped with shrimp over mashed potatoes. I enjoyed the ENTIRE meal. The manager, Jenny, brought this sauce to try with the fish. Awesome!!! The salsa was not the best, but they are working to enhance it. I ordered the chile relleno with shrimp--I found it to be overly salty and covered with cheese. So much cheese that I had to scrape it to the side only to find...nothing else really there? The chili wasn't the largest and honestly, I didn't even know when I ate it since I couldn't taste it. I thought I had found a new favorite spot. My family and I visited this restaurant on Saturday evening and enjoyed the food, service, and ambiance so much that we decided to order takeout on Sunday. On Saturday, we ordered Birria Tacos, Guacamole, Queso, Chicken Quesadilla, Milkshakes, and a large platter that included fish, calamari, fries, and more. The bill totaled over $215. As I mentioned, the Birria Tacos and Milkshakes were so good that we decided to order the same items for takeout on Sunday, along with trying the Shrimp Tacos. When my fiancé returned home with the food, I noticed that the Birria Tacos were missing the dipping sauce and the strawberry milkshakes had no flavor. I called the restaurant to report these issues, and after being placed on hold without a resolution, I suggested coming in to pick up the missing sauce and get replacements for the milkshakes. When I arrived at the restaurant, they refused to replace the milkshakes because I hadn't brought the original ones back (It was cold outside, and I didn't want to carry the milkshakes). They still wouldn't replace them. I couldn't believe it. This level of customer service is unacceptable. I had already driven back to the restaurant to retrieve the missing sauce and hadn't even asked for compensation, yet they still wouldn't replace the milkshakes. I also mentioned to the person helping me that I had dined there the night before and spent over $200, but he didn't care. I was floored. My friend got a pineapple agua fresca that I tasted that was also delicious. Try the avocado green sauce and onions that they put out on the center of the table with the tacos. I wasn't a big fan of the brown sauce because it tasted bitter to me, but the other two were great. Overall a great find and glad we came. read more

Super Tacos has risen to be the only Mexican spot I go to in the area, and if you live near Glen Burnie, you know there's plenty of options. I mostly get the chimichanga- carnitas, chorizo or barbacoa are my favorites-- are all served up hot and crispy with a nice covering of tasty queso. I've also had the birria tacos a number of times, and this is also an amazing version of this Instagram cult classic. I've only had the house margarita, which is decent, but I come here for the delicious food, not to drink. Minor quibbles: on repeat visits, you will realize the salsa, for better or worse, is different every time. At least you know it's being made fresh! And I wish there was some sensible way to add beans and rice to an order of tacos without spending another $7/ 8 for those (cheap) sides. And I wish there was a mole burrito bc I had the enchiladas and those were incredible and I want to put the mole sauce on everything! A few weeks ago, some friends and I were debating on which of our usual taco joints we wanted to go to, and had decided against the top choice because we wanted a margarita and they didn't serve alcohol. We were indecisive on the other options, so instead decided to look up a new taco spot and try something different. I am SO HAPPY we discovered Super Tacos. It is now ranked among my favorites for tacos, and generally wins top spot because it has both great tacos and great margaritas. All of my other local spots I've tried have one or the other. Super Tacos is a one-stop-shop. The service has never been super quick, but the staff there is so nice and the food/drink so good that it doesn't matter! Double win. We came here on a Friday night and I was so thrilled that it wasn't packed with people. Loved that they served their tacos in a single corn tortilla that somehow didn't break apart on me! They give a good quantity of meat that has some fantastic flavor. Every time I've gone since then, I get the 3 authentic tacos and remain consistently satisfied with each one that I try. A friend got the quesadillas which were good, and another got the steak fajitas. He loved the fajitas especially because they gave you all colors of peppers. Also ordered the bacon wrapped jalapeno appetizer... this is more like a meal. The jalapenos were enormous. If you like a jalapeno and bacon, you can't go wrong here. We were going to split a pitcher of margaritas, but were told they didn't have a pitcher. This actually worked out just great, because their margaritas are pretty big and getting three of them was probably the same price and quantity of a pitcher. They may have been the house margarita, but they were soooo good, not so overloaded with mixer like some places, and simply delicious. Definitely don't need to order anything fancier off the drink menu, although I keep getting tempted by the Paloma. Maybe some day, but when you want a margarita... it's hard to deviate. Not worth it... My boyfriend and I went here on a lunch date because we had read YELP reviews recommending it. Sadly we were very disappointed with the overall experience. I had ordered the Quesadilla which was very plain, and lacked any flavor compared to any other Quesadilla I've ever ordered ($15). He ordered Empanadas which were tasty, but the portion was super SUPER small (it was only $12 so I'm not very upset with that but definitely not worth it). We ordered 2 Horchatas which were mediocre but I was not aware each drink would be charged for refills!!! I ended up paying $20 for two refills for each of us. My waitress wasn't very welcoming, and it honestly felt like she didn't want to be there. The restaurant was completely empty and we weren't treated as if they wanted us to have a good experience. The most times the waitress came to check on us was for the check back. I don't recommend this restaurant to anyone who's had authentic hispanic food, or anyone who has taste buds. I saw all the raving reviews, so I had to check it out. I will preface this review: I am a foodie and expect the food to blow me away, to get a high star rating. Chips and Salsa The chips came out warm, which I appreciate freshly made chips. They were a little thick for me, I prefer very thin chips. Overall, decent chips. The salsa with it was very bland and had no flavor hints. It tasted like they puréed tomatoes forgetting to include the other ingredients. Birria Tacos For the signature dish of the place I expected this to be off the charts. The meat tasted like it was boiled, it was extremely bland and very tough; inedible. The broth with it had no flavor. I paid an up charge for them to add cheese. Which of the person told me there was a charge I would've foregone the cheese. I do not recommend. Queso with chorizo The chorizo was delicious! Flavorful, juicy, chorizo was on point. The cheese reminded me of velveeta, which for the price is concerning if it is. Hopefully it was real cheese and just had that appearance? Chimichanga filled with Chorizo The chorizo was delicious, flavorful and juicy. The crust was fried perfectly, a nice golden brown. The rice reminded me of Uncle Ben's. The black beans were made well. The cheese inside was melted and lots of it, which I like. This was the saving grace for this place. I would say skip everything else and get only this. Customer service The staff were nice. I told her if there is a charge for the cheese, to leave it off since I was getting the queso dip. This was lost in the language barrier, which isn't a big deal just an observation. Price They are stupid expensive for mediocre food. $14 for velveeta like cheese dip was ridiculous. The portion size of the dip did not equate to the price either. I spent $60 and only had one item that was good. That's unacceptable to me. I won't be back, I should have gone next door to Mission and spent a quarter of the money and got consistently delicious food. So welcome here maybe monthly, if not more because my sister lovesthr Birria tacos. We went on a taco Tuesday day. They had specials, but didn't include shrimp, that was disappointing. The server was okay, but missed some items with our order and didn't get some of our order correct. The restaurant was clean, music wasn't too loud. I checked in on this app and was given a free churros. They had no clue how or where it came from, after ahowingbrhemnon multiple phones, even theirs, they finally honored the original one. Consistently one of the best places to eat. The staff is always super friendly and responsive. The food is fantastic. Warm fresh chips and smoky spicy salsa. The Sopa Aztecs is a meal in and of itself. Love the Nachos. Packed with plenty of chicken and rarely a chip left on the plate without queso. The tacos are authentic and delicious. The burritos are filled so that they almost burst open. Highly recommend this Glen Burnie gem. read more

Three solid Stars means that eventually I will be back and give them another chance. Let's start with the pros the first pro was we were immediately brought what tasted like freshly cooked tortilla chips and some pretty good salsa. I decided to give the Barbacao tacos a chance. Once they came out and I bit into one I immediately regretted it as the meat was a bit tough and not as flavorful as I remember it to be. Also when you check into this establishment on Yelp it offers a free churro. I was actually excited about this I never use or ask about free check-in's with Yelp but I did with this one because churros are awesome. When I asked the waitress about it she just said " oh no". What does that mean? I'm not sure if she didn't understand me and if she didn't she should've went and got someone so that what I was asking for could've been made very clear yes or no. Other than that the service was pretty good she checked on us and make sure our water glasses stayed for an asked us was our food OK. That's where my tacos like I said the meet was a bit tough and didn't have as much flavor as I remember that type of meat to typically have. Also the tacos themselves were only in one corn tortilla this makes it really hard when there are juices in grease and usually corn tortilla will start to rip. This is why typically with street tacos you're given two shells not just one. I also was not overly impressed with the taste of mines or my hubby's carne asada. All in all I will be back and give them another chance. read more
