This is such a cool spot! It's the type of store you can go into and always find something new to look at. It's a mix of vintage dishes, clothes and home items as well as plants and products from local makers and business owners. You can find furniture, clothes, dishes, decorations, artwork and more. I love that so many small businesses are represented with spaces dedicated to their products. There was coffee, candles, jewelry, hand made clothing, up-cycled clothing, original art and these displays were from local people in our community. There's also a good mix of affordable items and higher priced items and sets which make for a great treasure hunt. They have plants throughout the business which adds a great touch, and if you fall in love you can buy some. This will definitely become a regular stop for us so we can browse and discover new local products and pieces for our home. read more

Great store, I first saw them on IG, they had a cool chair I wanted. When I finally got there a few days later the chair was gone. Not surprised since the price was very fair. The owner was cool, telling me about the upcoming move and her ever changing stock. There were kids in the store being obnoxious, but since she belonged to me, and was 30 yrs old, I gave the owner a pass. Maybe Mathew mistook his kids for hers like I did. Under one roof you will find individual booths selling vintage pieces to new candles and jewelry. It's clean and well-lit. Booths are maintained and goods are merchandised well. It doesn't look haphazard. You will see some vintage clothing, shoes and accessories along with household goods and decor. Prices are high. If you find a "deal" you'll be lucky. But maybe you'll find something you've been looking for and it will be in good condition and you'll add it to your collection or wardrobe. Street parking available. The block where this business is located has a cafe and a coffeehouse across the street so you could make an afternoon of it if you wanted to. I have been to Superbum plant company several times now, for various reasons. The first thing that drew me in on my very first visit was a desire to acquire more house plants. I loved how friendly and engaging the staff were and knowledgeable about the products. After my first visit, I ended up leaving with three separate house plants in beautiful, unique pots, as well as a couple pieces of artwork to hang throughout my house. I have been back a couple times now to acquire more house plants as well as more artwork. This is definitely a fun space to just peruse and see a variety of local artists and their products. They offer everything from vintage clothing to plants to framed artwork and handmade goods. There are candles and jewelry. If you're looking to shop local this holiday season, I would highly recommend giving this place a visit. read more

OMG, OMG, OMG! What a find! I happen to be in the area for something else, and walked into this magnificent place. I saw the sign and figured it was a plant shop. They had me at that. But then when I walked in, and I saw that they had probably 30 booths, or so, maybe more, of local artisans' wares, I didn't want to leave! I live a distance away, but if I lived closer, I would probably drop by every week or two. I'm fairly sure that the inventory is vastly different every time you visit. They have so many things in addition to plants. They sell vinyl records for those of you old enough to know what those are. There are also several vendors that sell vintage clothing and antiques! So many things! check out my pictures! If you are into plants, they have a lot of things that typically grow very well. I didn't see anything that I would call temperamental or ridiculously hard to grow. Prices were reasonable. The plants were very healthy, which I really appreciate it! The staff is amazing. This is without a doubt the coolest plant shop I have ever been to. The plants are plentiful and gloriously healthy, the owners are delightful and so helpful, the vibe is very cool and eclectic, and there are a lot of vintage items for sale, with some very cool alternative plant containers and plant art, plus the music was so fun, and super bonus: there is a shop dog and he is crazy sweet! I can hardly wait to go back! Ps-I bought this gorgeous polka dot begonia today and I'm in love. Edit to add: I think the plant prices here are very fair. Plants are expensive these days, the end. I think the quality of the plants here is exceptional, and they are clearly loved and very well taken care of. read more

Superbum is at the location of East Sacramento Hardware, a business we miss very much. But if ESH had to go, at least it was replaced by a fun shop instead of turning into a video arcade or something. This place seems to operate largely on a consignment basis, with vintage clothing, home decor items, knickknacks, old 33RPM vinyl and so on from various sellers. If you can't find a gift here, you aren't trying hard enough. I can always find jewelry made by local artisans which my wife always loves, and I've found some good used CDs (although lately they've had only vinyl). It's a wide-ranging assortment and we always find something we have to have there. The staff are pleasant too, recommended shop. read more

What a fun little visit! I had read recommendations to check this place out, and I am so glad I did! The store is even larger than I anticipated and there are various different corners and nooks and crannies to check out! I had a great time seeing the really unique and special curated items they had, and picked myself up a vintage morrocan purse and a stack of brass bangles, all for about $50! I think this I my favorite store ever. Definitely up there. It's an eclectic mix of vintage clothes, antique items, plants, records, and new items from local artisans. We found so many great things here and can imagine coming regularly for new finds. Plants good quality but a lot of the same- buyer clearly loves pink :). My only complaint is that the plant prices were high. Maybe they were hard to find varieties and "worth it" but I had a hard time with the prices for most. Only one employee working but she kept up a kind friendly and knowledgeable chatter to everyone in the store! read more

This spot used to be a hardware store. What the new owners have done to this space is absolutely fantastic! Plants, records, jewelry, art, vintage clothes and other textiles, art, etc. Purchased a super old, beautiful lamp. Was a little funky and wouldn't stay on. Owner shared that it was priced at exactly what she purchased for at an estate sale, no profit for her. Ultimately we purchased it and fixed it and love it! Everyone is super kind, helpful, and local. Don't miss this gem and plan for extra time when you get there. I'm likely going to be a regular now. :) read more
