TERRIBLE, i went in for a light trim at the shoulders and wolf cut, they said they would give me a light trim but no wolfcut since i have damaged hair which i was fine with but the stylist cut way past my shoulders and into my middle neck part which is a lot of hair, the stylist completely didnt follow the picture that i showed and went with their own thoughts. read more

I went in for a haircut and beard trim. The haircut was fine. For the beard, I showed an Italian-style reference. A few mistakes happened early, and it reached a point of no return and I was fine because hair always grows back and there are alternatives. The first stylist wasn't confident and passed it to someone else, who was actually polite and tried to fix it. After things went wrong, she asked for an expert advice and called an old lady named Marie. Instead of understanding or comprehending what we were trying to fix, the old lady was rude, dismissive, raised her voice in front of everyone, and made it about paying the $15, which I never refused and wasn't even the topic of discussion. On top of that, she told me to go to another barber next time. I'll definitely do that and ensure my family, friends, and community won't bother her either. Additionally, she was demanding and begging for a tip from the previous customer when I entered the store. That customer was an indian and I could see him being so uncomfortable. She didn't even give him time to think and when he offered a different card, she refused to respect the customer's wish and used the card she already had in her hand. It looks like she gets away with stuff like this with her loud voice and also it looks like half the make up in that store is on her. I wish the universe blessed her with some ethics, moral values and common sense! I think that's why people say - Stick to your own barber! read more

When I checked in, I was given an estimate for what my service would cost. I appreciated that. My stylist was friendly. She worked with care. When a slew of customers showed up while she was working, she showed no anxiety and didn't appear to begin to rush. When my service was complete, I was given some advice on maintaining it. I'd usually come here for trims which took them under five minutes and cost about ten bucks. They have recently removed their trim option and now charge you a full super cut price for several minutes worth of work. Maria is amazing ! she's the best asset to this location! please give her a raise she absolutely has been giving me the best haircuts since i've met her over 10 years ago ! i've been to many high end salons and none have given me the service she has ! A+++++ the only negative experience i would have is with a woman named Pam. she claims she's been with the location for 6 months i've never seen her. upon arriving and waiting for Maria she abruptly tried correcting me when i was entering my phone number first for my points and tried directing me to sign in on the sign in sheet first. when i didn't follow her direction immediately she became agitated and rude. she was highly inappropriate and wouldn't recommend her at this location. she's unwelcoming, unprofessional and very condescending. at this point i hope to never have contact with her again in the future. everyone else in the salon is professional, friendly, and inviting. Pam needs to find a career that doesn't involve helping clientele, maybe a garden center. read more

I stopped in to get a simple trim. I have been growing my hair out for years and had a few split ins and figured what the heck, why not just stop in really quick? 7.5 inches and $80 later after an expensive salon had to fix the damage they did, I can say I'm on the long road to making an emotional recovery. I have never had a worse haircut by a more clueless hair dresser in all of my life. She was shaking, completely insecure and had no idea what she was doing. After she hacked into the front of my hair and took a 6 inch chunk out in an effort to give me "face framing" which I didn't even ask for, she took a step back and realized that she messed up bad. I wish I could have taken a picture to frame the expression on her face (pun intended). She even said "oh my gosh this looks horrible I'm so sorry- I don't know what I'm doing and I'm going to get the manager to help me" but it was too late. The manager came over and asked her what the heck happened, and then told me she would blend it but it was passed the point of recovery and everybody knew it. The manager tried to make me feel better by telling me to "look at how bad my hair looks!! See it's fine I'm fine!!" I'm not even kidding, I wish I was. So, I'm rocking a bob now and popping hair growth pills like theirs M&Ms. Thanks for the best story and the worse experience of my young adult life, super cuts! Also; thank you for making me pay for it. After acknowledging you screwed the pooch, making me pay actual dollars for it is something I think about as I try to sleep at night. So, we asked for a layered, angled cut and it was horrible. The stylist was nice enough but I should've known that she was not capable of doing a good layer cut when she started cutting straight across and it was all sorts of messed up. I would've preferred if she had just said that she wasn't able to do this and got someone that could actually do a cut instead of paying for something that turned out terrible. I went in, praying at the back of my head to get a stylist that won't leave me crying after. I signed in and didn't request for a stylist. There was a bunch of people that went in before me so I had to wait -- and it was the most productive wait ever cos I saw how Maria was working with the others and realized "Hey, I want that too!" so I went back to the reception and wrote her name down for my service. Maria was very nice and professional! I felt so comfortable with her. She knew exactly what to do with my hair. She even asked me a couple times if I was sure of what I wanted. In the end, I eventually followed what she suggested and I AM SO IMPRESSED WITH HOW IT TURNED OUT!!!!!!! I swear this review doesn't even do justice. I can definitely say I left very happy! Everyone was accomodating in the salon and has a pretty, nice vibe to it so this is definitely where I'd be going to from now on. I've been coming to this Super Cuts for a year. I've never had a bad experience. I'm always greeted kindly when I walk in. I'm always a walk-in, my wait time is 10 minutes, or less. Usually 1 person ahead of me. My hair cuts are usually done fast and accurate. Just a trim off the length. Clean up the layers. Done! I'm in and out quickly. The parking lot is great. It's in an HEB shopping center, so plenty of parking. They do take phone call appointments and there is an app you can download too. Also if you give your phone number and have it on file with them, they keep track of how many hair cuts you have gotten. I believe get 9 and you're 10th is free. They also randomly send a text to you for coupons. read more
