Heck, I stopped shampooing it about 5 years ago, my last hair cut was at least 2 years ago and my idea of a treatment is the occasional dollar store box of hair color when I'm feeling a tad "wild." Thankfully, I've been blessed with really happy healthy hair despite all of this but I wanted to try something new and never having "lightened" my hair before I didn't want to do it at home. Enter Majestix Salon and Aeh. When I first told Aeh I wanted to do something with my hair I REALLY REALLY wanted to do a blue ombre (go big or go home right?). Well, my work was less than pleased with this idea and told me absolutely not. So we settled on "lightening" my hair in increments so that by the time I am done with school and ready to switch jobs I can go straight to blue. Holy cow I love the way it turned out. My normally super dark hair now has movement, life, warmth and it just makes me happy. Not to mention Aeh trimmed off all ends without taking much length off my hair at all. Bottom line, my hair looks fantastic and I can't wait to see what she does as we slowly lighten it over the next few months in preparation for my blue 'do!
