My appointment was on March 10 with Lexi. This was my second visit with her. For the first visit, the focus was a hair color and trim. For this visit, I wanted my hair cut into a chin length bob. I provided pictures to her of what I wanted for reference. I left the salon thinking all was good, but after washing my hair for the first time, I noticed that there was a huge chunk of hair cut from a section of right back side of head. It was as if Lexi cut a rectangular shape over my ear, but shifted it towards the back. I chose not to call the salon to obtain a correction cut from Lexi, because it quite bad. Instead, I decided to pay the extra cash to have an experienced stylist address the issue. I also waited two months to post this review to minimize the vitriol it would have originally contained if I posted it the day I discovered the error. My advice to those reading this. Ask the stylist if they have done short hair before. If all you see on their social media sites are women with long hair, then be cautious. read more

Huge disappointment. While the stylist was really nice, it wasn't until after my first wash at home that I realized the layers were more like chunks, making my bob look like it had terraces. Plus, she overlooked several pieces of hair during the cut, so I have sections that are two inches longer than the rest of my bob. When I called only 12 days later requesting a correction cut, the salon wasn't willing to accommodate; they said their window was 7-10 days...despite the fact we had a blizzard during that timeframe! That window needs to be advertised. Then again, one would hope that a correction cut isn't required in the first place. I really wanted to like this place, but I cannot recommend this. I'm heartbroken because I have major health issues and very little time between treatments; this haircut was a big deal for me, but I now have to look for another place and pay full price because of this salon's incompetence. paid nearly $150 to have my hair turned orange by a supposed "expert in highlights," and it looked nothing like what i asked. i felt terrible every time i looked in the mirror. went to Xenon to have it fixed two days later because they broke they bank and even the student did a monumentally better job than the hairstylist i had. thank god they were able to save my hair. cuts are good, don't get your hair highlighted here unless you're sure the stylist knows what they're doing. read more

I have lived in Omaha 1.5 years now. I've had three haircuts at three different places. I hated each of those haircuts. I chose the salons based on location and reviews. Each of those haircuts resulted in handing my bf scissors and demanding help. I just looked at my poor hair and decided I need a good haircut. I went to a place that was beat home hoping for the best. Felicia was my hair dresser and she did a great job! Best hair cut in Omaha and we talked dogs the whole time! My hair was so dry and I deeply needed a trim from those split ends. I usually frequent great clips (don't do it.) by the time I got my hair washed cut and styled it cost more than it was worth. I decided to give this place a go and was astounded when I messaged their FB page at 1030 at night and surprisingly received a message back as well as a follow up the next morning with available appointments. I was given two appointments as requested for a friend and I. We were offered beverages and good conversation. Our stylist was Gemma, I scoured the reviews good and bad looking for a little insight on how it would go. After my mid morning encounter with Ms. Rude at Salon Ink in LaVista (that's another review) I found two very kind ladies at the Hair Place who set me up with a hair appointment. The salon was inviting. I was offered a beverage. I enjoy lively conversation with all the ladies near me to include my beautician, Brandy and best of all, got a ombré and cut that deserves acknowledgement. Jenny is the best. Been going here for a few years now. She cuts my hair. Cause I ask her to, it would be weird if she did it against my will. That wouldn't be good at all. But she cuts my hair exactly like I want, even better than I want usually. Cause I hardly ever know exactly what I want. But she gets that. Oh, she's also the bestest at eyebrows. Not raising them, but ripping them out. Again, because I asked her to! She never makes me look perpetually surprised or anything. Just beautiful. She helps me look beautiful. So I am new to the area and was In dire need for a haircut, I did my usual and snooped around the reviews on here for all of the local haircut places. This one had the best by far. Here's the scoop with this place so bear with me, this salon has different levels of stylists who all sport their own individual prices for a haircut for example Stylist Lv 1,2,3 etc... this goes up to 5 and it is based merely on experience so do keep that In mind. Along with this they do only take appointments I believe at this time due to covid and all that, do remember that you do have to wear a mask when you enter as well as when you get your hair cut. As for my first hand personal experience I was paired with Madi who is a wonderful stylist if I may add, she's only a lv 2 but that did not render her skills in giving me a really nice and stylish haircut that suited my needs! And remember if it doesn't look right all you have to do is let the stylist know instead of going home angry that you didn't say anything!!The overall establishment is very aesthetically pleasing and the staff is very friendly. read more
