I got my eyebrows done there. I'll accept it was my fault I looked in the mirror when she was done without my glasses, but omg! All I asked for was a cleanup. They brows were uneven, there were thick pieces of hair left in place that clearly should have been waxed off. I called the salon to make a complaint. I asked for her to feather the sides, a tiny trim of Bangs and back. I had a bob hairstyle when I went in. I now have a boys haircut. My Bangs are too short. I no longer have a bob. I look ridiculous. I don't think this young girl knew what she was doing. She must be brand new. This cut is awful and has NO style at all. I am leaving on vacation in a few days and I look like an idiot. I'd tell her name, but she never told me. I will NEVER go to this Supercuts at Drum Hill Chelmsford again. Stopped at this salon on a whim because I need to get my hair straightened and everything was closed and I was SOO happy I did!!! Angelica and her team was so professional and ready. The place is very friendly, organized, clean and well run that I just may skip my over priced salon and make this place my new place. Well done ladies!! I took my 5-year-old son to get a simple haircut today at Supercuts in Chelmsford, MA. I showed the haircutter a photo of the style I wanted for my son, but she just gave him a basic boys haircut, not even close to resembling the photo that I showed her. If they cannot cut/style from photos, then they should not accept the task. I see that someone complained about the same topic on this page, not coming close to resembling photos. The next cut/style will be from elsewhere however, the Chelmsford Supercuts should be more honest and stop agreeing to cutting/styling according to photos as they cannot handle it or perhaps they are just not trained in this field of cutting/styling from photos. read more

Okay, I'm just going to admit that I love this place and get that out of the way now. There's no sense beating around the bush or hiding my true feelings... *sniff sniff* I... I love you Supercuts... *sniff* Whew... got that out of the way. Serious though, this place has been great and I've been coming here since I moved into the area (just under 5 years now). They've always been nice and professional, and always provide a great service, and I've sat with several different girls here. All doing mostly doing a great job. And yes, I know I just threw the word mostly out there... but there has been one or two that just couldn't get the style/cut right... but then SAVED!! Because they're not afraid to admit defeat, then ask another stylist for help. I've always left with a good cut, and feeling good about the money spent. And I'm in here pretty regular too - military + fast hair growth = bad combination. Or... = great business for hair place. :-P They do a great job, at a comfortable/low cost, and their all very friendly and helpful (not to mention cute!). Sorry, can't complain about a little cute/eye candy when I make my regular visits. LOL If you don't know (as a guy) how short you want it they'll always help you out or get you started and make adjustments on the fly. As Katie said, they have a lot of products available for purchase as well. So if you like something they used on your hair, you can pick up the exact product and take it home for use. One more quick note, I've never had a crazy wait time here, although typically Sundays have been the longest (maybe 10 to 15 mins?). Nothing to painful, and they have books/toys for the kids, or magazines and hair books for the adults... as well as a mounted TV which is normally on the Local News or Kids Programming (i.e. cartoons). Overall, this is a great place with friendly staff, that provides quality work for no crazy price tag. I'd recommend giving them a try and seeing for yourself first hand. :) read more

I have never had a problem at this supercuts location. It's cheap, they do a great job, and they are always super friendly. I have a TON of hair and I can't see spending 60 bucks for a cut when I can go here and get the same thing for 15. Everyone is always shocked when I say I got a haircut at supercuts. I went in today for a wash and blow dry and noticed it was $20 for a blow dry and $5 for a wash. So I made an appointment and try took me right in. She finished with in 20 mins and I walked out paying $45 for a wash and blow dry. My hair is medium length. I am very unhappy and will never return again! read more

I brought my 81 year old mother in to have a wash, blow dry and set (as she phrases it). She has a regular hairdresser who is on vacation this week and her hair needed a refresher. I will also note that her hair is very short, so not a lot of work involved. Her regular hairdresser charges $18.00 for this service. She was charged $35.00 for this service which I think is a bit high - no haircut involved. While the stylist who did her hair was very nice - and her hair looks nice, I would not bring her back for the amount that she was charged. My fault for not asking first. read more

I have been here a few times and Kerry does a great job.. Last week I was charged $15 dollars..5 for the shampoo and 10 for the blow dry.. It cost more when they use "Hot tools." So today I was charged $25.00, when I asked why the increase, they told me a round brush was considered a "hot tool." Really??? Since when does a brush get plugged in??? well, my first time at supercuts. and you know what...it wasn't that bad. i couldn't get seen at my regular place, and since i only get my hair cut in massachusetts i thought i would give it a try before heading back to the bay area. my girl was nice, knowledgeable and fun to talk to. she even talked me into a new paul mitchell product, who by the way does not test his products on animals. rock on paul. but yeah, supercuts for a 14 dolla trim is okay with me. read more

The whole point of their online check in system is to avoid the wait and know EXACTLY (within a few minutes, of course) when you need to be at the store. So, if you show up at the time you've been instructed to only to find out that you're still going to have a 30 minute wait, that's just completely unacceptable. I will NEVER be using a Supercuts again with such a dishonest business practice. read more

Hair "stylists" simply do not listen to what a customer requests..they seem to be adept at basic cuts in 15 minutes or less but, little else. Not the most friendly or personable. I get that making small talk may be a challenge, day after day however; no small talk or courteousness is just rude. read more

So, normally I'd give this joint a three or four stars. However, I feel very strongly about my last interaction with them. I asked, ahead of time, how much it would cost to get some color for my bangs and the sides of my face. I wanted it to be blonde, but specified "work in an office appropriate" and "subtle". We discussed the matter even further, and the word "Carmel" was mentioned. Which was fine. Of course, when the towel came off, it was bleach white. Stick straight because they'd stripped so much color off of it, rough to the touch, bleached. The original stylist realized I was shocked (my gasped "oh, dear God" might have had something to do with it) and said we could fix it. While she was mixing something up in the back, the other stylists assured me that "Oh, no. The blonde had never been the goal. It was merely a step to get my color out." Fine. I can accept that. In fact, I can accept ALL of that without a whit of problem. I mean, it's not an exact science, right? No, really. To go lighter like that. I have a serious problem, however, when I get get told "Since you made us do this other thing, it's going to cost more than we told you." And when I get conflicting answers about whether their "fix" will wear out after several washes. Never ever going back. read more

I was going to a wedding so I want to threat my self for a nice wash and blow dry. I am very disappoint and felt very let down that I went to this salon, I got this tall blond lady washing my hair like I roughly and dreadful, it feels awful she was just rushing through the process like she didn't want to do my hair, after she brushed my hair so rough like I was a dog, I was so upset. After blow dry my hair she suggested I get a hair cut so I agreed but my hair dry already so when she cut my hair, all of the baby hairs fell all over my head and body, I couldn't stand the itchiness I went home and wash my hair Again my self and straighten it instead.
