Was in town for a wedding and needed a last minute hair cut. Thankfully Nancy promptly took me as a walk in, but then proceeded to do me dirty. She buttered me up in true midwestern fashion. Told me how thick my hair was and then went into the "science" of texturizing my hair and how I was a good candidate. I was a sucker for her hospitality. What I didn't realize is Nancy had no idea how to blend hair and left me looking like a bridge troll. Right after I tipped $7, I crop dusted her and exited the store. Went there for years but their prices have gotten to crazy. My location in holland Michigan charges $29 for a buzz cut squared in the back. That used to cost $14 before COVID hit. Their prices are to high. I have no choice but to go elsewhere. read more

I asked for chunky highlights with a dark undertone, wanting my highlights very light, platinum blonde and stressed money pieces definitely be highlighted. My hair is far darker, highlights are barely noticeable and definitely not chunky. Money pieces are probably the darkest part of my hair rather than lightest! I HATE IT! It's nothing at all what I asked for. Stylist never talked to me about my hair condition bottom 4 inches so just did nothing at all to that part of my hair. I should've been consulted on this, but she took it upon herself to do this without saying a word. I did complain to her and then the assistant manager and manager were standing there defending her.. Liz was the stylist. I wouldn't have taken money for my hair to look like this let alone be charged $92 to dislike it more than when I went in. They told me to go back in 7 days as I wanted it blonder not darker, but I live in Minnesota so obviously not an option. Was told to pay for it ir police would be called. I left there in tears. Very rude stylist and manager acted as if this were a joke. Worst experience of my life and now I'm stuck paying a lot of money for hair I didn't want and to be treated horribly. I will never go back and wouldn't recommend this place to an enemy. I like most women went there to leave feeling better definitely not to feel mistreated and leave feeling ugly and upset. Thank you for this horrible experience and awful treatment and hair I'm ashamed to look at or be seen in public. Very rude, unhelpful people who made me feel worse. Bad atmosphere and horrible customer service! Laughed as they handed me a phone number to someone above them who's apparently on vacation but answers her phone. Left 3 messages. I'm not rich and can't afford to fix the mistakes made by this stylist, zero empathy, zero ability to admit her wrongdoing and made me feel like I had done something wrong, no offer of discount, or not to charge me knowing it was impossible for me to come back here from Minnesota for it to be fixed in 7 days. I couldn't be more upset and depressed when I was looking to feel better worst place I've ever been in my life and first time ever I was upset enough to complain immediately to stylist assistant manager and manager. This place is impossible to reach via telephone; the manager just says "Yeah, you can't call us." And the manager was rude to my son, and to me. But, with all that said, on June 13, 2023, at this location, a woman named Alison gave me, for $17 and in like six minutes, the best haircut I have ever received in my entire life. After a very bad experience with Goldiloxx of Holland I was advised by a family member to try Supercuts. I was very excited with the service I received at the location close to Wal-Mart. All 3 women were very friendly and treated my mother with the upmost respect. Holly did a beautiful job with her hair as well as with the cut I requested. She was very knowledgeable and shared her knowledge with us. She loves her job and it shows in her workmanship. read more

I really hope the "stylist" I got was not representative of the others at this place, but good God, was she awful. Sure, it was nice to be done within ten minutes, but after looking in the mirror, I could see why. She missed spots above my ear, didn't even out the back, and didn't even take 20 seconds to blow off the hair that she had so poorly cut. I really enjoyed driving with my head outside the window in 30 degree air to avoid the inside of my car looking like the floor of a barbershop. The other stylist in the place at the time was working on a customer when I arrived, and we finished at the same time. She took time to cut his hair, and blow it off at the end. Whatever you do, avoid the *ahem* larger brunette girl. She's just terrible. read more

I have been here from time to time. Mostly because it is convenient and you can usually walk right in. I have to say the last couple visits I have had Allison cut my hair. I am not a cookie cutter hair fan. Today she listened to what I wanted.. and gave me exactly the cut I wanted. I got a shampoo and cut, the only negative thing I could say is that she didn't ask if I wanted product in my hair and she only hit it with the blow dryer for less than a minute. 5 Starts plus to Supercuts in Holland. I have been getting my hair cut for over a year and every cut is perfect. Everyone is so nice and friendly. I call my stylists Holly and Erin my hair BFFs. They do a wonderful job. The tree tea shampoo and scalp massage is great. I highly recommend this salon. read more

I don't even want to give this salon 1 star. Walked in and asked for a blow dry and shampoo, and got the miserable worker Becky. As soon as she began to blow drying my hair it began to slowly turn into a giant frizz ball, as she was severely frying my hair. I noticed this happening so made a comment to see if that should be happening, and she said it was fine. Then she proceeded to question another stylist about how to correctly style my hair with the blow dryer. I overheard her and told her I would show her the way i usually do it, and with that she reacted by saying I know what I am doing, when clearly she didn't if she was asking someone else in the first place. After entirely ruining one section of my hair, I told her if it was okay I would just finish it myself at home, so no further damage would be applied. The shampoo and condition was only around 5$ but with the blow dry it was 14.95$ and she rudely charged me for everything when she did absolutely nothing but ruin my hair. I don't know about the other stylists there but Becky is surely someone that nobody should trust with their hair. Overall, I was very displeased with her and I hope nobody else has to endure what I went through. She has no people skills and clearly should rethink being a hairstylist because she has no skills with hair either hope this keeps people from trying Becky read more
