I will do my best to use her whenever I need a touch up. She was talkative without being too chatty and she was quick with the scissors. This was my second time here. Like before, I wanted a straight forward, basic cut. The wait wasn't too bad. My stylist was a sour puss, though. She never smiled once or spoke to me other than to direct me to turn my head, etc. I stood the entire time while she cut my hair. Granted, my hair was very long, but it's been the same length the last few times I've had it cut and I never had the stylist have me stand while she cut my hair. In fact, I have never in my life had to stand throughout my haircut. Weird. I doubt I'd go back here since I don't want to end up with the same grumpy stylist. Went in for a very much needed hair cut. Kat took really good care of me. She was very gentle with the scissors and machine. She even recommended a great hair product(Nioxin) for my light hair loss. Worst experience in my life. Came in for trim, and gray root touch up. Was there 2.5 hours. Was started with a cut with one stylist, she was friendly. Then had to wait for color. Kat did the color. She started by blow drying my hair, putting the dryer too close to my scalp, holding it one spot for too long, burning my scalp. I jerked my head, and said ouch. She didn't seem to care, just said the quick dryers are hot. I tried to remain friendly, but really should have left. She did my color, and then went about cutting others hair, first fixing up her hair. Then her boyfriend came in for a cut,I felt I was there a little longer than I should. The timer went off, and she told her boyfriend she had to rinse my hair. She asked if I would like her to style it, I said no. Once finished she handed me a towel. to dry my hair, left with sopping wet hair. She didn't even take my payment, was too busy with her boyfriend. When I got home noticed all around my forehead, and jaw line was badly stained. I had to wash my hair again, and scrub my face over, and over to get the stain off. After all this, still see gray in my roots. Overall I feel she was very unprofessional, and abused her position as a stylist. will never go back. read more

Prices keep going up, but I guess like the raises we get every year so, I shouldn't complain. Appt system by ph, not online. Told no appt after 4:00,,, it was 4: 00 when I called. Went there, less than 5 mins, as I live really close. A 4:15 appt walked in and both slow stylist were busy. I could tell it was going to take 30 more minutes, which would be close to closing. Lousy appt system. They try to be full service when they should stick with doing a 10 min haircut. read more

Maybe I should spend more money on my hair but it's not really in my budget and I like my hair! I have been going to Monica for over a year and I will never let anyone else touch my hair as long as I live in the DFW metroplex. She is the BEST. She always remembers me, recommended the best shampoo for my color treated hair, and has helped my hair look great. I've had it shoulder length, pixie-ish and short with her and no regrets each time. Only complaint would be that maintaining a super short haircut means haircuts every two weeks. But that would be true anywhere! Request Monica! She's the greatest :) read more
