Our usual place was closed, so I called here and asked if they take walk ins. They took my son pretty quickly, it was an obvious rush job. The person cutting my son's hair didn't listen to a word I said when I told them to follow the old hair style, just shorten it up and make it tidy. This is what he left with. An uneven blunt cut. The sides are tapered but not blended so it just looks ridiculous. His hair was styled when we left so I didn't see how bad it was until we got home and showered. I paid $19 for this cut plus an $8 tip. Now I have to take him to another place to get his hair fixed. read more

After already starting to cut my hair the guy told me to put on a mask, even though the customer before me had his off and on, as well as the guy cutting hair moving his off and on the whole time, and the other employee only having it on halfway. I told him no, it literally does nothing against a virus and we've all had enough of politicians saying what to do while they do none of it -- I won't do that. The other employee came from the back and finished my haircut, still with her mask only halfway on while telling me "it's company policy." Company policy? Funny that's the case when half the country is living free while the other half is muzzled and kept at home. I was very disappointed. I made an appointment for Sunday for a hair color. To my surprise, when I get there the lovely young lady tells me that she's surprised someone booked a hair color on the weekend. She states that she doesn't think they will be able to do it since her colleague called out today. "Some many appointments, and it's only me here. Let me call the manager." Had a very lousy outing at this particular Supercuts today. I first try to use their app and it said they were closed. Which is odd as it was in the middle of the day. I call and a lady picks up and I ask if they were open. With a response to the affirmative, I ask if my preferred stylist, Kimberly, is working that day. They informed me that she was until later that day. So, I drive all the way out there and when I walk in, the credit card reader is busted and they could only accept cash. I then have to drive around looking for a place that can offer cash back on debit purchases. Finally, went to Costco on the other side of the shopping center and got cash. When I returned, I was then told that Kimberly wasn't working there any more!!! What the hell? How can I be told not two hours earlier that she was working and then be told she was no longer an employee there!?! Can't keep their app working. Can't keep their card reader working. Can't retain their employees. And, obviously can't keep track of said employees. What kind of Circus Clown outfit are you guys running here? Thanks for wasting two hours of my Sunday. read more

Supercuts in general has gone down hill. I checked in on the app. Arrived early and there are three employees and no customers. They checked me in and stated that there are people ahead of me and that they will have to take them before me. Wait, what?! I get that I'm here early, but it's a waiting list not a appointment. Whatever. Sat there until my check-in time, while the three employees, including the manager sat around. One person arrived and went straight back, while the manager and other employee were nowhere to be found. Over head employee say that if people don't use the app they refuse service. I didn't expect much, especially after my visit to the North Main Street location. Stephanie was enthusiastic, and that's good, because she was the only one there at the time. There were no other employees and no other customers. There was a sign in the window claiming "low wait", though on the opposite side, it said "no wait". She quickly and accurately took care of business. She asked questions and took the answers into account. The price was $16, which seems a bit high for a place without sinks to wash hair but it's likely more expensive because of the shopping center. It seems to me that the other location was just under $14. While I'm still looking for the right place, this could be better than acceptable. read more

Normally go once every 2-3 weeks and this time they left a 0 trim spot with hair under it my line on my left side of my head as an entire inch higher than the line on my right side. Left side is faded and right side is just there. There was no line and no reason for them to rush. It looks like i cut my own hair without a mirror for reference. Same with my son. Line is all over and with tuffs of hair all over below his line. Will not return here. read more

I had to put this one on because it still bothers me after 3 weeks. I usually get my haircut in the east bay because I've known this same guy for 10+ years. He was on vacation so I had to settle for a haircut here in manteca. I unfortunately went commercial and did a quick decision. Walked in here and seen 2 ladies. They were both super nice, super friendly and I quickly got sat in the chair. The one that cut my hair was approximately 23 yrs old. So long story short, she did not take her time, or effort in my hair. I'm a man and like it short and very clean and tidy. Not even 5 minutes she was done. I asked her to work more on the clean up, tapering in a very nice way. 1 additional minute. Afterwards, my hair was not blended at all. Final cost 22.50. Again fuckin 22.50. My regular charges me 12.00 and he gives more time to make sure everything is even and precise. I'm not a demanding person. I just want a good job done for what I'm paying. And in NO way is a haircut worth 22.50. Here's some advice, train the hair stylists well, even if they are not looking at making it a career. Teach them to take pride in what they do. Major rip off and I'm for sure never stepping in there again. read more

Thank you to the two girls who cut my 2 son's hair today! We are new in town and have been treated pretty crappy in pretty much every business we have tried so far. I was concerned when I walked in because neither of them really acknowledged us, but they were just trying to finish something up on the computer real quick. After reading the reviews, I knew what I was getting myself into. But I still wanted to give them a chance & see if they can prove me wrong. I did a walk in, & yes it was super fast. Got my haircut right away & the girl that cut my hair her customer service was soo good, but the results on my hair was not how I wanted. My hair looked patchy & it was sooo un even. We had a good conversation & she was super sweet, so I didnt wanna be rude. Thats why I gave them a 2 stars because of her service & how fast she took me in. Hopefully my next visit, it'll be better. Took our 2 year old son here and not only did the stylist work well with him but the cut was the fastest we've had! & was a great cut! A 4 star only because we did the check in and still had to wait a bit, but not bad for walking in on a busy day. We will definitely be back in the future. Asked repeatedly to blend my hair with scissors but in the end I walked out with my hair looking chopped up. I have been getting my hair cut here for years and it is usually pretty good. They recently went through some sort of restructuring and the staff that I used to know is no longer there. I have terrible luck with the new employees. I actually showed the stylist a picture of me with my hair cut in the style that I like along with describing how I wanted my hair cut and she still managed to completely mess it up. The woman that cut my hair was also lacking any sort of personality to the point of almost being rude. I am now going to be looking for a new hair cut place. read more

For years I went to a SuperCuts in Pleasanton. So I kept to them when I moved. Went here 3 yrs ago and had a good experience. Since then I've been cutting my own hair to save money. Then 2 weeks ago I went to a different salon in town. Horrible experience twice. Decided to go see if SuperCuts could fix it or just chop it off and start over. Stephanie was able to fix the cut and help me find a good product to use to fix what happened at the other salon. She was knowledgable and very nice. Did a wonderful job on my hair!!!! Bonus, another stylist tried talking to her and she said they could talk later as she wanted to focus on me. I've never had a stylist put me before chatter. That meant a lot me. When I got home I double checked my hair and styled it. I'm a happy gal and look forward to Stephanie helping me get the long style I want. I start by saying I called for 1 pm check in-I walked in and for the first time all the chairs were full...I told the first person standing at the check in desk that I had checked in-she didn't ask my name and told me someone would be with me...15 minutes after 1 all the chairs were empty and no said they were ready for me, they just all disappeared. Took my 2 1/2 year old here for her 1st haircut. The stylist literally spent 2mins on my daughters hair and charged me $13 for it. I watched her spend over 20mins on the man that was before my daughter and he got charged less. Im very disappointed and I feel very ripped off. It really depends who you get. I hadn't gone to Supercuts in several years becauce of staff turnover. I decided to try them again. The first time got a girl who interacted w me, trying to be sure I got a cut I liked and no rushing me. The next time I went, I got someone who seemed to not want to be there and had no problem letting that reflect in her work, or lack there of. Eventually with much persistence on my part, I wound up with a decent haircut. Not worth my trouble for the price. I thought the technicians at Supercuts had standard required Supercuts training. It doesn't seem so. I'll go elsewhere. read more

Could not recommend this shop any more! It is fast, competent and professional. The stylist I am absolutely a fan of is Johnna...she listens, she shares her expertise, and I always get the hair cut I want. She is attentive and focused, but still manages to greet anyone who comes through the door! She knows the products as well. The shop is always clean and welcoming. And, I have never waited more than 5 minutes to get my hair cut. My husband also uses her for his hair cuts, and has never had a complaint.
