So I called Kimmy, and she responded that yes indeed, she does men's cuts. I made the appointment. Kimmy listened to what I wanted, and demonstrated how I would look with a completely different style. I was very pleased with the new look and gave her the go-ahead. Now, two weeks later I still love it. I am very impressed with Kimmy's styling and cutting talent. I'm yet another of her many very happy clients.

They told me I could come in around 3 pm for a haircut and I did. I didn't mind waiting and got my turn after around 30 minutes. My hairstylist was very sweet and gentle. She checked in with me if I was okay with the length of what she was trimming to make sure everything's good. She also made sure that we were on the same page with the haircut that I was going for. I have always asked for a layered haircut for the past five years from different salons and honestly, this is the prettiest and most complimenting layered haircut I have ever gotten. I'm obsessed with the style. I WILL BE COMING BACK!

I had tried the BB before at a different salon to calm my frizzy and dry hair no avail. But I thought, why not give it a go? I kid you not, my hair has always been frizzy, dry, and sensitive to humidity. I had wasted my money on different "5 star" products and treatments that didn't work. It was frustrating. My hair has earned the nickname "lion mane" because of how thick and dry it is. But this treatment completely transformed my look! Josie treated my hair with great care and attention to detail. She was very gentle and she wasn't in a rush to get it done. It really shows in the end product. My hair had never been this shiny and frizz free. And I have to mention her top-notch, cheerful service! From my very first appointment, she set the tone. I walked in with a Starbucks for myself and my stylist... completely unaware the salon had a café (which was closed, by the way). Instead of a normal greeting or a simple "Just so you know, we have coffee here," she loudly blurted out, "Who brings Starbucks here?" as if I had just broken a house rule. Not exactly the welcoming vibe you expect when you're coming in to spend money. Her attitude has been the same every visit since: dirty looks, zero acknowledgment unless you're her direct client, and an overall negative energy that shifts the whole room the second she walks in. And it's not just me. My best friend and my mom have both gone to the same stylist and experienced the exact same treatment from the owner. The same snarky comments, the same judgmental looks, the same cold, uninviting demeanor. So it's clearly a pattern, not a one-off. One moment that really stuck with me: it was just me, my stylist, and the owner in the salon. My stylist stepped into another room, so I raised my voice slightly to make sure she could hear me. The salon was empty. Yet I overheard the owner mutter, "Why is your client so loud? She's in a salon." Instead of speaking to anyone directly or respectfully, she chose to insult a paying client behind their back. Completely uncalled for and extremely unprofessional. Even if YOU the paying client says hi to her she looks you up and down and gives a cold hi back. At this point, the only reason I've ever tolerated stepping foot into this salon is because of my hairstylist. Who deserves better, and so do her clients. If you value professionalism, respect, and a welcoming environment, I'd strongly recommend booking with these amazing stylists anywhere else if they offer services at another location. The talent here is great. The owner is the problem.
