(I still drive to Boston to get my hair colored, as I will not trust a new colorist easily, especially one in a small town.) I made an appointment here for a trim, walked in at my time and was not greeted by anyone for about 3 minutes. There were hairstylists in view and no one at the front desk. Finally a woman came over, confirmed my appointment and said my stylist would be with me in a few minutes. 5 minutes later I left, went to my car to get something to read and came back. I waited another 5 to 7 minutes. In the meantime, I am judging the salon based on the brand of products they have displayed; this typically speaks to level of training the stylists have, and of course they are going to recommend this products. They have Paul mitchell, which you can also buy at Procuts. Not really impressed, but I'm just here for a trim. The salon area looks clean, the hairdressers appear to have decent hair styles. However, the clientele can be heard cussing and gabbing loudly from the waiting area, which gave it more of a bar/nightlife vibe. One woman's husband is even seated in the salon area, participating in the boisterous conversation. I get up and approach one of the hair dressers closest to me, asking if they know if (whatever the stylists name was, I don't remember) was around? She is at the adjacent chair, within view of the waiting area- which means she knew I was waiting and yet couldn't take 30 seconds to come and say hey I'm sorry, I'm running late. She does a decent job at a trim, but I really didn't appreciate having to wait so long while not being acknowledged by her. If I am the paying client, and a new client, I would think you would really step it up with the customer service- at least acknowledge my presence. Save your money and go elsewhere- I seriously have had a comparable haircut with better customer service at Supercuts. I am still searching for a local place to get my hair trimmed... I've been in this area for 2 years. I would rather pay more money to be treated warmly, as if I matter and I'm not a disposable commodity like I felt I was treated here. Disappointed.

She wasn't patronizing as some stylists can be but kind and considerate. I have been struggling with my hair for years and looking for decent style and color that is flattering. Danielle had much information to share and she was generous with sharing it. Another stylist made great suggestions as well. When Danielle revealed the results with my hair, I was delighted. I'd say I'm more bad-ass than gnarly, but whatever. Why is someone as bad-ass as me reviewing a hair salon? In the small town of North Oxford?!?!??!!! The first time walking into Shagged Hair Design on Main Street, or Rt 12, in North Oxford, I couldn't help but to drawn into the décor of Shagged. To be honest, Shagged's décor is geared to a mostly female clientele, but someone like me isn't there for the décor. I need to get a good haircut at a price that doesn't completely empty my wallet. Shagged does that. Living in Worcester, there really isn't a whole lot of good/personable/cheap barbers or places to get a good male haircut. I tried barbers in the City, but the trendy taper crap sucks. I tried Diorio's but unless you know someone that works there, you're just another $9 and you get a sloppy cut. This is where Shagged shines. The staff is friendly first, then business like second. I like this about Shagged. As a customer, you are able to give ideas and have someone from Shagged's professional staff recommend a cut to fit the person. So dudes like myself, suck it up and don't worry about the décor and go to Shagged Hair Design and get a gnarly haircut.

I had an appointment for 1:30 today. i called at 12 asking for an appointment and got one quickly…read more i drove to the nail salon and walked in. an hour after i had my appointment booked for i was taken. it wasn't good timing but it was okay. i was taken to the back and had to WAIT in a chair watching the woman do another girls nails. grace quickly came after she was done with her client and sat me down so i didn't have to wait until she was done. i asked for extensions and a dip and was given what i asked. she was very kind and understanding when i asked for a little shorter of a nail. the place is a bit dark in the back but over all it is nice and very up to date on trends. i would recommend grace she is wonderful
