1/5 stars I had a disappointing experience with Alaina at this salon. The shop was scheduled to open at 9am, but I arrived at 9:05 and it was still closed. I called at 9:14 and the stylist said she had just arrived after a 1-hour drive. The start already felt rushed and a bit unorganized. I originally booked online and mentioned the stylist who usually cuts my hair, but her name didn't appear as an option. Alaina she had the day off. Alaina mentioned she has 22 years of experience and used to teach for the company. She also brought up that the stylist I usually see is "always late" and said she only lives up the street and doesn't have the same commute, something that felt unnecessary to mention during my appointment. I provided three reference photos: a previous fresh cut, a similar style, and an AI-generated example to help communicate the goal clearly. Despite that, the haircut began quickly with her immediately cutting with one single snip of the scissors from the back above both ears before any real consultation or shaping. Throughout the appointment, the cutting felt rushed and uneven. There were visible inconsistencies during the process, and minor discomfort from the scissors multiple times. At one point, I asked for a very small adjustment to the bangs and top (about 1/4 inch), but the final result ended up significantly shorter than intended. The end result is very uneven and patchy, with noticeable imbalance, one side thinner than the other, and inconsistent shaping above each ear. While I can adjust to the short length, the unevenness and patchiness are difficult to overlook. When I said I had never had my hair this short before, Alaina said, "It looked better before, you should've stopped. But you said you wanted it shorter, so this is what you get." I walked in to get a haircut because I have been going there for several years. As I was getting my hair cut, the hairdresser complained about me in Spanish to another hairdresser (thinking that I wouldn't understand). Any business that treats customers this way should be boycotted. Very rude and disrespectful treatment. I walked out. read more

I signed in on line. The stylist spent a long time with the guy before me. She took me 15 minutes later than my scheduled time then rushed through my haircut. Not happy with results but felt like I was rushed out of there. After going here for years will not be back. read more

Today my son getting his junior haircut. We come here at least once or twice per month to get 'lined up'. The stylists are always friendly. We usually use a coupon for monthly haircuts that we get on the back of our local HEB receipts. read more

I came into this super cuts on Saturday, June 11th for a cut, wash, and style. When I first walked in around 1pm they only had 1 stylist there and told me to come back at 2. I proceeded to keep myself busy in the area and came back a little before 2. I sat and waited just a little for the 2nd stylist that was now there, Dusty, to finish with her current client. When she was done she asked me what I was trying to get done. She then told me that all of this would cost a lump sum amount, around $100 plus. A little hesitant I agreed as my hair was fairly long and I was asking for quite a bit. I went to the restroom really quickly and then came back to her getting ready to leave. She was explaining to the only other stylist there that she wasn't feeling well, which was probably true, but I couldn't help feeling pretty upset about this. Considering I had waited around for her to get there, waited for her to be done, and discussed pricing with her, just for her to turn around 2 minutes later to go home. She did not once discuss with me that she wasn't feeling well, nor did she even look or talk to me after. My spouse, who was in the lobby, was the one who informed me that she was leaving and proceeded to hand me a card with her name and a note that said "50% Off" in case I wanted to come back another day. Like that was gonna happen. I went to a different super cuts right after this and the price they gave me for the same things was only $60. Can't help but feel like Dusty gave me an absurd price of $100 plus in hopes I would refuse and leave so that she wouldn't have to do the work. In the end she did me a favor by leaving, but I will not be going back to this location in the future. read more

Brand spanking new store located by the LA Fitness on 620. I walked in with a heavy head because I had finally convinced myself that it was time to cut off my locks of love. I walked in with a lot of hair. Like nine inches in length. I walked out with something else. I was greeted by the ever so friendly Cristina. "Hi. Welcome to Supercuts. Please sign in and I'll be right with you". She was finishing with another customer. Moments later I was shown to my chair where the crime of the century was about to go down. As she jacked me up and spun me around to face the mirror, my lip started to quiver. My mind was screaming for me to stop this madness and run! I looked at my reflection in the mirror and became slightly teary eyed. Cristina grabbed a couple hand fulls of my hair and asked "What are we gonna do today?" Seconds later these dreadfull words left my mouth. Words that are still haunting me. "I want to cut it all off". She asked me how short and I couldn't answer because I simply didn't have an answer. She recommends we start long like an eight with the clippers on the sides and back and scissors on the top. Decision had been made. It was time to begin the crime. She grabbed some hair. Held it up, and, while looking at me in the mirror she asked "Are you sure? Last chance". I said "yes". During the process I got an eye quiver and rubbed it. Cristina said "Don't cry". We both laughed. Minutes later, like 30 or so, I was escorted to the washing station where I got a good hair wash. Back in the chair she put some gel in my hair and talked me through different options for styling and stressed that I didn't need to go heavy on the gel. I never put chemicals in my hair, so this is a first for me. I walked in this place with a head full of locks and walked out looking like Jack Nicholson. Good thing I'm a fan of his. Curls are beautiful especially when they're natural. I will miss my curls for sure, but I gotta tell ya, they are hard to manage and take care of. Maybe I will grow my hair out again some day, but for now, I'm happy with my decision. read more

I'm writing this review to express my dissatisfaction with the hair cut I received today. The name of the person who did my hair cut is Leticia. She did not perform the hair cut as per my requirement. Her work output is less than professional. Because of this, I have to suffer her bad cut for many days to come. She put a bad line on my craft line using a razor. It looks really bad for me. Since my hair grows slow, this bad hair cut will take time to heal. I will suggest avoiding a hair cut with Leticia after 6 PM any day. I don't know if she is really this bad or if this is one instance, either way, this has lead to bad output. I could have a better hair cut if I used the trimmer at home. What's the fun in paying $16 to someone then? read more

Note: Review is for men's haircuts I wasn't satisfied with the haircuts I was getting at Cost Cutters so I decided to try out this Supercuts one day on my lunch break. I walked in, waited about 5 minutes, then got a great hair cut from Michelle and was out of there in less than 30 minutes total. My girlfriend saw me later that day and immediately recognized that my hair was cut by someone with much more skill than any of the cuts I got at Cost Cutters. I just got my hair cut by Michelle again a few days ago and I will now request her each time I go. Aside from the great haircut, Michelle was also a great conversationalist. That's not to say that we had any sort of deep conversation, but the small talk was just right. Not too talkative but also not awkwardly silent. Whenever I went to Cost Cutters the small talk was either forced and awkward, inappropriate, or just too much information. For instance, last time I went the person cutting my hair went into detail about how she doesn't agree with the way her sister disciplines her children (spanking). Another time the stylist went on an unsolicited rant about why Texas should secede. Why did I wait so long to switch to Supercuts! read more

Walked in to get a trim, and Jenny cut my hair. She did an excellent job, referred any products that were needed for my hair, and was very friendly. Jenny is the reason I will go back to this particular Supercuts, she made me feel welcome and addressed my concerns about my hair. read more

Great haircut, but very deceptive marketing practices. On the back of the local HEB receipts, it said they honor all competitor coupons. Great Clips right next door has a mailer coupon. When I presented that coupon, my stylist said they can only take up to $2 off their prices. Went home to double check if there was any fine print on the HEB coupon. Nope. The HEB coupon is $3 off. I have been going to this Supercuts since they opened several years ago. I used to always request Michelle (who I believe may now be in charge of this & perhaps several other locations)! My husband recently had Jenny cut his hair & he was very happy with the his visit & the end result. I have now had Krystalea cut mine twice, and she did an awesome job both times. We agree that both of these stylists are exceptional! My hair takes quite a while to dry & straighten, and Krystalea is so patient & gentle, and always makes it look amazing!! I would surely give her 10 stars if possible!! This is a fantastic place & I won't go anywhere else!! read more

Horrible scheduling service. Spent more than an hour and a half waiting after scheduling on the app that said a 20 min wait. Even several individuals who put their name on a list by calling ahead would show up randomly and make the wait even longer. Finally got one of the ladies to look at the issue and she said it would be another hour. Very poor service. read more

Live by the area and usually always get my haircut downtown closed to work. Prefer to go to someone who knows me and how to cut my hair without me telling someone all over again. I walked in and Jenny greeted me and smiled. She was super knowledgeable and helpful. She asked me if I had ever been to this location before and told me a few details about Supercuts. I saw down in the chair and she asked me what my preference was in cutting my hair. She stared talking to me and asking me about my day. It's always so awkward when your getting a haircut and they don't talk to you but Jenny asked a lot of questions. She was so friendly and cut my hair perfect! I am really happy with my haircut and her customer service. I don't feel like I paid for service and wasn't acknowledged. She made she my experience was wonderful and I was happy with my haircut! Will for sure come back and have Jenny cut my hair. read more
