I've actually been driving by this location for years not knowing this location existed because there is no sign along the road to let you know it's there. This business faces directly out onto Dessau Road and their closest neighbors are Factory mattress, and Jersey Mike's Fortunately, my fellow yelpers lead me to this location. He picked out a cut in a book and she knocked it out of the park. It even looked better than the picture. Been looking for a good place to get my hair cut for awhile. Saw that they had pretty good reviews on yelp so I gave the place a try. On a Friday there was only two ppl working which made for a very long wait time to get a haircut, that's fine I'm pretty patient. One of the customers that got his cut before me was under the impression the cost was considerably less, needless to say he wasn't happy but didn't make that much of a fuss and he paid the $25. As soon as he left they started talking trash about him which I felt was immature and made for an awkward experience that wasn't necessary. My haircut was okay but it took a little persuading to get what I wanted and even then towards the end it was like she still wasn't on the same page, it shouldn't be that difficult to get a good hair cut. She came close! I'm still looking for a place to get my haircut though. Maybe my expectations are to high. read more

I'm closer to 70 than 65, and I left Vivi's chair today feeling more attractive than I have in decades. Vivi is full of sass, but has the brass to back it up. Her technique with a straight razor was a revelation! I don't think I've ever had such a flawless cut as what she gave me today; she took my basic utilitarian haircut of 50 years to a new, sexier level and I couldn't be happier. Other staff members were watching as she tamed the mop on my head, learning new techniques and tricks to better improve their own skills. There aren't stars or words enough to express how impressed I am with her artistry. I won't say she hides her light under a bushel--she's good and she knows it, and deserves all the accolades she claims. read more

Management, here's a suggestion: when you notice that every weekend your wait times are 45 mins - 1 hr; when you see potential customers enter store, only to leave when they're told the wait; when the 3 stylists in a room with 6 stations are having to not only cut hair, but man the register, answer the phone, greet customers, and clean up, how about HIRING ANOTHER EMPLOYEE OR TWO!?!? Chelsea was amazing! I saw her on 10/27/16 and normally I hate my haircut it always ends up shorter then I asked for. I wait a month & finally like it! lol but not with Chelsea she cut it a little bit at a time & made sure it was the length I wanted & got my layers just right!! Sorry that you had that experience, but my experience was on the other side of the pole, they did have several people waiting with only three stylist but I didn't have to wait because I had checked in on the app. I walked in and told them that I had checked in on the app. And they finished what they were doing a took me right back ahead of the people that were wait. The stylist told me, when I check in that i by pass the people that came in after I checked in. I like the app idea. It shows the wait time, so when I check in I can go and do other errands. And I do notice when I check in before shop opens it's because when stylist clock in before shop opens, it opens the app so you can check in. The app clearly tells you what time the shop opens also. Just info to know. I like all the stylist there, I have not had bad haircut there yet. read more

This review is to thank Supercuts for letting me know just how much they do not want my business ever again. I went online and put my son's name on the waiting list like I've done many, times before. I saw that Yvette was working but it was not the same one that had cut my son's hair previously. My son and I walk in and the young lady at the register was nice enough and found that we were on the online waiting list like we have been in the past. Since I did not recognize any of the women from previous visits I asked if they could do a military high and tight cut for my son. Two of the girls were smart enough to say that they were not familiar with how to cut that style of haircut. The other woman (the wrong Yvette) was there and said "yeah, I can do it". When she finished with her previous customer, looked at me and my son and asked if he was ready. He got up and walked with Yvette back to her chair. I followed behind them and she asks my son where is his mother? Why would she feel the need to do this? I walk over and say "I am his father can you do a military-style high and tight"? She says yes I can. I explained to her, just like any other visit to Supercuts, what type guards to use. When she finished the cut I went back and saw that she had cut it unevenly on one side to the point where there was no way it was going to get fixed. She then wants to tell me that his skin is dry. Dry skin is no excuse for a bad haircut. I did not want to argue with her, I said okay that's fine. We get to the cash register and she charges me $19 for the haircut. I asked her why is it so much more than my previous visits. She explained that the style of haircut was a special request, and that there is a $2 extra fee for special request. I did not know a high and tight was a special request, and neither did the other 15 people that cut my son's hair previously at that Supercuts location. She began to get rude and tell me that she has been working there for over a year and that this policy was put in place in 2013 and the sign has been there all the time. At that point I just paid her and we walked out. So I would like to thank Supercuts for explaining to me in no uncertain terms that they never want my business again. I will be more than happy to accommodate by never returning. You screwed up my son's hair, overcharged me and then became rude. That stylist needs to learn how to cut hair and provide adequate customer service. No one wants to hear her attitude. Griselda and Gina need to come back. read more

After attempting to go to the Boardwalk location where we encountered the grumpiest stylist and a very long wait, my boyfriend and I were refreshed by the warm hello and easy check-in computer process. The wait wasn't too long either, just enough time to peruse a half a magazine before they called our names, giving the option of who first. First up, my boyfriend had his super thick hair thinned by Sparkles. He's pretty happy with how much lighter his head feels and got exactly what he asked for. I went second and am very happy with how Tracy was able to take the photos I showed her and really give me a stellar cut! I have curly hair that usually gets cut shorter than I hoped... I don't understand who actually manages this place. EVERYTIME I've ever been in here there's someone new. This last time was the last straw. I've given them two chances previously. I didn't know a simple fade with a hard part was so difficult but apparently it is. I literally had to tell the lady what to do and then come home, get my clippers and clean up what she had done.
