I have naturally strawberry blonde thick but fine long hair. I'm picky & I know it! I prefer my reds a bit darker with balayage warm blondes woven in. No- it is not the same getting highlights! If you know hair color chemistry & cuts at all, you know a lot can go wrong when placing red & blonde onto a very full head of long hair. The dreaded orange hot roots; red bleeding onto blonde pieces; mixing red & brown to find the shade I think is right; mixing again because I always require more product; placement so balayage flows & doesn't look like a big Tulsi Gabbard style chunk (sorry Tulsi, luv ya)! I've seen 4 different stylists at 2 locations and I get consistently great color!! I've even taken others! My elderly mom got a perm (yea, people still do that!) and new cut she loved. My bff who just moved to UT had a cut with root coverage. She's already booked to go back. To show range- I'm a white gurl with a ton of straight hair; my bff is Mexican with thick curly strands. My mom has thinning very short hair with unruly cowlicks. All were happy! At Willow Creek location, there is a separate room for hair washing & it's like heaven! I'd pay extra for more time having my hair washed/scalp massaged. I wish I could remember every stylist name, but shout out to both Chloe's! Tyson nailed my color too. Friendly, fun & great listeners. I've heard some locals whine about price, and to this I say, try getting this quality in CA where I live or go ahead and cheap out & live with the results. Worth every penny! I don't wanna get any of the staff in trouble, so I'll just add that a few helpers were generous with wine & snacks. This left me with a decision-wait for her or take the chance on some place I know nothing about, but could get me in sooner. She even round brushed out my curls and made my otherwise curly hair pretty straight for a few days until I washed it again. However, my experience was a little odd. The girl that cut my hair barely talked to me-I'm used to a little bit of conversation, but she kept to herself other than to clarify how I wanted my hair cut and to explain what she was doing. The facility is also a bit underwhelming. It is dated and not very aesthetically pleasing-old mismatched tile, no pictures on the walls, dirty surfaces. Part of the appeal of a salon and spa is the atmosphere and this one is bare bones. I will give it to them for the price-my cut and style was less than $50 and I was able to book an appointment within 4 days, so I didn't have to wait long.

I booked a manicure and pedicure and asked in advance how long the appointment would take because I had a medical appointment afterward. She told me it would take three hours, but after nearly five hours, my nails still weren't finished no polish or design so we agreed I'd come back the next day to finish. I still paid the full amount (over $150) because I trusted her and wanted to show good faith. However, she didn't respond to me the next day as agreed, and I didn't hear back from her all weekend. When she finally reached out at the end of the weekend, she said she had lost her phone, but instead of scheduling me for that Monday, she told me I'd have to wait an entire week. I had a medical emergency come up that week (which I had already told her about before even booking), and unfortunately had to cancel. When I reached out again to try and reschedule, she said she wouldn't be redoing the service and that she "doesn't do free work" even though the service was never finished in the first place. The only "solution" offered was to take off the price of a nail art design next time, even though she previously told me she doesn't charge extra for that anyway. She also tried to say the reason the appointment took so long was because I didn't know what nail design I wanted, but that's simply not true. I picked my design while she was still filing and prepping my nails, before she was even finished with that step. It felt like she was using that as an excuse to shift the blame for poor time management. In the end, I paid over $150 and walked away with incomplete work and a lot of frustration. I value small businesses, but I also value honesty and professionalism. I showed up respectfully and in good faith, but unfortunately I wouldn't book w Bailey again based on how this was handled. Especially, when I go out of my way to tip +15-25$ after every service!
