One of the worst smoothie places in denver in my opinion. It's a nice location next to a park but this place is run by a bunch of teenagers who haven't been taught how to run a business, give customer support, or make a smoothie. My smoothie bowl had frozen chunks of fruit and basically wasn't blended at all. Also the prices are extremely high especially for what you get. I've been here a few times now and every time has been spectacular! First and foremost, I totally crave superfruit's food. I usually hate waking up, but on the mornings I know I'm stopping here, I actually spring out of bed. I typically order their acai bowls, which are filled with fruit, granola and drizzled with honey. Sometimes I add some almond butter for extra protein and deliciousness. I get the acai blended with blueberries and soy milk and have found it consistently contains the perfect amount of sweetness. Almost like a frozen yogurt consistency, for those who haven't had it. They top it with Boulder granola (I love that they use local ingredients). The service is great! The first time I came I wasn't quite sure what an acai bowl was. The cashier was more than happy to explain my options and even offer a few samples. The prices are great as well. The steel cut oatmeal with fruit is a great deal, and I think it will become a go-to when I'm out of food at home. read more

I used to love coming here when it was under the old management, the food was soo good and they had great service. Now that the establishment is under new management, my experience has not been the same. The service is always subpar: the other day I came in and got a fruit bowl, as I excitedly received my bowl I looked down and saw a thick, black, long hair, when I asked for a new one I was greeted with resentment and an eye roll. I work in the restaurant industry and I understand that complications occur time and time again, however what I was not expecting was the distain and frustration for an unscathed bowl. I was so excited when Superfruit Republic opened its doors a few months ago and I could once again get my Acai fix as this is a popular trend in Southern California right now and its making its way to Colorado. Pros; Clean, Friendly Service & Delicious food / drink Cons; Too much on the menu - I am familiar with this type of food but there are a ton of options and someone could get lost if they were new to the Acai Bowl experience. Expensive & Misleading - The last time I came in the manager offered to put "double oats" on our bowls and didn't say anything about the price so we just assumed he was giving it to us at no cost, we ended up spending $20. I would have given the place a 4 or 5 star review but when you mislead a customer like that - you lose that extra star. read more

I stopped by on Sunday to try out an acai bowl. I had never had an Acai bowl before, but had heard my friends from California rave about them. I loved the idea of a healthy post work out snack so I dropped by after a run. Everything about my experience at Superfruit Republic was wonderful. I walked into the sleek and modern shop and was immediately impressed by the design. There is a cool white accent wall, and you can watch them make the bowls in front of you. Since I had never ordered an acai bowl before, I was very grateful that the cashier walked me through everything. I selected the original (strawberries and bananas with fresh honey) with the apple juice/blueberry blend topped with vanilla granola. The cashier was super friendly and really helped me craft my bowl based on what types of fruit I liked. The price was fair for all the fresh ingredients used. It only took a couple minutes for them to whip up my order. The end result was completely delicious! Super fresh and sweet without being too much. I would get this over frozen yogurt any day of the week! It also kept me full for hours. Definitely a plus after a workout! I will be back son and often. I've never had an açai bowl before today and I think it has changed my life. They were SO helpful and explained what their bowls came with and good flavor combos. I try to avoid dairy as much as possible, and they were very knowledgeable about which of their ingredients contained it and which didn't. It was giving me a little brain freeze at first, but then it began melting and i think i liked it even more then! I got the Tropical, which had banana (an entire banana!), mango, I chose the vanilla granola, a drizzle of honey, and the açai base mixed with coconut milk. I will most definitely be coming back! I gave my boyfriend a taste, and even he said it was amazing (and he hates anything remotely healthy sounding). Terrible experience this morning. Went in for 1st time, was shocked they don't sell fresh cold pressed juice. I decided to purchase a bottle of pre made juice. The sign said $5. The clerk rang me up and said $7.54. I asked why it was different from the sign. She said I don't really know, I just started working here. Then she turned and walked away. Always love vegan health food places, we just need more of them in Denver. Superfruit's smoothie bowls are more reasonably priced than most places, and all of their granola is gluten-free. You pick your base (acai or pitaya), then your toppings, pretty standard stuff. The acai base on it's own is a little bland. The staff goes half and half acai and pitaya, which is the way to go. Not too sweet and not too bland. There is room for improvement, though. The base of the bowls is on the watery side, even if you go with soy milk as opposed to juice. You can add a nut butter to make it more creamy, but other places make that part of their base to begin with. They also go pretty light on the toppings. You can add additional toppings or double the granola to make it more filling, but then you're paying extra. Still not a bad deal. read more

Service was quick and our bowls were delicious. I recommend the Pitaya over the acai - it's a little less sweet but it's smooth and delicious with vanilla granola and agave. I almost order every day and during the week the bowls are good looking, but then weekend comes around and they are served in smaller cups, made super sloppy and when you email the website to express your concerns, the management never responds. I'd say go to the shop and enjoy it, or DO NOT order for a delivery on the weekends. Their staff quality clearly lowers during those days. read more

Reminded me of the frostys from Wendy's that how creamy and delicious it is! Not tart in the way other fruit bowls I tried are so it doesn't leave you feeling like you're eating a smoothie in a bowl! They pack on the macadamia in this bowl and that crunch adds the perfect texture! But the dried shreds of coconut really top the bowl off! This is an exceptional treat for anyone looking to satisfy that sweet craving but are looking for a healthy option, this is the place to be! Parking in this area is a nightmare so be mindful of that! Some of the staff are somewhat inexperienced but I've also run into a few really good girls in there who were on top of their game so, thank you ladies!
