Coconut latte + spicy chicken empanada
    Azure G.

A little piece of calm in an otherwise chaotic area (they have their own lot which is a bonus). Came here in the early afternoon on a weekend and it was poppin'. Not a ton of seating options indoors, but they do what they can given the space. Baristas were busy but remained friendly and helpful for recommendations. We came with a stroller and managed to find a spot to post up with baby, but it wasn't the most stroller friendly spot we've been to. Also not sure if this would be the best place to get work done from, though I did see some outlets. Loved their tea selection and the fact they had multiple pots steeped and on display - looked like you can also buy some of their bulk loose tea, which I am very excited about as they carry a brand I'm a fan of. Curious about their tea drinks, too. My husband had their Boulder Blues tea and it was delicious. I went with a seasonal coconut latte and it was also a winner. We didn't opt for anything boozey, but the options were there! Decent food selection for a small coffeeshop, though the spicy chicken empanada was on the dry side. My husband enjoyed his pop tart and empanada and they had pretty good looking sweet treats that others seemed to be digging. I don't think I would go out of my way to come back here to enjoy the ambiance, but I will absolutely come back to stock up on loose tea and maybe try another seasonal latte while I'm at it.

Stumbled into this cafe on my way to my doctors office. Such a nice and cozy spot with unique drinks! Love it! I ordered the green tea latte with oat milk and it was delicious! There is plenty of seating. Service was fast with friendly staff. The only thing is parking was a bit confusing. But besides that this place might be one of my favorite cafes this year!

The vibe at Kochi Cafe was really nice. There were some people just hanging out enjoying their drinks and others were working. I tried their almond croissant and the snowberry tea-monade. They heated up the croissant for me and it tasted pretty good, The outside was dusted with powdered sugar and sprinkled almonds, it all had a nice crunch and the inside was nicely soft. The tea-monade came iced and tasted like Christmas in a cold cup. It was cran-raspberry-ish with a slight pine flavor. I would definitely order this again and prefer the iced option. Although I was only in town for a day, I could see myself coming here to do a bit of work. The only downside is that this area is bustling and finding parking might be a huge chore.

Kochi Cafe is a coffee and tea shop near the Trader Joe's right off Colorado Blvd. Aka this area of town is always busy, ALWAYS hectic and chaotic. Entering the shop is a bright change of pace serving a daily dose of calm to your cup. I hadn't been in here in a long time. I came in to work on my laptop and take a few calls. There were patrons scattered around mostly catching up with others. The shop itself is a little plain, a bit outdated compared to many Denver cafes. Some might call it homie, but for me the dirty tables and older decor wasn't screaming for a return visit right away. I ordered an iced Americano and a Spicy Chicken Empanada. The coffee was good! The empanada on the other hand was unlike any other empanada. The texture and color was off. And you can tell the salsa that was served with it was from a can. I'd skip this next time and just stick with a beverage personally! Baristas were friendly. They had a steady flow of customers throughout the day. I was one of the last people in the shop before closing and they didn't rush us out. Compared to other coffee shops in Denver, Kochi doesn't have the same memorability factor. But they do a good job for the neighborhood!

I feel so lucky to be able to visit and enjoy this place. Relaxed, cozy and chill ambiance, noise level is moderate - low music and espresso machines. They are probably most famous for their tea - lots of herbal, black, green tea options and specialty drinks from those tea. This is a tea lover heaven especially if you want specialty drinks and not just plain tea in water. And then there are their pastries... a case of delight. I had the bacon cheddar quiche - one of the best quiche of my life, including the ones I have had in France. Their orange cranberry bread is soo moist and full of orange citrusy flavor. I love the Cape Town Fog which is a play on London Fog but made with rooibos and naturally caffeine free. It is not a huge space but seats open up and they do have extended cord outlets on the floor for laptop workers. Parking is easy in the back and staffs are pleasant. Love love this shop.

Americano with oat milk and a pecan scone
    Karen S.

I had visited this place in a previous iteration, before it was the Kochi Cafe. It was high time to visit the new coffee shop. I really liked the decor, although the place was packed and it took a while to get a table. I had an Americano with oat milk, which was good, but with a surcharge for the alternative milk. (I'm fed up with being penalized for having to avoid lactose, not to mention the compassionate benefits of encouraging non-dairy.) I had a really tasty pecan scone, but they do need to display gluten free stuff separately to avoid cross contact. This is a great place for a warm drink on a cold day, but I did think their prices were steep. So, I really liked the Kochi Cafe, but there are some pros and cons to the place.

    Hot chocolate!
    Michael B.

We're regulars at Kochi! Today's cold weather called for something different so I had the hot chocolate, so perfect for a snowy morning. And as always, really nice staff, cozy atmosphere, and a friendly environment. Definitely give Kochi a try if you're in the neighborhood.

White chocolate mocha and iced caramel macchiato
    Kevin W.

One of the many cafes within the 3 block radius in a long Colorado boulevard is a must. Kochi has a place in your rotation of your morning pick me ups. The staff is great and the drinks are of excellent quality. The coffee we had tasted great and they had such a wide variety of teas and beans to choose from. The caramel macchiato was great as an iced drink while my gf enjoyed her mocha. The food selection was slim when we got there so couldn't comment on that. It was a great day to plan out our trips and we would definitely be back.

cranberry orange slice and a pumpkin spice latte
    Stephen P.

Disappointed that they didn't have acai bowls any more but the cranberry orange slice was really good. The pumpkin spice latte and tasty and not overly sweet. Good vibes

I went in not knowing much if anything about teas or their menu. The ladies behind the counter answered every question I had, even the dumb ones! They are very professional and knowledgeable. Not a warm fuzzy feeling, but direct and to the point. I had a dirty chai, it wasn't overly spicy, which I liked. Sometimes chai's are too much. This was subtle and you could tell the tea was good. My son had the blended peanut butter drink, omg it is delicious! So much peanut butter!! Smacks you in the face! It's good! The pop tarts we got were a little dry, but the filling was tasty. They have parking in the rear and nice outdoor seating. I'll definitely be back.

The coffee is ok but the Kochi has really poor customer service and will get your order incorrect.

Owners Duc Huynh and his wife Dominique moved the concept to Park Hill in 2021 , and what they built here is hard to categorize in the best way. It's a craft coffee shop and boutique plant store in one -- and somehow both sides of that equation feel equally intentional rather than one being an afterthought. The menu leans into lavender lattes, Vietnamese iced coffee, and chai, alongside croissants and breakfast burritos -- a lineup that reflects the shop's AAPI-owned roots and a clear point of view on what coffee can be. The Vietnamese iced coffee in particular earns its reputation: rich, layered, and grounding in a way that a standard cold brew just isn't. The lavender latte is a regular on people's standing orders for good reason. The seating situation is worth noting -- swing chairs and limited spots mean arriving early on weekends pays off. Street parking is the move. Best for solo mornings, slow catch-ups with a friend, or anyone who wants to leave with a new plant and a drink they'll be thinking about on the drive home. Open daily 8am-3pm -- get there before the rush.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the shop, hard not to since it was filled with plants, plant care items, cards, jewelry and fun stickers. Look forward to coming back in the future!
