In September 2019 I moved to Fort Myers from Nebraska and within a month I had an engine light on, and my "D" for drive light started flashing on my 2009 Honda CRV. I was wary of taking it to a dealer and found Superior Auto Care with honest reviews online. I made an appointment for October 26th and had the pleasure of meeting Miguel Gonzalez, the owner, who assured me the car was safe to drive, then cleared two of the three codes related to the diagnosis of the vehicle. Mr. Gonzalez reported that I needed a 2nd clutch transmission pressure valve replaced. Mr. Gonzalez and his wonderful staff installed this part on my next day off and added quarts of transmission fluid to the car ensuring the car's longevity I am sure. I have an appointment on the 23rd for new spark plugs as the car has 122000 miles on it. While I was in the office, I witnessed Miguel loan a customer his truck, this customer service would take some time and Miguel did not want his customer to be inconvenienced. Another customer came in to offer to pay for hoses that Miguel had ordered for the customer's car. The hoses were the right order, yet Miguel felt that they were not of a suitable quality to install on a customer's car; Miguel declined to take this customer's money and said: "inferior parts are sometimes the cost of doing business, I won't pass this cost on to you". Miguel and his staff did a professional, cost-efficient, accurate repair on my car. He was kind and ethical with other customers in my presence. I am grateful that whatever the future brings I know exactly whom to trust my car to going forward. We were extremely impressed with the service we received from Superior Auto Care. First, we called the shop by phone to explain what type of service we needed - the A/C in our Audi A3 was not blowing cool air consistently - it would start cool and then it would change to pretty much blowing warm air. We were told at a different repair shop that we needed to change the Evaporator Core. I don't remember the name of the person we spoke to by phone at Superior Auto Care but he was very helpful explaining that they would need to do a diagnosis to confirm what is the issue and walked us thru the process. So we set up an appointment and brought the car in on Tuesday morning, June 11th. We were greeted by Jason. He was extremely friendly and explained in layman's terms how the process would work and that once the diagnosis was done, he would contact me. And that's exactly what he did. After testing the A/C unit and using dye to determine where the leak was coming from, it ended up that the issue was with the server motor activator. Once they re-calibrated it, they tested the A/C and it was working just fine. The cost for the service was very reasonable!! Yesterday I had the oil changed in my 2012 Toyota Corolla. Unlike AutoNation, the mechanic covered the seat and headrest with plastic and put down a paper floor mat so that oil stains would not be left behind. Brian was friendly and patiently answered any questions I had. When I mentioned to him that I had a small screw lodged in my rear tire, he had the mechanic remove and plug it at no extra cost.
